over sense Na kill u.... There's what we call line of reporting. G summit is not a summit for detailed interrogatory sessions. No need to bring the governor as if he came to attest the veracity of Buhari's report. He's useless in the summit. Follow it up n u will hardly see him holding a microphone. He hasn't told Nigerians what has happened in his state yet, how then can get tell the world?
My friend, he is not going to address the the leaders but to be a backup in the meeting or summit. So is also Fashola and the rest of the team Nigeria.

Myopic you say? May be canvassing amnesty for BH as the Governor have been saying is what makes sense to you and a contrary opinion must be from a myopic mind. What does a man who canvasses amnesty to a group of blood hungry terrorist that have killed so much and rendered many homeless have to say to an international assembly that does not believe in negotiating with terrorist not to talk about amnesty. His he going there to disgrace a young Government and our country by talking about amnesty for blood hungry terrorist?
I understand that the President being the Chief security officer going there to talk but not a man that gave WAEC a go ahead on the promise that he would provide adequate security for the students, but never did which led to the event " Chibok girls".

The next thing you would do is to call me another name .
Why would I call u names, am not like that. Your simply expressing your opinion. All I just said was pls open ur mind properly and weight the option here. PMB is the chief security officer of the republic for only a week now. He is just review the security situation and going by the discussion coupled with the demands the G7 required him to submit. If it required discussing what has been happening in the region the last 4years who better than the governor himself and also for other discussion on developments issues we have Fashola, fayemi and other economic developing team.

Dont mind clueless nigerians. Buhari went to discuss the security situation within nigerian in lieu of the bk insurgency and how the G7 can assist amidst other issues and they think shettima went there to drink champagne? Ben Murray bruce mus be a simpleton with a microphone to also talk like that. Shettima has first hand information vital to this issue since his state and region are under siege so he shouldn't be there? He has more live information with respect to this issue than even buhari.
Exactly, one of the reason am perplex as to how a learned person like Murray Bruce would be the one to make that statement.

Elaborating what? Is he elaborating to G7? Is Shettima one of the speaker in the summit? or is he going there to canvass for amnesty for BH? and to tell them that the military are committing genocide under GEJ regime? That Governor have nothing to do or offer at the summit. Actually "common sense is not common"
Maybe, but if had one you would understand that before military comes in to combat BH, people like the governor Needs to come in because of the massive collateral damage and aw to mitigate the effects of the war. Open ur mind pls and stop been myopic.

And pls in ur analysis which high ranking military or defence personnel do u see invited for the G7 summit and more over the so called defence officer who do they report security situations too?
Here is a many who has been at helm of affairs for 4 years and a newly elected president who is just been looped on security situation in the north east, would it not be better if he had the governor who has the requisite knowledge of the zone by his side to elaborate better for lasting solution. Much as I understand their grievances with the northern Sudan over wealth sharing. They were not ready for self governance and shld not have had the referendum in the first place. Their so called elders had the selfish interest of laying hands on the wealth for their enrichment at the detriment of their people. They should have solved or find a way to get more on wealth sharing in terms of allocation, development and education of citizenry by the Central gov't. A food for thought to my southern brothers. We may be facing challenges now, but our founding father were right about Nigeria and if they had any doubt about the country during colonial rule. Am sure they would not have sign to independent Nigeria. Let's all drop our personal grieves and let's sacrifice to make Nigeria work. We have a leader in who the mojarity masses entrust mantle of leadership, let's pray for them move on and become that great nation Nigeria was destined to be.

PoliticsRe: Incompetence, Nonchallance And Deceit Of Buhari's Presidency by mandhi(m): 6:15am On May 31, 2015
barcanista:
Let me start by congratulating President Muhammadu Buhari on his historic inauguration. That said, it is patriotic to call the President to order. As the President elect, Muhammadu Buhari shocked the world by insulting the sensibilities of Nigerians with respect to the Chibok girls. Just hours after his inauguration, the President showed in action that he's incompetent in his responsibilities and he again has insulted our collective responsibilities.

1. On May 29, 2015 just hours after his inauguration, there was an incident of Boko Haram attack in Maiduguri, Borno state which killed nine Nigerians. The attack threw a section of the country into grief and mourning, itwas widely reported inn the press. Despite the publicity of the attack, the President refused to issue any statement to condole the bereaved all through May 29. Rather, he was busy eating and drinking in "celebration" of his new position. This is the same man that "pledged" to lead from the front on February 25, 2015

Rather than lead from the "front", President Buhari had to wait for another attack in the same Maiduguri on May 30 before releasing statement.

2. Part of the pledge made by President Buhari during the electioneering period was public asset declaration. In the words of Buhari...

It was surprising however, that rather than public declaration of asset as promised, President Buhari and his vice followed the step of others by doing "secret" declaration with the code of conduct bureau. I find this insulting on the collective intelligence of Nigerians.

