At last the day came that she was off to Unilag Mary Ann's parents had tried at the last moment to get her transfared to uni ben but it did not work out, (they wanted to keep her in sight as they lived in Benin).
The bags were packed and it was time to go thankgod Eve that also got admission to unilag was also there . This was the first time she was seeing her since the incident 2 weeks ago with Ugo,. A deadly silence dominated the Trip to Lagos Then Maryann's dad was driving.
At last they got there and helped them carry their luggage to the flat he had rented together with Eves parents .
The landlord was an old class mate of Marys dad so he also went to meet him to ask him to keep an eye on the girls.Male visitors forbidden, Dad had a good feeling then the landlord was a man with 3 wives meaning more eyes watching.
After a long lecture the dad finally left.
Eve now asked her what happened on that dreadful day but at the moment Mary Ann was not ready to talk about it.
She had been able to bribe the maid to bring a letter with information to Ugo, it had cost her a whole months pocket money but it was worth it.
Ugo must be already waiting for her somewere down the road.
"I need to buy "some soap she said to eve. "But you can have mein" answered Eve
"I only use truebeauty" Maryann answered and rushed off before Eve could say any other thing.
Ugo was waiting for her and she fell into his arms But somehow he did not respond
She looked at him and asked .
Ugo paused and now told her he had a confession to make.
Maryann could not believe her ears, everything he had told her was a lie.
He had not made it to Uni lag infact her had not made it to anywere and his parents were now sending him to London to try his luck there , They saw no hope for their son in Nigeria.
Maryann felt like she would pass out any moment.
It just so happened that he was in Lagos because of his journey, he was staying in a Hotel with his parents and his flight was that Night.
No time to see him off his parents thought he had gone to buy
to be contunied

She was to change her mind soon because Ugo "took her to heaven" over and over again the whole night ( She had told her mum she as sleeping over at eves place because Nigerian roads are not too safe at night for a young girl)

She was so disappointed when the sun came up and it was time to go home she would rather have stayed but there was no way out she had to go home.

A nasty suprise was waiting for her on getting home as she walked into the livingroom.
Her mum her dad and EVE sitting there waiting for her.( Maryann did not fill Eve in on her plans because she knew that eve will never play along )

"Why the hell did she have to come here today?"

Deadly silence in the living room the mother hissed and walked out. This was not good at all Eve right behind the mum making it worse"traitor" she thought.

Now she was at the mercy of her dad.
"One question on answer" he said as he drew his belt off his Pants and lashed it in the air.

Marys mind worked quick the best was to say nothing at all and expect the worst.

Dad trashed her over and over again with his belt repeating his Question It was the Gateman and the housemaid that saved her that day.The gatemanholding the dad and the house maid on her knees begging.
Mary Anna was so disappointed that her mum and friend had not come to her rescue Little did she know that even the mum was afraid of the dad in some situations

Little did she know that Eve had come the night before shortly after she left for Ugo's place and that her parents had spent a sleepless night fighting.The dad had giving the mum a few slaps for letting the daughter go. But he had to admit to himself he would have done the same.

Little did she know they had bombed Eve with Questions and Eve had spent the night there a witness to the family drama. Mary mum phoned Eves parents to ask them if Eve could stay over.

Leaking her wounds she went up to her room her mind racing, He made plans on how to run awaymarry Ugo and never come home again.

But Ugo lived with his parents,

Maryann was now grounded and all privileges taken , no going out no phone calls till she left for school .The gateman and the maid had strict instructions not to let her anywere near the house door talk less of the gate

Maryann had just finished taking a shower and was making up her face.
Today was the day she was going to do IT.

She had already layed out her cloths on the bed that she intended to wear, the matching under wear she had bought in Paris last summer. ( her parents took her on a trip to Paris as a reward for successfully passing her exams after her SSS3 and she had her admission to unilag in her pocket)

She and Ugo had been friends since their jss 3 But today was the day,
A knock on the bathroom door and her thoughts were interrupted, her mum came in and ask suspiciously "what are you up to dear" ."Nothing" was all she could say.

"It does not look like nothing" why the hell do mums alway have a way of butting in at the wrong time.

"Ho Eve is having a suprise send off party for me she dose not know i know but Ngozi let it leak so i want to go prepared."

Marys mum was satisfied with this answer, which mum will not be . Maryann and Eve had been friends since nursery school and the mum wished her daughter would have more friends like her.

