I remember that Rotimi Amaechi constructed the section from Igwuruta to boundary with Owerri. (The said road passes through Ubima, his hometown but it is a Federal Road).

A lot of Federal roads are bad, an example i[b]s Ihiala-Orlu road. This road is used by travelers going to Akwa-Ibom, Calabar, Ebonyi etc. Another [/b]Road is the East West Road section from Warri to Port Harcourt. That road has taken too long to complete. The list is endless.

PLEASE tell me the road Abia State constructed. Is it from Aba to Okigwe or where? That state, with Kogi are plaqued with bad leaders The federal road from Aba Road in Port Harcourt to Umuahia is bad(correct me if I am wrong).

Again, From Uyo (boundary with Cross River State) to Calabar federal highway is bad. That road is a death trap.

The Ihialla-Orlu--Akwa-Ibom-Cross River road is long due for dualization given the volume of traffic it carries.

Nigeria's civil war was won for northern region of Nigeria.

Since the past 25 years, Eastern Nigerians, and to a lesser degree, the southwest region, have been asking for a democratic restructuring of the country and its political process, but the north has continued to use its undue parliamentary over-representation to spurn restructuring. OBJ and GEJ governments tried restructuring, no result.

In a nutshell, any Igbo still clamoring for restructuring of Nigeria is "ogbu oge," - time waster. And they are mainly these Igbos who built landed property or have businesses in other parts of Nigeria outside the east.

For those Igbos, it is what they gain in their lifetime, not what shall be the prospects of their offspring in Nigeria.

Since 2011, Rochas has refused to repair the one km road leading to the teaching hospital because he has the ulterior motive to trade the hospital with Owerri so that Owerri shall allow him fully own Eastern Palm University which he built in his hometown, Ogboko, while sitting as governor of Imo state.

Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha has told former governor of the state, Chief Achike Udenwa to remain in Abuja because Imo people will stone him if he enters the state.


The governor said Udenwa was a failure who achieved nothing after eight years as governor of the state.

Okorocha was reacting to an interview where Udenwa described Okorocha as a colossal failure whose projects in the state were usually cosmetic and often collapsed before completion.


Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, Okorocha said Udenwa was a broke politician seeking attention.

He said, “Udenwa ruled Imo State for eight good years; let him come and show Imo people what he did for them those years. It is not enough to criticise; the facts are there.

“In the case of Okorocha, he has been in office for barely seven years and has over 1000 projects and still counting. Anybody who comes to Imo will see that he has changed the face of the state.


“Okorocha is a grassroots man and Imo people like him because they know he has their interests at heart. Most of his investments even before he became the governor are in Imo State.

“If you come to Imo State and criticise Okorocha, the masses will stone you. It is only the elite in Imo State that are not happy with him and we all know why. Udenwa who is talking, live in Abuja and does not even know what is happening in Imo State.

“If he comes to Imo State, he cannot criticise Okorocha because the people will come after him.

“You could not have governed Imo for eight years with nothing to show and you are criticising Okorocha whose projects have transformed the state and even a blind man can see them.”

Udenwa today walks the streets of Orlu and rest of Imo state free.

After 2019 May 29, if Okorocha leaves Orlu the way it is now, Okorocha may not walk the streets of Imo state, especially Orlu, without getting stoned.

Udenwa established a university teaching hospital in Orlu zone, Okorocha in October 2016 established a committee headed by Acho Ihim to relocate the teaching hospital from Orlu to Owerri, because Okorocha wants to trade the hospital with Owerri for Owerri to leave Okorocha to fully own Eastern Palm University in Ogboko.

Orlu has had no stadium since Okorocha dismantled Orlu stadium rebuilt by Udenwa.
Okorocha watches since 2011 as most of the urban roads built in Orlu by Udenwa got washed away, no maintenance.

I may not like Rochas Okorocha, but I respect his children for the courses they are studying. The other son in UK also has BS and Masters from Imperial college....a school comparable to MIT in USA. You cannot enter these school without having distinctions in all subjects. I know because a friend applied with all distinctions and still got rejected. I love children who are hard working, intelligent despite their father's money. You just have to be naturally brilliant to excel in engineering. No amount billions given to you will help.

But. Okorocha is a most wicked governor in Nigeria. He pretends he doesn't see the sufferings of the people in his state.
