Enugu remains the best planned of the SE cities.

Op Orlu is yet to be a city, mind you I am from orlu so I know what I am saying.

Op wrote TOWNS and cities - not only cities.

Orlu was denied state capital by Abacha admin which dropped a seventh state in the NW zone.

Delta state style of Asaba and Warri is like it in Imo state. Only that Orlu is slower than Warri.

Number one time bomb is Buhari ever ignoring to political restructuring of Nigeria to enable near equal political representation between the two old British Protectorates later amalgamated to form Nigeria.

Northern soldiers later proliferated 19 states+Abuja in once one region north, but left only 17 states in the once three regions south. The present political structure leaves the south of Nigeria as mere appendage of a northern master country.

Three Senators are derived from every state. Thus the north nearly decides whatever can happen in Nigeria.

In no federal country was landmass or population used to create new federating units (states) like in Nigeria.
At the end of states creation in Nigeria, what we should have been having is equal multiples of states from the existing federating units that existed when states started to be created.

Imagine soldiers rising in say the US, and dividing large state of California or Texas into many more states; resulting to more legislative representatives from California or Texas sent to the US Congress, as well as take more US revenues to the new states.

It is foul play to continue since 1999 to use a non-democratically crafted political structure to determine the outcome of a democratic presidential election.

Obssanjo started political restructuring, could not finish. Yar Adua could not take up political restructuring because of obvious reasons that the extant political structure favours the far north most.
Goodluck Jonathan started very late with restructuring in his CONFAB.

A democratically crafted political structure is the first thing Nigeria needs to concord before a new constitution or amending the 1999 constitution supervised by machine gun bearing northern soldiers.

There was northern protectorate and southern protectorate at the beginning.

Before states started to be created, there was only one northern region; there were three southern regions, before Ironsi's unitary government system, the regions did not wholly depend on Lagos the seat of power for sustenance. Unitary government system was later gradually made too over-centralized and became as monstrous and unworkable as it is now.

States were not created for tribes.

The first booby-trap waiting for Buhari is ignoring the political restructuring of Nigeria, restructuring which was started by Obssanjo, ignored by late Yar'Adua for reasons that the existing political structure favours the north, but restructuring continued by Jonathan's CONFAB - though belated. The political restructuring of the CONFAB yet to be implemented. When implemented, CONFAB political restructuring shall go a long way to close the yawning gap in political representation between the north and south of Nigeria.

If Buhari is not keen on restructuring Nigeria's political structure created by northern soldiers which leaves the far north an overwhelming political representation compared to little representation for the entire south of Nigeria, the time has come to return regional government system with fiscal federalism to Nigeria - as was before the present unitary government system was introduced followed by states getting created.

Having a whooping 19 states+Abuja in the once one region north of Nigeria, but only 17 states in the once three regions south of Nigeria is the greatest fraud that now leaves the north the capacity to determine whatever is going to take place in Nigeria.
Land mass or population is never used as criterion in any federal country to create new federating units as was used to create Nigeria's states.
What should have been at the end of states creation in Nigeria is having equal multiples of states from the existing federating units that existed when states started to be created.
Imagine soldiers rising in say, the US and divided the states of California and Texas into many more states to get more revenues to California or Texas areas, as well as sending more legislators from California or Texas to the US Congress!! That's exactly like what northern soldiers did in Nigeria when they created Nigeria's states. North of Nigerians was arbitrarily proliferated by northern soldiers with new states - new federating units without taking recourse to history of the existing federating units before states started to be created.

At the beginning in 1914, British northern and southern protectorates in West Africa were merged to get today's Nigeria. But today, states creation by northern soldiers have turned southern Nigeria to a mere appendage, or even a colony of the northern protectorate.

You made APC alliance to cheat the Igbo and rest of south south.

You made alliance to continue quota system where an Igbo scores 90% in an entrance exam, but is denied admission for a northern who scored 10%.

The main objective of the pilots of your APC alliance was to take total control of oil and gas revenues that flow from the SS and SE; so after Buhari victory, Igbos, the largest single ethnic group in Nigeria need to rush in to neutralize the bad intentions of the pilots of APC. You can cry a river. You can't subjugate the largest single ethnic group in a country with whatever crude alliance you formed.
And mind you, if not that Jonathan was no longer keen on continuing to be president, your alliance wouldn't have worked.

You need to weigh the Figures allocated to Jonathan and PDP in 2011, to really appreciate our work down here. The fact, is that Jonathan would have won the election, without those people he mentioned! It was a total war during the March 28 election in the South East, most of APC supporters properties were destroyed, they were humiliated, just because they stood their ground and didn't allow PDP, write the results as they wanted.

As a fact, I will like you to watch out for 2019 elections in the South east to really appreciate the effort of 2015.

In conclusion, don't use the figures allocated to Buhari to judge our efforts! Only Buhari could appreciate!

During the last campaign, I found it difficult to believe that NgeneUkwenu was truly Igbo.

Now that Buhari is all Nigeria got for your Change slogan - in a Nigeria awash with young, healthy and very well educated professionals, including Harvard and MIT graduates - we remain posted to observe what your Change to Buhari shall fetch you and Nigeria.