No two friend could be more different than Maryann and Eve . While Maryann was more of a dressed to kill happening person . Eve was more of a religious person very simple and modesly dressed not because she came from a poor family or because of her parents she was one of those very rare people that have the "calling" .

Every one wondered how the friendship could last over the years,

Maryann was all dressed up by now a last look in the mirror and she left for Ugo's place.
Ugo's parents had travelled and they had the house too themselves all the lights had been deemed.

The bell rang and Ugo opened the door , there was an uncomfortable silence but both of them knew tonight was the night.They both walked upstairs to Ugo's room and just to be on the safe side , Ugo locked the door.he put on the red light in his room and the CD he had picked for this occasion ,a CD full of love songs Barry white and co.
Fumbling and kissing was not knew to them but Mary Ann was nervous because she knew she was going all the way this time.

Somehow she did not realize that Ugo had ridded her of most of her cloths(any other person with a bit of experience would have known it was not Ugo's first time).

The kisses on her neck had made her blood run hot she felt the heat down to her slip that was wet in her own juice and found her self on the bed.

Many animals from far and wide came to attend the court.
The the fat goat with the short legs was the lawyer of the duck, the rabbit that lived in the house was the lawyer of the cat.
The rabbit had a big job getting the cat to shut his mouth because the cat as every one knew was very rude. and may just end up annoying everyone.
The duck was rude too but since every one knew the duck was mad, it did not matter what he said.Because he was mad. Mad ducks have unlimited freedom to say and do what they like.
Well the pig banged a Toy hammer on a desk that the little girls mother had put out for them and the case started.

Funny enough no one knew how the fight started or who started it.
But the judge had a duty to do besides little girl and her mother were also annoyed.
Little girl because her hand was still paining her and the mother because of the bill.
Both of them were sentenced to spending the whole day together getting rid of the sluges that were spoiling the lettuce on the yard.
The duck was very happy about that but the cat that was a spoiled brat found this quite disgusting, He also found that it was not fair that the duck was happy with the sentence. But try punishing a mad war happy duck.
All the animals went their way satisfied with the sentence and happy that there was something to talk about.
Some animals even stayed to make fun of the duck and the cat picking sluges.
A hen even started making fun of them that was a big mistake .
Before it knew what happened , it had a bucket of sluges thrown on top of it.
The hen went to complain to the cock , but the cock was afraid of the duck and did not go to challenge the duck and the cat.
We all know that an icdent like that can make two foes to friends , at lest for some time.
The mad duck allowed the cat to go that he will get rid of the slugs alone ,and the cat was very happy to go.
From the window of the little girlöls room he watched the duck having the time of its life getting rid of the slugs.
To crown it all the little girl had forgiving the cat and had brought him a blow of milk.

The court case.

One morning the cat was outside in the yard doing nothing,It so happened that the mad duck came its way and they somehow got into a fight.
I do not know how the fight started but that is not so important, the cat hit the duck with his paw right in the face and drew blood,the duck bit the cat in the tail and did not let go.
WE know that a duck has no teeth but it sure has a strong beck,
Well the cat screamed and all the animals came to look.
The pig, the chicken the other normal ducks, the horse and even the frog that lived by the river.
The little girl had to take both animals to the vet.
She put them in her carrage nad pulled them both to the vet because both of them claimed they were in so much pain that they could not walk anymore.But both of them were still quarreling all the way to the vet.
When they got to the vet they were very quite ,we all know all animals are afraid of the vet,little girl in blue was happy about that because her nerves were at an end and her hand was paining her from pushing the carrage.(her ears were paining too by now.)
The Duck got a cream for its face and the vet had nothing for the cat,because the tail was OK.
The cat insisted that the tail was not OK,so the vet gave the cat a peppermint and told him it was a tablet for the pain.The little girl got the bill.
When they got back home all the animals had gathered again to see what happened, I must admit most of the time they were so bored that they made very bigsensation of every little thing that happened.
This time they decided to hold a court case, the pig was the judge

to be contunied

A beer drinking pig is better than a child eating wolf any day.
I want it to be a modern day story.
The little girl in blue even has a flying bed that will come her way soon and with it she travels all over the world and mets different animals groups of people. She even travels to the under water world and one day even to the moon just to see if the man on the moon exists.
By the way she also meets people around her area.

This is only the story back ground the little girl is alwas going on adventures but am not in the mood to write at the moment.
