Nigeria needs more universities. I can not imagine there aren't up to 2,000 universities(Ivy leagues) and 1,000 other higher institutions of learning in a nation with such a huge population. *Ptui!

With a population approaching 170million people, Nigeria needs at least 50 more universities that can take up to 50,000 students each. A well-educated population is very easier to govern than a population of mostly dumbos.

Jonah spineless: by conceding to an ex-coupist, he undersigned the phenomenon of soldiers overthrowing a civilian govt, and after ruling, the soldier comes back in a democracy to be voted president. It is unbelievable that Jonah spineless did not see the danger he is leaving the country in. Unbelievable that he has no Plan B to leave Nigeria in better hands.

Orlu people should be grateful to God for allowing Okoeocha finish most of their roads before Jonathan started the financial attack against Nigeria. I have to say it now that many projects in Nigeria will stay abandoned for a while as we can barely pay our civil servants at all levels. States should focus on how to make money than how to spend it. The jamboree of impressionism is over.

Orlu-Umouwa-Nkwume Y Junction road - about 6km - remains scrapped;

TESAC to St. Joseph's Chiurch Road - about 2km remains scrapped;

Girls Secondary School (formerly Morning Star Girls Secondary School) - Orlu Road, about 1km remains scarapped;

Amorji-Umudiatu Road about 1km remains scrapped.

There are others.

Close to 50,000 people living on both sides of these roads have been breathing dust in the last three and half years.

Lung cancer is the possible utcome of inhaling dust for a long time.

Do you, Abagworo, want Okorocha to commit mass murder in Orlu with your stance? Tufiakwa. We are watching.

A campus of Alvan Ikoku College of Education was opened in Orlu by Mbakwe government in the 1980s after spending millions of Naira to realize the campus.

As soon as Mbakwe left office, the Orlu campus was closed down, and students became massed up again in Owerri.

If the Orlu campus was allowed, today it would have helped to accommodate more for the now upgraded AIFCE.

Looks like in Imo state, there is a conspiracy by all that no other zone outside the state capital must have a university located in it.

In Orlu zone of 12 Lgas and with most of the population in Imo state, except secondary schools, the only fully govt run school is School for The Deaf, Blind and Mentally Handicapped at Orlu.

Yeah, Prof. Onwuliri from Owerri zone is a great politician.

This now is the third government university in Owerri which also hosts a Fed Poly - and Imopoly a stone throw from Owerri. Total of five govt unis and polys in in Imo state in one town - Owerri of 9 Lgas.

Are Orlu zone politicians, including Rochas Okorocha, not only after their private pockets --- since time immemorial?

If Jonathan were to be from north, Nigeria would have been in turmoil since the last election, after which a soldier would come to take over Nigeria.

Will northern Nigeria religious extremism ever stop in Nigeria?

Guess how many billions of Naira annually of other wise development money which Nigeria puts into fighting northern Nigeria religious militants.

So long as crude oil flows in the Niger delta, Yoruba will not agree that beginning year 2000, some 12 northern states adopted sharia criminal codes; Yoruba will not accept that BH has minced no words that it is fighting for a country friendly with sharia criminal codes.

As long as crude oil flows in the Niger delta, Yoruba will not calculate that there is no difference in what BH is fighting for and what 12 northern states started in 2000 when they adopted sharia criminal codes.

Therefore Yoruba will not see that those 12 northern sharia states had indirectly drawn a borderline for their new country.

Instead, Yoruba keeps on attacking the southeast people when SE people look far and make moves for new Biafra.
