@ all Mamas complaining of sperm pouring out, have you thought about trying the Instead Softcups? There was a time it was trending here. If inserted properly, it will keep the sperm in and should be removed 12hrs later. By that time, all the sperm needed would have gone into the uterus.

Female factor – You need a blood test for day 2-5 FSH, LH, Estradiol, prolactin, day 21 progesterone, (AMH-if available), ultrasound scan to check uterus and ovaries, HSG to check tubes. I have zero tolerance to pain, please pain-free places would be highly welcomed

The best diagnostic place in PH, I know is Image. Standard and effecient.They run all the tests. But for pain-less HSG, don't think they do. Because when I did mine like, they didn't offer me that option.(but you can still ask sha)

Hello Doctors in the house. I have a pressing issue that I want the advise of qualified medical practitioners on this great forum on. please, I really need your candid advise on this issue.

My opinion? Meet a fertility Dr/Gyne, Run a complete fertility screening.
For you, you run SFA (seminal fluid assay) and sem.en culture. This is to test for infection and your fluid's count, volume and motility. (That you impregnated your wife 4 years ago, isn't a guarantee that your fluid is still the same)
For your wife, she needs to run a)HVS (high vi.ginal swab) to test for infection( I suspect UTI because of the pain during urination), b) TVS (transvirginal scan) during the time she thinks she normally ovulate
c) HSG -to check the state of her tubes.
d) a cycle day 3 and 21 hormone profile- to check for hormonal imbalace.

When you are done with all these tests, you will have a rough idea what you are up against, as per fertility-wise.

To your question, i think it's not too early to start fertility testing, being that you have tried on your own for more than 1 year. Infact una really try o. Me, after 5 months, I started testing o.
Drs say you can visit a gyne after you have tried for 1 year on your own. I don't know why your Dr is insisting on you waiting for 2 whole years to know the cause/s of the delay
Also, I don't think you need to do anything to the af for now. My opinion? Watch it. Don't try to induce af. Give it another 2weeks to show on its own. Then, run another hpt or bpt.
If it's still bfn (we hope for bfp sha), then you can meet your Dr, for af to be induced. Then start running these tests -: a cd3 and cd21 hormone profile, TVS/ follicullar tracking (at the period you think you would normally ovulate), and a hsg. Then, try and convince dh to run a SFA. These will give you a rough idea on what you are battling with. And how to tackle them.

I am new here and I commend everyone for the support they are giving each other here. I want to share my story in the hope that someone may help me understand what is going on.

Long post alert My periods used to be so regular but now they are erratic . I had a 30 day interval between this last 2 periods. My periods have always been 25-26 days interval. I don't even know if I am ovulating again.
Sorry for the long story, I just want to know if anyone is having the same signs and what they did or are doing about it. How long do you think I should wait before trying again? I am hoping in God for a miracle pregnancy without stress. I just need another baby and then I hands off this baby business. It is stressing me out.

Ok. My opinion, stick with your Dr. I think he knows what he is doing. Also, our bodies are different, we don't all heal at the same time or degree. Your surgery is just about 4 months old, I believe that by the end of the year, when you have been certified to try fully, that you would have been completely healed by then.
A cycle day of 26-30 days is normal, and cannot be said to be irregular.
Just keep taking your prenatals to prepare your body.

Benny Nwannem. @benignasweety, I want to encourage you with my gist. I neither have a mother nor a mother in law. My aunt that I begged to come and do omugwo for me indirectly refused coming with the excuse that she's not feeling fine but I knew she was angry I took in after trad but before white wedding because she's the too much church type (Am waiting for her reaction this time when her daughter puts to bed before 9 months after wedding cos her only daughter confided in me that she took in before her white wedding. lol)

Anyway, I had no alternative but to stay in my hubby's family house with his elder sisters that were not married. They invited one of their family friend to come and be helping me with bathing the baby cos I was a FTM. I wasn't feeding well cos they were told by people that I shouldn't eat anything like milk or proteinous foods so as not to start bringing out pus from my CS site. I ended up having shortage of blood cos I lost a lot of blood during childbirth and wasn't feeding well. It almost led to heart failure but thank God am okay. I later insisted leaving there 3 weeks postpartum to my house not minding I don't have a help except hubby who assists in his own small way.

My Baby is 8 months now and am carrying him to my teaching work and to school cos am doing a weekend post graduate program and am still alive and healthy

So, I just want to encourage you and like my eldest sister mamakendra will always tell me YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK. God gat you Inugo. These are just the stories for your glory. Cheers sis

Got my test result d 2nd day and it showed hydrosalpinges. I rebuked it cos d way dey were acting self I just ignored dem. But I took serra for 2months , castor oil and guifei bao. Just last month I went for TVs and I showed I have cysts on my ovaries. Den I taught DAT was wat DAT man saw b4 he szd it was hydrosalgines. Now m just confused and don't know wat to do. Please wat should I do. Should I go for anoda Hsg or just forget abt it. Please help me

I stand to be corrected, but I think TVS can show if there is hydrosalphinges. Thank God your tubes are ok. That is one victory.
Go for another TVS in a very good lab, ask the guy to check thoroughly for hydro and for cysts. That should give you a clearer picture. If any or both if them exist, there are many alternative drugs/procedures that has been discussed on this group. You can also pm @mumihaja, she is one of us here and she sells so many needed supplements that take care of the stated issue.
Most importantly, relax, God is in control.

Last cycle I was placed on metfo.rmin, cl.om.id, Vit E (1000mg), m2tone and some other drugs. Now my 26 days cycle increased to 30 days, with serious PMS (painful boobs, cramps, fatigue) on the 30th day, I started spotting. I spotted brown blood for 3 days (which didn't fill even half of a pad, throughout the day, for the 3 whole days) The af did not flow any bright red blood for the 3 days.
Repeated PT says bfn. PMS still continued for another 2 days after the 'supposed​' af.
So, I have been confused. Never had this before. Don't know which of the drugs could be the culprit.
So mamas, with previous experience on these drugs, or have an idea, abeg shook mouth.

I will keep reposting oo, till my able mamas answer me. After all my people say that if a goat feels an itch, it goes to the wall to scratch itself, but if a human being feels an itch, she runs to her sister to scratch it for her.

Just go to any lab and run a Random Blood Sugar test. It's about 500 naira or so. It would tell you if you are diabetic or not. Because frequent urination is one of it's symptoms. Then see a Dr ASAP if the result says it's high.
