Good day, Nairalanders! I have cause to believe that coming onto this platform, my challenge (s) will be addressed and solution(s) proffered. This is because, as an ardent follower of this platform I have seen where fellow nairalanders' problems were squarely handled and far-reaching solutions were found. I have this back pain that started some 6-7 weeks ago, it started in the night and i taught it will subside by the morning. But alas, the next morning through the day i kept experiencing sharp pains around my waist region. This went on for about 7 days (a week). Suddenly, i noticed that the pain has started coming down to my legs. This makes it so painful that i could not walk, stand straight or walk briskly. Please, note that at the 2nd week i resorted to taking pain relieves ( ibruprofein etc) but without relieves at all. Now the pain has not only increased, i have noticed that sometimes i feel a little numbness at my feet a little just under the ankle and it get swollen too. Honourable Nairalanders, I believe, like I said, that i may find a solution here. So please anybody with an idea, opinion or solution should please help. Thank you so very much indeed! |

Good morning nairalanders. Please what is the minimum age for entry into university in Nigeria? |
Hi nairalanders. I need the assistance and opinion of health experts to help solve a challenge I am facing. 5 years ago, 2014, my child fell sick and was rushed to a specialist hospital for treatment. The nurse then gave him injection saying his temperature was too high. Immediately after we observed that he couldn't put his keg on the ground. After a couple of days, when he still couldn't put his legs down, we decided to return back to the hospital and a Doctor examine him and discovered that the injection was at the wrong spot. We were advised to go for therapy. We did, after 3 weeks the Doctor allowed us go that the leg will straightened, but 5 years after the appendages still didn't straightened. What can I do to make it straight as the child's wish is to join the Armed Forces. See pictures below

I am planning for an early retirement in the not too distant time, though I am in the mid forties. I work in one of the Federal Government Agency, I am becoming disenchanted and tired of the 8 to 5 thing that at the end it yields nothing for you after 60 years or 35 years in service. Therefore, I am planning to retire early and go into business and I am thinking of relocating to Port Harcourt. I am wondering the businesses that would be best to engage in. I have a degree in economics and a masters in business administration. I am from north central Nigeria. Can nairalanders help in this noble desire so I can chart a direction? |

Gofwane:My fiancee's elder sister's husband |
Unfortunately the industrialist resisted arrest and stirred controversy by bringing six truck-loads of thugs to block the entrance to his Plot W1, Industrial Layout, Abakaliki Road, Emeni, Enugu, home. This was after he initially misled the Police Command by informing them that his home had been invaded by armed robbers and kidnappers despite the fact that operatives of the Commission duly identified themselves to policemen guarding his home. His unruly thugs encircled and manhandled operatives of the Commission who had gone to effect the arrest. Consequently, a distress call was sent to the Commission’s Enugu Office for reinforcement. In all of this, the Commission’s operatives acted with decorum and civility. No one was manhandled or assaulted by the EFCC team, and not a single shot was fired, despite the provocation. Chai, EFCC! Una mumu don too much. Hear una excuse. It's a pity. |
A couple of weeks ago a female friend of more than 5 yrs informed me and my fiancee that my fiancee's close friend has been sleeping with the husband of my fiancee's sister. We couldn't just believe what we heard, more so that they are all very close, just like sisters. Infact she goes to their house sleep, bath and eat breakfast, lunch and atimes dinner. The informant told us that she had accompanier the lady to a hotel where the man bought them drinks and pepper soups. She begged my fiancee not to be too hasty in reacting to the story but should observe their movements since they live in the same locality. As God will have it, we where in a friend's house two days ago when the lady came in. In the course of discussion and watching pictures and videos on her phone from a party we all went the previous day, a called just came in, lo and behold it was my fiancee's elder sister's husband and the phone was in my fiancee's hand! The lady was dumbfounded and started asking whether he wants to speak with his wife? When we all know the wife can't possibly be there. My fiancee want to call the sister her husband and the other sisters and friends and break the news or should she just talk to her friend and the in-law to stop the relationship quietly? |
Which year? 2010? And u didn't capture d behind n sides views |
oodua1stson:Then we shld nt do it with abuse. I respect pple with courtesy n decorum. Ur status 'married' shld make u more responsible in utterances. |
Bro ...can't comment justly on this scenario . When you do introduction in some cultures you are technically engaged to this lady ( modified : he hasn't done introduction yet ) However let me tell you a simple nuance : women and men get toasted and toast a lot before and after marriage what matters is response to third parties . Unfortunately God alone reserves the Monopoly on being everywhere at once so you won't always know what your partner is up to . If she was sick I wonder why she did not call you to let you know ...either way # shrugs . Sha just put the brakes on for now and start to observe her and listen to your guts . The way both of you are behaving now is the way both of you will behave during marriage . It's a hard thing to do but bro as a natural giver , you will always want to give her things but you need to let her fish for herself sometimes . # easier said than done . Before you get married to her please make sure that both of you have started careers and grown roots in your respective fields if possible # easier said than done . And learn to observe your partner without handcuffing your partner ...in any relationship intelligence gathering seems to be key . Lastly don't react when you see your partner in another man's car ...e dey pain ohhh ... Just bear it and walk away and deal with it later . Be yourself mate all the best . Tnx. I think a lot of tinz u said is reverberating in my mind n making loads of sense. |
tifany89:Still on the thread n listening |
She made a choice by following the other man, make your own choice, it's not these days a person disgraces himself or herself in the name of fighting for love. [/q No physical fighting was done. U 'fight' 4 wat u love. |
Countrygirl:She still loves me dis I can confidently. |
Tklabelle:She's always been dia 4 me. Very loving n caring. I don't doubt her faithfulness. My friends told me she confided in him dat she loves me. Her elder sista too told me that. |
I dated a gal for 6 years and last month I introduced myself and my intention to marry her to the whole family. I told them I will come with my family in a months time for proper introduction and other rites but unfortunately she fell sick and had to be operated upon. As expected I foot the whole bill. A month after she was discharged we started having minor squabbles, she's accusing me of not taking care of her and not supporting her. Not to compound the issue I stayed away for two days to calm frayed nerves. When I went to see her, she wasn't at home so I called her line six times she didn't answer. When she eventually answered she told me she's were she's looking for a DJ cuz she want to do dedication and that I should wait for her. Whe I stated 30 minutes she didn't show up, I decided to go and watch premier league match. On getting there I saw her coming out of the bar with another man. I accosted her and we had ugly incident there. She eventually entered the man's car and the left. Determined not to let the woman I love go just I've that I followed then and threatened to beat the man black and blue if he doesn't leave my woman alone. Though there was no physical fight. When she saw it was serious she ran away and left us. Later a friend called me and told me she's with them and he told me she told them she doesn't love the guy it's me she loves. The question is: if she doesn't love him why go out with him? Why did she abandon me and zoomed off in his car? Why did she refused to answer my calls? Why did she tell me she's negotiating for a DJ when in fact she's in a bar with another man? Since the incident she doesn't pick my calls even when she does we end up quarrelling over fone again. Nairalanders, does this girl still loves me or not? Should I continue or just forget about her? There is another gal that loves me very much or so she said. |
