I just wan ask. Abeg, I have a very regular AF, but recently found out that i dont ovulate sometimes, except when induced. No prolactin ish, but a bit elevated progesterone. So, between m2tone and vitex, which one is more suitable for me.

Dear mothers, pls be careful of what you insert in your vjays, before you add more problems to an already existing problem. Always seek for experts opinion or your doctor's opinion. Don't use something because you heard it worked for A, make your own enquiry first.
I am saying this for the sake of the new mothers on thus thread, who innocently try everything they read here.
Pls ask questions ooo.

@ mamakendra N friutfulray may God bless u for ur response. if AF comes dis month I ll go and do the hormone profile. Aldo did one last year was told is high prolactin and low estrogen. and I took bromegon 2.5 mg for 4 months 1 daily. but still.and my menses sometimes skip. may God help me.

Run the test. Its most probably the same high prolactin, cos I read it also messes up AF (period) and makes it irregular. You may also consider changing from the drug you mentioned to carbergoline (I hope I spelt it right)
Heard/read it works better for some people, though more expensive. And you take it just 2 times in a week. With less side effects.
Whatever is the case, discuss it thoroughly with your doc/gyn. And stick to your prolactin drug till you get your bfp, or run subsequent tests to be assured it has gone down. Cheers.

Pls see a gynecologist immediately.
Or you can run hormone profile test on your own. Post your results here for interpretation. Take p.arlodel or dostine.x for high prolactin, if it was observed to be high. Take lots of cabbage and steamed ewedu leaves.
Most importantly, try to read previous post on mamas that had similar issues and how they tackled it.

@MamaKendra if a doctor had prescribed the parlodel for you,he would have started on a low dose say half tablet for a day before graduating to full in a day.Parlodel turns one to a complete wreck,pele.give yourself break for like 3 days then re-introduce with half tablet at night.

@ ripvanwink, what if couple A did not achieve conception and couple B does. But with only couple A's embryo implanted, do you think that after the tests are done, that couple B will give up their only surviving child after years and stress of TTC, without a fight?
The reason people may not consider this approach, may be because of the legal and ethical issues surrounding this very controversial approach.
I will rather adopt and rest, than go through this coller coaster of emotions. My opinion though

@mamakendra, sum mamas here discussed abt this drug u used sumtimes back, they cut it into two and used half on friday, and half on saturday... I think the effect will be reduced by taking it that way

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try cutting it into 2. Hopefully the side effects will be reduced.

Mama Kendra, Were you tubes open or blocked in the first hsg you did? If it was blocked, what drugs did you use to open it?

According to the first hsg 2 years ago, the right tube was patent, but there was no convincing spill on the left tube. Months after the report, I took serrapeptase, did a bit of self fertility massage with castor oil. Stopped more than 1 year ago. Recently, I was on acv (apple cider vineger) in warm water on empty stomach in the morning, (about 4 -5 times weekly) for about 3 months.
I didn't do anything most gtc mama ain't doing, its just God.

So let me give some updates on what i have been up to. So i decided to try new or more things. But am having some nasty side effects from them.
I took 1 tab (2.5mg) of par.lodel just before night time 2 days ago, then after about 1 hour, though i was lieing down, i felt dizzy, as if the wall is spinning, weakness, nauseous, disorganized, weird, frequent urination, sleep no gree come (how I wan take explain this feeling self). I don't how I managed to make it to the next morning. I don discard the remaining 9 tabs (na so my #1,500 go, its well o)
Second gist, so I decided to run a hsg this cycle (had my first one about 2yrs ago) Found a Lab that does it together with hydrotubation. It was very uncomfortable, a bit painful (just when the dye was injected), but the most embarrassing part is having to open my full dignity to a man,who is about 70-75 years old, with more than 5 female attendants. I come dey regret say if I know, I for shave. Ha, all those black spots on my inner thigh, I wish I could wish them away. As I was crying during the procedure, my words were, 'God I am tired of all this, when will it end'
I know say those local attending girls, go use me laugh later, na them sabi.
Na me go laugh last, with my Kendra in my arms. Hahaha.
Still feeling seriously bloated with mild pains on my abdomen. Didn't get this bloated feeling with my previous hsg. Hope it gets better soon.
PS: both tubes are open. To God alone be ALL the glory.

No. u don't need to. just ensure that the water outlet is well blocked such that no fish will escape along with the dirty water. we use metal net to cover the outlet while draining the water. merci .

The waste water are going to an underground drainage.It is advisable to do the drainage while you are sinking your borehole, it is cheaper that way, I only gave them 20k for it.

Yes. i use dead chickens in my farm (the dead carcass are roasted whole to remove some feathers) and they are feed to the fish in concrete ponds whole and not just their intestines only. the water is drained every week and the leftover bones ( of chickens ) are scooped out

Hatchery waste are the eggs that refused to hatch into day old chicks at the end of incubation period in the hatchery. it is very cheap especially in areas where there are large concentration of hatchery. its been used in so many farms as good source of protein instead of wasting the product.. Am sure when given to fishes in concrete ponds they'll metabolise it well into their system.

Am interested in fish farming, but still a green horn.
Pls do you have to remove the fishes to another pond, for the chicken bones to be scooped out,(while draining the water)?

1) Ask for Maca from any good pharmacy.
2) Make tigernut (aya), dates and coconut juice.( buy it fresh, soak, remove the seeds, blend with clean water, sieve out the chaff and drink. Take this juice regularly, it boosts libido.
3) Speak to your hubby, tell him that he is not the reason you are having this issue of low libido, but you are willing to work on it and improve your marital relationship. You can also ask him to invite you to watch the p.orn with him, it make provoke intimacy again in you.(it works for some people)
4) Buy female lubricants, like pressed. Insert it before the do, dress sexy, initiate the act, do it the cow boy way. It helps to stimulate women.

Am sorry ma, didn't mean to make you sad, I was only trying to answer your question without thinking how it will make you feel. I am also a ttc mama, so I can understand to an extent your exasperation. Didn't mean to be insensitive.
Yes it may be a strangers egg, but it will be your blood and that of your husband that will run through her. You will share a placenta with her. Not the egg donor, but you.
She will take after your hubby, and take some characteristic traits from you, becos, you gave her life and blood, and share a union for 9 whole months which no else on earth can share with her.
Just like metaose said, you will not even notice the trait of the donor, since you don't her and you wouldn't even know what to search for in the first place.

Its the donor's egg, not yours. So the child will take after the person who has the egg it came out from( the donor ) and the person whose sp.e.r.m fertilized it.

Welcome to the group. May your stay be very short and fruitful. You can conceive with a fibroids, but it depends largely on its position. That is, is it within the uterus or outside of the uterus walls?
Pls get a second opinion, so that if there is a need for you to do a mymectomy, you can start the early.

Yes. The drug is used to 1) treat breast cancer and 2) induce ovulation. But most pharmacy attendants do not know that.
I searched 5 big pharmacies, calling letrozole for ovu induction for them, they didn't know what I was talking about.

So, for mamas like me who are finding it difficult to get pharmacies that sell letr.ozole/fem.ara, or are being discouraged by the high price, you can try tam.oxifen. It is also in the same class of drug with letr.ozole. its also used for ovu. Induction, without the unpleasant side effect of cl.o.mi.d. its cheaper and more common/accessible. I am also trying it this cycle, hoping for the best of news this cycle. I bought a card of 10 tabs (20mg) for #400.
