tp10:A lame duck presidency it may turn out to be, given the way things are going. It is not enough to win elections by using all sorts of falsehood as propaganda, by using vilolrnce to blackmail the populace to believe that the incumbent president was weak in national security.. It is more important to rule a contented people after the win. |
[quote author=umarc19 post=33760169]SS can never find any man loved outside their region as Amaechi. They keep making him a hero in our eyes. Amaechi stand for the truth. He's our hero! That fat okirika cow should expect wike to come after her in the few months he's going to spend in the office before the court sends him packing. -Caseless, April 15 2015.[/quote Only your Sharia court can send Wike packing after May 29. Perhaps after that, you and Rivers people may no longer belong to one country. Unrepentant Islamist. Where were you when your 12 northern states drew the border of Arewa sharia country as they unconstitutionally adopted sharia criminal justice system to the existing common laws in their states? Adoption of sharia criminal laws implied that the 12 northern states had opted out of Nigeria. |
midolian:If you had common sense: Amaechi is a lion poised to eat up Ubima. Amaechi was routed by GEJ in Rivers state and in the entire SS. Amaechi revolutionized against his SS people. Amaechi's common sense was for Tinubu's revolution to hand Nigeria to SW's Alimi masters. |
Even with APC win, Amaechi is still in trouble with the Rivers people. He is pursuing a private agenda injurious to majority of the Rivers people. |
Forwetinnah:The old tortoise escaped the hangman in Abacha's Gashua prison by a hair's breath. Na today? |
Taylor86:Report of National underdevelopment. For decades, Fulani/Yoruba had exchanged the highest office in Nigeria, but what do we have? Underdevelopment. Arrested development. And worse, the two groups are not ashamed of the arresested development, so long as they still get revenues from crude oil in the Niger delta. A few years ago, W.Soyjnka said his was a wasted generation. Hausa-Fulani/Yoruba leaders of Nigeria wasted the generation. |
Obssanjo, that conspiracy of you people against others in Nigeria has fallen flat even while you are alive. You people do not even hide the fact that you take the SE and SS areas of Nigeria as conquered estates since the 1970s. A new wave of stronger resistance to you peoples' design has just begun, and must be driven to its logical conclusion. |
Amaechi helped Tinubu to consign Nigeria to the hands of Tinubu's comrades in Islamic sharia criminal laws from the north of Nigeria. That's why Amaechi is branded common sense hero by Tinubu. See Tinubu dem sense, see their self-assigned name - sophisticated. Baba Buhari romances with sharia criminal laws for all of Nigeria. Any time Baba moves that any state legislature can pass a law for implementation of sharia criminal laws in the state, Tinubu's Yoruba states shall be the earliest to be in flames given the religious mix of the SW. |
Muazu means most non trust worthy. |
Lol Govt of geriatrics - Buhari, Tam D. West, Tinubu, Lai Mohammed. etc, etc. Don't need to foretell the unfruitful ending. Besides, why is the Buhari camp still doing political campaign? Do the Buharis have an inner feeling that the camp did not truly win the mandate of majority of Nigerians? |
OBJ loved Gashua Prisons. Let OBJ foundation send the Trustees to Gashua. |
braine:OBJ an Gashua prisons. He was saved by a hair's breath. Next on line? |
Jennynkk:SE merits a sixth state. Anyone who has no clue about what absence of a sixth state in the SE is denying the Igbo and the entire south of Nigeria needs to visit a talakawa in Kaduna for lessons on: Political Development in Nigeria 101. |
adeitoro:Op wrote TOWNS and cities - not only cities. Orlu was denied state capital by Abacha admin which dropped a seventh state in the NW zone. Delta state style of Asaba and Warri is like it in Imo state. Only that Orlu is slower than Warri. |
enoqueen:I went through all your 29 topics you posted on NL, the maximum number of responses per topic was three; except the one of last Val day with 45 responses where you said some one's husband wasn't talking to her on Val day because the woman annoyed the husband the previous night; and the woman did not know what to do on that Val day to make her husband make sexx with her. One can bet 95% of one's money that you must be the woman in the discourse above. What does that suggest? You have little grey matter upstairs. |
enoqueen:In bold: Your brain works like the brain of a fowl. Perhaps someone was not served food and complained, the wedding lady had to go to dish the food out by herself. |
