AnamCity:That's beautiful. |
Okay, now Awka has flyovers. So Awka is now a big city.Lol. Lack of appropriate understanding of what makes a city. Misplaced priority. How much traffic circulates Awka in a day? Flyover where a roundabout could have been okay. |
Abagworo:As you post your carnival in Owerri on NL, tens of thousands of residents in Orlu have been breathing dust into their lungs for the fourth year from roads scrapped by Okorocha contractors. God forbid the day the St Joseph Catholic Church flood causes calamity in Orlu, you can't lie that it's a federal project. Federal government must tell you that urban drainage system in a state is not the responsibility of the federal government. Imo state government under Ikwechegh started the drainage gutter in Orlu but couldn't finish it before the governor was redeployed. You told us last two months that the replacement for Orlu stadium shall be inaugurated this December. Where is it after four years? Wishing you happy carnival. |
Abagworo:Lots of Orlu urban roads had asphalt for the first time during Udenwa administration, example: Alhaji Tijani street, Umuna road, Owus Avenue, Asika Ilobi Avenue, Bank road, about 5km road from International Market to New Orlu-Owerri road, about 3km Oleme road from Alhaji Tijani street to New Orlu-Owerri road, the about 5km old Orlu-Owerri road that stopped at Nkwume Y-Junction; the teaching hospital road; the road from Okporo Housing estate to Amaifeke or Ihioma - (I have had no reason to reach the end of this road) ... and the many other urban roads in Orlu done by Udenwa. - all not maintained again I am not talking about the many urban roads done by NDDC here - not maintained again. Federal roads: Under Udenwa govt; the federal road from Ihialla through Orlu to Amaigbo with a Y to Anara and Amaraku was done. the Orlu-Owerri road was done, the Orlu-Akokwa road was done. the Orlu-Okporo-Mgbidi-Oguta road was done Unfortunately, most of these roads have deteriorated from lack of maintenace. Udenwa's sin in Orlu is not completing the Orlu urban drainage project started by former governor Ikwechegh. You brag that Rochas govt did up to 5km roads in Orlu. Somebody has challenged you to name any other project from Rochas govt in Orlu, except School of Hygiene. |
Abagworo:I told you about near-equal urbanization levels between Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe in 1976 when Imo state was created but you talk about the administrative status of Owerri then and beyond. Is there any correlation between the level of urbanization and administrative status of a town? If there is, Onitsha or Calabar for example, should have been more urbanized today than say, Abuja. Only touts swear with their descendants. Even if the urban roads Okorocha government did in Orlu measure up to 5 kilometres, as you claim, so what? Considering the large expanse of Orlu urban town, that is like a drop of water in the sea. Visit Orlu, its urban roads are mostly fully built on both sides with houses with unpaved roads, but not dangerous because the roads' surfaces were not scrapped and abandoned. Even the many roads built by Udenwa administration and NDDC here are left by Okorocha government to rot away without maintenance. What is being highlighted here and elsewhere is the necessity to save thousands of people in Orlu the possible eruption of lung diseases as they have been inhaling dust from the roads scrapped by Okorocha contractors in the last four years. Centje who recently brought pictures from Orlu sounds like a medical doctor or another sort of health worker, ask him/her the implications for a population subjected to prolonged inhalation of dust from scrapped roads. |
Abagworo:A town of Orlu's level? If you are truly from Imo state, you ought to know that in 1976 when Imo state was created, there were little or no differences between the levels of urbanization between Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe. You and your principal seriously believe that a state capital must have all major development infrastructures in a state Okorocha got more votes in Orlu urban local government than from any other local government area. Considering that, the about 2 kilometres urban roads he dualized in Orlu and placed street lamp poles on some trips only a few persons who have not seen dual carriage roads before in Orlu. Or name any other infrastructure from Okorocha government in Orlu? Water supply?. It was Orlu's turn to have the regional water supply project which Ohakim was promising to start. Okorocha knew this but quickly proscribed government supply of pipe borne water when he came in as governor. All we plead with Okorocha government for now is asphalt the roads his contractors scrapped which are sending dust into people's lungs in Orlu in the last four years. |
Abagworo:This is the Amaigbo road side of the road to IMSUTH. The Old Orlu-Owerri road side of the IMSUTH road is also like this side in the last four years. Didn't you hear demonstrating IMSUTH students last two months or so complaining that the road to their hospital is not motorable for years, and that they had complained to government but no solution? Centje said he went to IMSUTH through an off-shoot road, so he couldn't have seen the two worse entries to the IMSUTH road. |