For avoidance of doubt, public declaration of asset is when an individual or entity disclose details of all their asset to the public beyond the mandatory CCB provision as was done by late Yaradua.

3. Few days after being declared President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari claimed that he never promised to bringbackchibokgirls. Now that he has been inaugurated, I believe it is patriotic to tell Mr President that not only is it his responsibility to BringTheGirls back, but it was part of his 100 Days pledge...

Earlier before the pledge was reported, Buhari was quoted by PUNCH on February 20, 2015 in which he specifically promised to bring back our girls.

President Buhari should understand that Nigerians are determined to hold his administration accountable. He should understand that we are not as gullible as he's been made to believe.

May God Bless Nigeria

Sirniyeh:
Please explain to me: what is House of representative doing different from Senate?

We waste resources a lot in this country. The money NASS consumes every year is almost 25% of the budget.

Tell me more
I concur with you that both house of reps and senate perform same function, but it has always been like that right from during the colonial period, budget during period did not sky rocket high as the NASS consuming 25% of the total budget.
Am not saying scrapping either house isn't a solution. But before we come to the option of scrapping them let's take actions like, eliminating ghost workers, collection of pension of the dead, eliminating ministries dat are duplicate of each other, down sizing aids and advisers of the these politicians in NASS,and cutting down their wages. If we exorst all avenue if reducing re current cost and it's still above 60%. Then maybe we begin to talk about scrapping one department.
They have their advantages. Its unfortunate they abused the advantage and made it the Nigerian dream, instead of a call to serve the nation.
GOD Bless Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Rivers LG Poll: Impunity And Arrogance Of Amaechi, Hypocrisy Of Apc/buhari by mandhi(m): 6:00am On May 27, 2015
barcanista:
Honestly, I don't know what outgoing Governor Amaechi and his praise singers seek to achieve by deliberately creating atmosphere of anarchy and trying to give "a sham" a new look.

One Year No Council Election
For ONE YEAR Governor Chibuike Amaechi and the Rivers state Independent electoral commission deliberately refused to conduct Local Government election after the expiration of the then incumbents' tenure. Instead of election, Amaechi constituted illegal Caretaker Committee for each of the 22 out of 23 LGA.(http://nationalmirroronline.net/new/rivers-amaechi-dissolves-21-local-councils/)

"No 90 Days Notice"
Statutorily, the Chairman of RSIEC Prof Augustine Ahiazu is to give a minimum of 90 day notice to all political parties prior to conducting LG election in Rivers state. This is to enable interested parties to prepare, conduct primaries, campaign and mobilise for vote. Instead of towing the path of the law, Prof Ahiazu the RSIEC Chairman on April 27, 2015 announced May 23, 2015 as the date for LG poll, which fell short of the 90-day notice and clearly illegal.

PDP and Amachi's Reaction
PDP rejected the so called poll and drew the attention of RSIEC that the law mandates the electoral commission to give a 90 day notice. It then went to the Federal High Court, Portharcourt division to stop the charade.

Amaechi on the other hand justified the RSIEC charade without recourse to the law. From his statement, it was clear that he was acting a script.

Court Adjourned, Orders Status Quo Be Maintaing
PDP approached the Federal High Court to restrain INEC, RSIEC and Rivers state government from conducting the charade. The Rivers SIEC, APC and Rivers state government were hell-bent on the charade, they ran to Court of Appeal to challenge the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court in hearing the suit filed by PDP. Justice Lambo Akanbi of the FHC adjourned the matter pending the outcome of the suit before the Appeal Court and rule that STATUS QUO ANTE be maintained.

INEC Complied With Ruling:
According to INEC Admin Secretary(Rivers), Mr Roy Oburu..

RSIEC, APC And Amaechi Charade
Despite the court restraint and the non availability of voters register from INEC (which is statutory), Amaechi through his puppet Prof Ahiazu went ahead with the charade and wasted almost N3 billion of Rivers state's scarce resources. They Allocated phantom results to themselves and the Governor in a public display of shame went ahead to swear in the product of the charade.

The Hypocritical APC, Buhari and "Right Activists"
In their usual hypocritical manner, the APC, President-elect Buhari and self titled "Right Activists" refused to condemn this open rape of democracy and the deliberate ploy to cause breakdown of law and order by Governor Amaechi, the APC and Prof Ahiazu. Is this the kind of change that APC is bringing where impunity is made sacred as long as they are the perpetrators?

The 3W Question:
What is the legitimacy of conducting an election without giving the statutory 90 day notice to political parties?

Where is the legitimacy in going ahead with LG poll despite court order to maintain status quo?

Where is the legitimacy in conducting election without INEC voters register which is statutory? Which register was used for the charade?

