Travel / Re: London Is Not The Paradise I Expected by Maneater1(f): 11:18am On Jan 30, 2007
First of all who goes to london for a visit at winter?? thats the no 1 NONO.

the first time i went to londion some yrs ago for holiday i bought a three month ticket and regretted it bitterly.

The weather even during summer is crap not to talk of winter, the buildings are boring, the only thing you really have is cable.

but you can go to theme parks like alton towers and the movies and sight seeing,
ehr that s about all you can do.

if you were there at summer you could do some shopping. sorry take heart. undecided

Family / Re: Can You Marry Against Your Parents' Wishes? by Maneater1(f): 10:56am On Jan 30, 2007
it is only right that you get the blessings of your parents before you get married, its very important.

but sometimes parents dont always know what is best for you and try to dictate their way forgetting its not their life but yours and you are the one who has to spend the rest of your life with the person, not them.

Jokes Etc / Real Criminals (top 10 Dumbest Criminals) by Maneater1(f): 3:35pm On Jan 25, 2007
The Top Ten Dumbest Criminals

RUNNER-UP #9

Yankton, South Dakota: A woman was arrested at her step son's Boy Scout meeting. While watching a policeman demonstrate his drug dog's ability, the dog found a bag of grass in her purse.

RUNNER-UP #8

Colorado Springs: A guy walked into a little corner store with a shotgun and demanded all the cash from the cash drawer. After the cashier put the cash in a bag, the robber saw a bottle of scotch that he wanted behind the counter on the shelf. He told the cashier to put it in the bag as well, but he refused and said "Because I don't believe you are over 21." The robber said he was, but the clerk still refused to give it to him because he didn't believe him. At this point the robber took his drivers license out of his wallet and gave it to the clerk. The clerk looked it over, and agreed that the man was in fact over 21 and he put the scotch in the bag. The robber then ran from the store with his loot. The cashier promptly called the police and gave the name and address of the robber that he got off the license. They arrested the robber two hours later.

RUNNER-UP #7

A woman was reporting her car as stolen, and mentioned that there was a car phone in it. The policeman taking the report called the phone and told the guy that answered that he had read the ad in the newspaper and wanted to buy the car. They arranged to meet, and the thief was arrested.

RUNNER-UP #6

San Francisco: A man, wanting to rob a downtown Bank of America, walked into the branch and wrote "this iz a stikkup. Put all your muny in this bag." While standing in line, waiting to give his note to the teller, he began to worry that someone had seen him write the note and might call the police before he reached the teller window. So he left the Bank of America and crossed the street to Wells Fargo. After waiting a few minutes in line, he handed his note to the Wells Fargo teller. She read it and, surmising from his spelling errors that he was not the brightest light in the harbor, told him that she could not accept his stickup note because it was written on a Bank of America deposit slip and that he would either have to fill out a Wells Fargo deposit slip or go back to Bank of America. Looking somewhat defeated, the man said "OK" and left. The Wells Fargo teller then called the police who arrested the man a few minutes later, as he was waiting in line back at Bank of America.

RUNNER-UP #5

From England: A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar and photographed his car. He later received in the mail a ticket for 40 Pounds and a photo of his car. Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of 40 Pounds. Several days later, he received a letter from the police that contained another picture, of handcuffs. The motorist promptly sent the money for the fine.

RUNNER-UP #4

Drug Possession Defendant Christopher Jansen, on trial in March in Pontiac, Michigan, said he had been searched without a warrant. The prosecutor said the officer didn't need a warrant because a "bulge" in Christopher's jacket could have been a gun. "Nonsense," said Christopher, who happened to be wearing the same jacket that day in court. He handed it over so the judge could see it. The judge discovered a packet of cocaine in the pocket and laughed so hard he required a five minute recess to compose himself.

RUNNER-UP #3

Oklahoma City: Dennis Newton was on trial for the armed robbery of a convenience store in district court when he fired his lawyer. Assistant district attorney Larry Jones said Newton, 47, was doing a fair job of defending himself until the store manager testified that Newton was the robber. Newton jumped up, accused the woman of lying and then said, "I should of blown your (expletive) head off." The defendant paused, then quickly added, "If I'd been the one that was there." The jury took 20 minutes to convict Newton and recommended a 30-year sentence.

RUNNER-UP #2

Detroit: R.C. Gaitlan, 21, walked up to two patrol officers who were showing their squad car computer felon-location equipment to children in a Detroit neighborhood. When he asked how the system worked, the officer asked him for identification. Gaitlan gave them his drivers license, they entered it into the computer, and moments later they arrested Gaitlan because information on the screen showed Gaitlan was wanted for a two-year-old armed robbery in St. Louis, Missouri.

RUNNER-UP #1

Another from Detroit: A pair of Michigan robbers entered a record shop nervously waving revolvers. The first one shouted, "Nobody move!" When his partner moved, the startled first bandit shot him.

THE WINNER!

