barcanista: Obiagelli, you and I know that the legislators will always hide behind the law to earn their immoral pay. I agree for a pay cut and scrapping of many allowances. However, I want us to do thourough research (findings) to get our facts right on how much they get whether housing, wardrobe, overhead, DTA, etc. Then we look at what is appropriate for them after factoring what they do and stuffs. Then we come up with a proposal for them to adopt with respect to their job which we believe is fair to them and to the Nigeria masses. After this we stage another protest to force them to adopt it and pass it into law. Any legislator that says he can't adopt it will be asked to resign.. This is a long term thing sis! But this N9b must not be allowed to be shared among these men Great! Now I get you. Nice one |

barcanista: I am not in Abuja but those in Abuja should pls #OccupyNass same time.
I agree that all issues be tabled at once but we have to propose alternative to them rather than ask them to adopt a cut. Pls read my reply to Obiagelli. This N6b is very urgent! They are to be given this money next week. We need to speak before the money "enta their account". You know no politician will agree to refund even a kobo. Hmmm. I just pray this movement works. |

torkaka: . . . . . . . . . . .how long can you hold such a protest in the raining season? . . . . . . . . . . .at what point do you envisage that people will break and go back home? . . . . . . . . . . . .I repeat, start with your individual representatives, that way you will force them to talk and say where they stand (instead of hiding behind a collective decision) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . it is high time one of these assembly members is made a scape goat using the recall power . . . . . . . . . . . .if 109 and 360+ are faced with a recall, what are the chances of not catching one fish? Recall power is the sure way out. For God's sake, what the hell is wardrobe allowance? They gets furniture allowance, house allowance, land allowance etc. What do they do with their salary? Goshh!!! |

EverestdeBliu: Here, this is what the human being termed 'flaunting of loots'.Now what's so expensive about this pic . From this pic,the only thing I'm not in concord with,is the policeman behind him. the "loots" in op's topic is what I don't get. And to think this is just the picture.... I giv up. I mean, cant the father acquire this for his son ORDINARILY from his own account? How is it loot? Except he have evidence to prove his assertion. Meanwhile, for the police, I think its cause of security reasons based on the heat in Ekiti. |

StOla: Same opinion I hold.
If indeed Saraki had such numbers behind him (57 vs 51), why did he have to rob fellow senators of the opportunity to exercise their franchise?
Why are some people so greedy, they are ready to steal, kill and destroy?
No one would contest Dogara's victory in the house, but many will refuse to acknowledge Saraki as their president in the senate. Yeah. |