Abagworo:That Orlu stadium was there even before Udenwa was born. It is not in Udenwa's village. Udenwa government merely upgraded it and renamed it Sam Okwaraji Stadium in memory of late footballer Sam Okwaraji. It has always been called Orlu Township Stadium, even before Udenwa was born. Udenwa is from Amaifeke - a part of Orlu urban local government area. Stop talking what you don't know much about because you want to earn a living. |
Abagworo:Stop lying about vandalization of a sports stadium. Where on earth had a sports stadium been vandalized and roofs carted away? No body was caught? Truth, Okorocha came into office and one of his earliest acts was set up a commission of inquiry to find out why and how the stadium was built in Orlu. Hardly had the commission tendered its report when Okorocha contractors dismantled the stadium. |
centje:Abagworo is too much that he can't even accept he lied, even after he is shown with pictures that he was lying. The stadium Abagworo showed in picture was never the Sam Okwaraji Stadium, Orlu, at any stage. |
centje:@Centje; Don't mind Abagworo, you got the Old Orlu-Owerri road correct. That's one of the many abandoned roads in Orlu through which tens of thousands of inhabitants risk lung diseases from inhaling dust for about three years running. The portion of the road you have in your picture is the beginning side of the road close to the Kalamazoo house. The left side was asphalted for about 500 meters for over three years, but the remaining 4 kilometres or so of the road to Y-junction in Nkume remains dust in dry season and mud in rainy season. |
rozayx5:I even suspect the handle "Cleverly" is one of those our efulefu Igbo in Lagos APC who have lost touch with the reality that core north of Nigeria is poised to hold onto power in Nigeria through APC, perhaps for the next fifty years. |
Lol, who expects the president to be unable to defend himself of allegations of corrupt practices? So Retired Dasuki then was Nigeria Army Pay Roll officer as well as National Security Adviser!!! Laughable entitlements paid by Dasuki. |
Sijo01:Na changi na. Besides, Nigeria was created to fail. The earlier it collapsed finally, the earlier regions find a means for survival. |
Lol, it looks like a scene from another world. |
Duru1:Kizito Ezeji must be Abagworo on Facebook. @Centje, At Orlu local government hqs, pls ask for directions to all those areas I enumerated: The old Orlu-Owerri road; Amaigbo road at St. Joseph's junction, Teaching hospital road; TESAC to St. Joseph's Catholic church road, Morning Star Girls Secondary school road, road from St Joseph to International market. They are all within five minutes drive or okada ride to reach from the lga hqs. Ask the locals about their feelings over the dismantled stadium. You may hear some tearful tales. |
Abagworo:Indirectly you have shown that the Orlu stadium was not at that foundation stage before it was dismantled by Gov. Okorocha, as you falsely alleged earlier. The stadium was complete except laying the tracks. It would pay your good friend Okorocha if he restores the stadium to how he met it in 2011. That Okorocha believes he has political enemies - EVILS - in Orlu cannot make him demolish a stadium, scrape roads in Orlu and move Imo state to become Owerri. |
guruvick:Yeah, we are mostly Catholic here. No body worships the statue, but the statue is used as remembrance for Christ Merry Christmas to all. |
Abagworo:You showed the foundation stage of the Orlu stadium. Google the VAST Construction link I showed, that will show you the completed stadium up to commissioning point by Obasanjo after which Okorocha appointed a kangaroo commission of inquiry to find out why and how the stadium was built. The Commission could hardly submit its report when Okorocha contractors started to dismantle the roofs of the stadium. .What level of hate for a place on earth could motivate a human being to dismantle a sports stadium built in the place? Every youth in Orlu couldn't have been EVIL also for Okorocha. As you lie to get paid for now, remember retributive justice that must follow. |
Nigeria of inequality. Bullet-proof cars keee!! A leader who truly served or serves his people who elected him needs no bullet-proof vehicles to move among his people. |
Ha ha ha. Bullet proof cars for former hos. If a real gangland goons want you, bullet-proof cars can't save you. |
obasiken:Jonah made the right moves forward and left office; but Nigerians said they love backward movement. Nigerians thus sent Jonah packing. Now the new president who Nigerians voted for is truly taking them backward - - Probe this, probe that, instead of using what he finds on ground to create wealth for Nigerians. |