makzeze:The Only Nigerians that can be trusted are the ones who accept that Nigeria's political structure and constitution were fashioned by non-democratic means - by soldiers from the northern area of the country - and therefore the political structure and constitution need to be refashioned through a democratic means as started by OBJ and continued by GEJ. |
mekadinho:One of the most expensive propaganda -producing companies in the US was rented by APC during the last presidential election campaign. APC states governors must have been contributing to the company. |
FreeGlobe:Since Okorocha joined APC, he abandoned the projects he started. In some areas in his state, roads scrapped in the last four years remain with dust. People have been breathing dust since then in dry season, they may develop lung cancer. Okorocha doesn't care. One reason they voted him again is to have him complete the numerous projects he started, so as not have monumental waste in the state. |
Number one time bomb is Buhari ever ignoring to political restructuring of Nigeria to enable near equal political representation between the two old British Protectorates later amalgamated to form Nigeria. Northern soldiers later proliferated 19 states+Abuja in once one region north, but left only 17 states in the once three regions south. The present political structure leaves the south of Nigeria as mere appendage of a northern master country. Three Senators are derived from every state. Thus the north nearly decides whatever can happen in Nigeria. In no federal country was landmass or population used to create new federating units (states) like in Nigeria. At the end of states creation in Nigeria, what we should have been having is equal multiples of states from the existing federating units that existed when states started to be created. Imagine soldiers rising in say the US, and dividing large state of California or Texas into many more states; resulting to more legislative representatives from California or Texas sent to the US Congress, as well as take more US revenues to the new states. It is foul play to continue since 1999 to use a non-democratically crafted political structure to determine the outcome of a democratic presidential election. Obssanjo started political restructuring, could not finish. Yar Adua could not take up political restructuring because of obvious reasons that the extant political structure favours the far north most. Goodluck Jonathan started very late with restructuring in his CONFAB. A democratically crafted political structure is the first thing Nigeria needs to concord before a new constitution or amending the 1999 constitution supervised by machine gun bearing northern soldiers. |
handsometokunbo:Your last paragraph: you wish Buhari will fail woefully but still be voted in by northerners and westerners out of sheer tribalism and wickedness after 4 years. In other words, northerners and westerners cultivate failed leaders because of sheer tribalism and wickedness. That's true. No wonder that in Nigeria with all manners of young, healthy and very well educated people, including Harvard graduates, all that northerners and westerners joined to produce for Nigeria as president is Buhari who led Nigeria before but failed and was overthroewn. All that northerners and westerners joined to establish in Nigeria is a legacy that any serving soldier can overthrow a civilian government, rule the country, acquire wealth and fame, retire or be overthrown, then come back when democracy is restored to ask to become HoS again, then you vote him to become president. Please be ready to leave the SS and SE alone and form such your backward country of northerners and westerners to be sustained by groundnut and cocoa proceeds, |
porka:Buhari even went to the extent of telling them that Abacha was not corrupt, Abacha was not only his role model. Yet they used SW media to paint Buhari as an Angel because of their ethnic and religious bigotry. Let's agree fuel scarcity was postponed by Jonathan through fuel subsidies. But which miracle shall Buhari use to fight fuel scarcity? |
kettykin:One Nigeria of madness incorporated - blood shed as the sign post. The north and south areas of Nigeria must have witnessed more development than it is now if they were not amalgamated into one country. The colonial master must be watching through HD now - and laughing out loud. |
GodMode:There was northern protectorate and southern protectorate at the beginning. Before states started to be created, there was only one northern region; there were three southern regions, before Ironsi's unitary government system, the regions did not wholly depend on Lagos the seat of power for sustenance. Unitary government system was later gradually made too over-centralized and became as monstrous and unworkable as it is now. States were not created for tribes. |