My good friend, am not a GEJ fan and I dislike his leadership style but I can tell u 1 thing, he did well in the agricultural sector cos even though rice is still imported, by way smuggling. We hav lots of rice mill scattered around nigeria. Coupled with the ban on importation of rice, u wld begin to feel the impact considering the incoming gov't hav hipped praises on this sector only. PoliticsRe: Buhari, Sanusi, APC Should Stop Deceiving Nigerians- Barcanista by mandhi(m): 3:18pm On May 14, 2015
barcanista:
Since I was born, I have never witness the kind of hypocrisy, double standard and demonisation that is currently perpetrated by Muhammadu Buhari, the APC, Alhaji Sanusi, Osinbajo and their "good governance crusaders" against the person of President Goodluck Jonathan, Allison Madekwe, and other government officials.

Alhajis Buhari and Sanusi and APC have been going about using every platform to talk about a "missing $20b", cheered by their hypocritical followers that pride themselves as good governance crusaders. They have deliberately gone blind over the fraud of CBN under Sanusi as outlined by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria report in February 2014.

Sanusi Indicted And Removed For Fraud
According to the report (see below) Sanusi was indicted for Gross Misconduct that bothers on fraud and financial recklessness among other offence. The FRCN subsequently advised Mr President to remove Lamido Sanusi from office for further investigation and probe after the explanation of Sanusi appeared more like a tale and outrightly illogical according to FRCN. The council indicates that the explanation provided by Sanusi is “a clear display of incompetence, nonchalance, fraud, wastefulness, and abuse of due process and deliberate efforts to misrepresent facts on the part of the leadership of the CBN.”

The council advised the President to exercise the powers conferred on him by Section 11(2)(f) of the CBN Act 2007 or invoke Section 11(2)(c) of the said Act “and cause the governor and the deputy governors to cease from holding office in the CBN.”

April 2014: VP-elect Yemi Osibanjo Filed Case To Stop Sanusi Probe
Rather than Sanusi to prove his innocence in court, he filed a case in Federal High Court, Lagos to STOP FRCN and Other Security Agencies from investigating and prosecuting him through three Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, Dr. Kanyinsola Ajayi and Kola Awodien.
http://www.theguardianmobile.com/readNewsItem1.php?nid=24587

13 May 2014: Lagos Judge Tshoho Grants Sanusi Prayers
High Court Judge John Tshoho rather than uphold the constitutional powers of FRCN to investigate probe Sanusi, he granted the prayers of Lamido Sanusi and BARRED FRCN from further investigation or probing Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. In his own words...
“Prejudice is very pronounced in the language of that document. The language of the briefing note (transmitted by the FRCN to the presidency) conveys a sense of the defendant desperately goading the presidency to deal with the plaintiff,”
“The plaintiff submitting himself for investigation (by FRCN) is like the cockroach finding itself in the midst of fowls. Such a cockroach cannot be innocent,”.

http://www.tv360nigeria.com/?p=11923

Despite the fact the President Jonathan commissioned PWC to audit NNPC books to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of Sanusi's claim, Buhari, APC, Sanusi and their online agents that parade themselves as good governance and anticorruption apostles have been crying blue murder but refused to comment on the FRCN report nor the APC's VP elect role in shielding Sanusi for probe.

April 26, 2015: Buhari's Display of Hypocrisy
In his usual hypocrisy, General Buahri vowed to re-visit the $20b allegation but said NOTHING about the FRCN report. In his own word... “Imagine a situation where the former CBN governor who by God ‘s grace would later become the  Emir of Kano raised an  issue of missing billions of money, not in Naira but in Dollars, $20 billion.
“What happened, instead of investigating to know whether it was true that the money was missing or not, they simply found a reason to remove him. So these are the issues we are talking about…"

Contrary to the lies of Alhaji Buhari, Sanusi wasn't removed because he raised alarm, he was removed because he was indicted by FRCN. Jonathan also never kept mute, he commissioned PWC to audit the books. Buhari was also blind to talk about prosecuting Sanusi for the CBN fraud. Perhaps the Emir is as "incorruptible" as him(Buhari)

Lamido Sanusi and Stella Oduah
The so-called APC and their praise-singers have never for once called for the revisiting of the FRCN report, oh because it doesn't favor them. Ironically, these people were quick to call for the ouster of Stella Oduah that was indicted for "lesser" offence but demonised Goodluck Jonathan for suspending Sanusi that has lots of indictment on his neck.

Conclusion
Buhari, Sanusi and APC can continue in their hypocritical path of self-deception, but every attempt to twist history, intimidate or demonise Dr. Goodluck Ebelemi Azikiwe Jonathan shall be fully resisted. Since they see nothing wrong in the fraud of CBN under Sanusi of which they are beneficiaries, then they should see nothing wrong in whatever happens in NNPC or any Agency under Jonathan irrespective of whether or not any money is missing.

May God Help Us All...
And yet. His still moving around nigeria freely with royalty, even when his not covered by immunity. That's very funny of the Gov't.
If they truly have these evidences, what are they waiting for!