centje:To show between Abagworo and I who has been lying: please bring piksures of: 1; old Orlu-Owerri road, 2; Amaigbo road, especially the St.Joseph's Catholic church junction, 3; Teaching hospital road - two entry points dilapidated, 4; TESAC to St Joseph's Catholic church road, 5; Morning Star Girls Secondary school road; 6; Road from St. Joseph's Catholic church to International market. People living along these roads have been breathing dust in the last three years plus since the surface of the roads were scrapped by Okorocha contractors and abandoned. Get also the dismantled stadium in Orlu. Also get any praiseworthy development by Okorocha in Orlu, if there is any at all. |
MyGeneration:Not surprised, you love to be shown the wrong direction at any turn. |
MyGeneration:Abagworo showed the foundation stage of the stadium in Orlu, not the completed stadium. Abagworo, you live through lying. Who takes in the lies you spread online? Note that Okorocha had started the dismantling of the stadium at Orlu, hence NFA refused it. Google VAST ORLU STADIUM to see the site that takes you to see the completed stadium in Orlu; the stadium was commissioned by former president Obasanjo and dedicated to Sam Okwaraji, but later dismantled by Okorocha govt. Since the dismantling of the stadium about four years ago, no organized sports have taken place in Orlu, but Okorocha has built three stadium-like structures in Owerri. But the question: how could a governor dismantle an existing stadium in his state without building a substitute? |
The quotation: " I freed some slaves, but would have freed many others if they knew they were slaves." One Nigeria of unequal partners ahoy. Those who stole Nigeria dry during the 80s and 90s were never treated like this. |
Abagworo:Abagworo, 1, as at 2011, old Owerri road, Orlu had asphalt on it and was motorable with a few bad spots. 2; narrower roads? What does a town whose economy is being deliberately stifled by a state governor need dual carriage ways from the same state governor for? When that Amaigbo road was red as shown, Orlu''s economy was on, with very large population of people living in the town; unlike now. 3; you don't seem to know Amaigbo road. Okorocha government dualized Amaigbo road from beginning to St. Joseph's Catholic church - a distance of about 500 meters. Amaigbo road starts at the junction with Enugu road. 4; four other major roads dualized in Orlu totalled about 1.5 km, the so-called street lights hardly glow light Point to any other development infrastructure Okorocha government brought to Orlu in four years. Why must he show such disdain for parts of a state he was elected to govern? You told us that the replacement for the Orlu stadium dismantled by Okorocha shall be ready by December this year. December is almost finishing If Okorocha continues with this his Owerri frenzy, and rest of Imo state, especially from Orlu rise in anger any day, he may be forced to vacate his office. Ask again, how can a state governor watch for about four years as citizens from some part of his state breathe dust from roads the governor scrapped, while the governor builds new roads in parts of the state capital not inhabited by humans? |
Abagworo:The same total of 2km dual carriage ways built by Okorocha in Orlu in his early days as governor - that's what you have been showing since 2013. Your blind spots are the most important old Orlu-Owerri road, all-important drainage system and Amaigbo road, TESAC, Morning Star Girls secondary school roads, Teaching Hospital road, and other roads scrapped and abandoned in Orlu by Okorocha govt for about four years running. Tell, how could a governor watch his subjects in Orlu breathe dust for more than four years, yet he is building new roads in Owerri in areas where no body lives? No governor in Nigeria has ever had the heart to do that. You said Udenwa built a sub-standard teaching hospital in Orlu? Lol; So Okorocha is planning to remove it to Owerri? Don't forget that in three years time, Okorocha's tenure shall end. If you come to Orlu you shall see the suffering of the people - live. |
Who does that Davido think he is? |
MyGeneration:I spend more these days on hospital bills helping my Orlu people who are increasingly having respiratory problems arising from breathing dust for close to four years. My people do not have to carry placards to Owerri to remind a human being of a governor that he cannot afford to scrape roads in where thousands of people live on both sides, and make thousands of people in Orlu breathe dust in four years running. The governor and many of you Imolites shouting "Alleluia Owerri the mega city" are supposed to know the implications of having people in Orlu breathe dust for four years. That's wickedness. |
Booboo govt is intent on making a thief of everybody loyal to Jonathan. |
MyGeneration:I can't be proud of Owerri having 90% of development in Imo state in Okorocha's government; while tens of thousands of my people in Orlu have been breathing dust in the last four years, dust from road surfaces scratched and abandoned by Rocha contractors for four years running. People who breathe dust risk dying of lung cancer, while Okorocha is building his mega city - Owerri; while Okorocha is building new roads in areas of Owerri where people do not even live in. |