The first booby-trap waiting for Buhari is ignoring the political restructuring of Nigeria, restructuring which was started by Obssanjo, ignored by late Yar'Adua for reasons that the existing political structure favours the north, but restructuring continued by Jonathan's CONFAB - though belated. The political restructuring of the CONFAB yet to be implemented. When implemented, CONFAB political restructuring shall go a long way to close the yawning gap in political representation between the north and south of Nigeria. If Buhari is not keen on restructuring Nigeria's political structure created by northern soldiers which leaves the far north an overwhelming political representation compared to little representation for the entire south of Nigeria, the time has come to return regional government system with fiscal federalism to Nigeria - as was before the present unitary government system was introduced followed by states getting created. Having a whooping 19 states+Abuja in the once one region north of Nigeria, but only 17 states in the once three regions south of Nigeria is the greatest fraud that now leaves the north the capacity to determine whatever is going to take place in Nigeria. Land mass or population is never used as criterion in any federal country to create new federating units as was used to create Nigeria's states. What should have been at the end of states creation in Nigeria is having equal multiples of states from the existing federating units that existed when states started to be created. Imagine soldiers rising in say, the US and divided the states of California and Texas into many more states to get more revenues to California or Texas areas, as well as sending more legislators from California or Texas to the US Congress!! That's exactly like what northern soldiers did in Nigeria when they created Nigeria's states. North of Nigerians was arbitrarily proliferated by northern soldiers with new states - new federating units without taking recourse to history of the existing federating units before states started to be created. At the beginning in 1914, British northern and southern protectorates in West Africa were merged to get today's Nigeria. But today, states creation by northern soldiers have turned southern Nigeria to a mere appendage, or even a colony of the northern protectorate. |
USAutoBuy:Let May 29 come fast so dat we shall see this your Buhari miracle. Buhari in the 1980s and in military background is not Buhari in his mid-70s in the 21st century and in a democratic Nigeria. |
literarymathy:Lol, 18 gallons you stored before Jonathan sent fuel scarcity mafia packing five years ago. It appears Jonathan is now angry over the way Nigerians treated him last election Jonathan defeated the fuel scarcity mafia that plagued Nigeria for decades, Nigerians resorted to call Jonathan clueless president. |
madamoringo:You made APC alliance to cheat the Igbo and rest of south south. You made alliance to continue quota system where an Igbo scores 90% in an entrance exam, but is denied admission for a northern who scored 10%. The main objective of the pilots of your APC alliance was to take total control of oil and gas revenues that flow from the SS and SE; so after Buhari victory, Igbos, the largest single ethnic group in Nigeria need to rush in to neutralize the bad intentions of the pilots of APC. You can cry a river. You can't subjugate the largest single ethnic group in a country with whatever crude alliance you formed. And mind you, if not that Jonathan was no longer keen on continuing to be president, your alliance wouldn't have worked. |
splashbaby:When you separate Igbo from rest of Southsouth, people who come from outside those areas to exploit sweet crude in the two areas face no strong challenger. This is the Divide-and-Rule tactic used to fu...ck oil areas of SS for decades. Do you think Igbo is lacking people who want to answer Igbo? |
NgeneUkwenu:During the last campaign, I found it difficult to believe that NgeneUkwenu was truly Igbo. Now that Buhari is all Nigeria got for your Change slogan - in a Nigeria awash with young, healthy and very well educated professionals, including Harvard and MIT graduates - we remain posted to observe what your Change to Buhari shall fetch you and Nigeria. |
Of all on the list, Chukwuma Soludo was merely looking for a job. |
About 90% of northerners made up their minds that power must return to the north. BH aided their resolved. |
