Four years going, thousands of citizens living on the two sides of roads scraped in Orlu by Okorocha government have been breathing dust into their lungs.

This is a horror story. All pleas, begging, criticism, kneeling down, etc before Gov Okorocha to cover the roads with asphalt - no success; four years plus.

But the gov rather builds and asphalts new roads in areas where no one is yet living in Owerri.

How can one define this?

Okorocha, Okorocha, Okorocha, don't be hard-hearted.

Please pour black paint, if you can't find asphalt on the many roads scraped in Orlu by your contractors nearing four years.


Do you want to witness mass deaths of people dying from long inhalation of dust in Orlu? What crime have they committed against you?

Wellie is not working Jack, I'm currently serving in anmabra state. These flyovers are quite unnecessary (except that of aroma junction) because the roads in awka are tiny and substandard. Awka looks like a village and he's busy building flyover on the express.

The flyover project is just eye service, he should have enlarged roads in awka, build pedestrian walkway and upgrade the city generally.

Total waste of money for now.

Lol, some folks - too many of them in the east - look at Lagos fly overs and tend to see fly over as a sign of development.

These folks literally coerce their usually less-educated governors to build them fly overs in their state capital, even where a good round about should have been okay, instead of building expensive and obstructive flyovers
In the other parts of the same state where eye-catching flyovers are being built in the state capital, flood waters carry houses due to absence of urban or rural drainage system. Imo state is an example.

30% of government development infrastructure can go to Owerri the state capital, while 70% should be for the other 24 lgas. But Okorocha, as told by his deputy three months ago, devoted 75% of the state's capital development projects in Owerri alone in four years. Because Okorocha has his businesses and palatial home in Owerri. The rest of Imo state remains poor with no real government development infrastructure to boost their economics


If every Imo person of means does like the present governor - go to build permanent residence in Owerri and treat the rest of the state like villages, like Okorocha does - before long., Owerri city shall become over crowded

Rochas Okorocha doesn't use the Orlu-Ihialla road.

IMSUTH is the only project that fetches a few government Naira into Orlu. The only road that led to IMSUTH has remained non-pliable since Rochas came to office. Alas, IMSUTH has been reduced to not admitting students again.

See as them de showcase spreading government development in the three principal towns of Anambra state. But in Imo, development is only for Owerri.