A Charlotte, NC, man having purchased a case of very rare, very expensive cigars, insured them against fire among other things. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of cigars and without having made even his first premium payment on the policy, the man filed a claim against the insurance company. In his claim, the man stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires." The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion. The man sued, and won. In delivering the ruling the judge agreeing that the claim was frivolous, stated nevertheless that the man held a policy from the company in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure against fire, without defining what it considered to be "unacceptable fire," and was obligated to pay the claim. Rather than endure a lengthy and costly appeal process the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid the man $15,000 for the rare cigars he lost in "the fires." After the man cashed the check, however, the company had him arrested on 24 counts of arson. With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against him, the man was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

And i hope you know they are only trying to set u up with F, so that when you finally fall and shag him at a very vulnerable time, B and C can shag as well and you cant say nothing cos ur also guilty.

my advise, find a new place to live, get a new roommate, a new boyfriend and new friends.
OR

all of u (A-Z) can just get together and have urselves an orgy.
Romance / Re: My boyfriend has toasted half of my friends by Maneater1(f): 10:19am On Jan 25, 2007
Simple logic.

C wants to shag B but doesn't want u to know she likes him.
B is a playa and is definately cheating on you with other girls and obviously does'nt respect you enough to stay away from your friends.

You haven't known C for long so you dont know how much of a bitch she can be so u cant trust her.
whenever your man starts to call your friend that you know he's attracted to, to go shopping, u know theres something up.
And whenever your friend that cl;aims to hate your boyfreind but wants to go shopping with him, thats  an undercover slut right there.
Crime / This May Sound Like A Nigerian Movie: But It Actually Happened by Maneater1(f): 9:56am On Jan 25, 2007
This was sent to me by a friend this morning.

I no like this Apongbon wey we wan pass o!" were the utterances of Henry as they (Henry and Wilfred) prepared to go home. However, these earthlings fell to the temptation of the bridge which seamed as clear as daylight.

The dynamic duo were joined by Taiwo and the terrific trio accelerated down the Apongbon bridge, only to be disappointed by the blaring red lights of cars stuck in traffic. Willy negotiated towards the left lane and "behold", two "okadas" , each with a rider and a passenger, were parked, a few metres behind the cars in traffic.

One of the passengers rushed towards our car, hands reaching for his pistol, just under his shirt. Willy swerved the car towards him to and this "man of the underworld" (who was about to embark on his sinister act) jumped out of the way to avoid what would have been a welcome collision. We (Willy, Taiwo and I) cruised into the traffic Jam and realised that we were now in a fix as there were was no way forward to execute an escape.

One robber ran into the jam and harassed cars parked on the right lane; another came to a taxi in the middle lane, adjacent to our car, and pulled the trigger, to which all hearts skipped 5 beats after the loud bang.

Then the Lord charged Taiwo's spirit who told Willy, "reverse the car now, reverse, ". At that moment, we relived the scenes of our ever loved "James Bond" movies.

Willy threw the car into a crazy, frenzy mode of reverse, rammed into the door of a Honda car behind, climed one of the "okada" used by these men to wreck havoc on innocent, industrious Nigerians (unfortunately, he missed climbing one of the riders of the bike) and crushed it like the way Nigerians crush "biscuit bone". Once the car was clear, he made a daring U-turn on the bridge and drove like a mad, rabid dog against on-coming traffic (Daniel Craig would never have done better). He swerved madly from one end of the bridge to another, avoiding both cars and trucks,

And then it happened, he was going to hit an on-coming "okada" that had two passengers; I was going to be a witness to man-slaughter, but Willy, scaled through the tightest of lanes and made for it,

Even after things seemed to normalise, my guy's adrenaline pump refused to cool down, and it took a million "Willy, cool down, cool down, " before he gradually came out of the shock.

Taking solace in the car park of City Mall, we laughed at the excitement we just encountered (even James Bond does not get this amount of excitement), and would we love to experience this again? "HELL NO!"

We counted our losses, a broken bumper, burst exhaust pipe and a slightly dented boot, and theirs, a completely smashed "okada", and felt we could have added more to theirs if we had knocked down one of these men, but most importantly, we counted our gains, Saved lives (and 3 laptops, not to mention Willy's 30k, phones and other accessories) and WE BLESS AND THANK GOD IMMENSELY FOR IT.

Moral of the story: Please leave as early as U can, Lagos is a dangerous place at night. Avoid notorious routes (e.g. Apongbon). Let us be wise for today, so that we may appreciate tomorrow.

Safe!

Crime / Re: Singapore Set To Execute A Nigerian Tomorrow. by Maneater1(f): 9:07am On Jan 25, 2007
the guy is an adult so he knew the consequences if he got caught. all just to make quick money. in some countries, if u are caught with drugs you get a jail term while in others mostly asian countries is death. or has'nt anyone watched bangkok hilton. taking drugs to singapore, he obviously knew its a death sentence they pass there if caught but the money was worth risking it.

all i'm saying is you do something like that you know there are the odds you might get caught and killed but you takle the risk anyway.

Romance / Re: (ladies Only) Is It Right For Your Boyfriend To Take You To An Hotel? by Maneater1(f): 5:07pm On Jan 24, 2007
If its for a special occassion (anniversary) yeah.
But he should not a make it a habit.
Hotels are for hookers or girls you want to code.

or does he have something to hide (wife at home/ live-in babe)
or is he ashamed of you?
And not having a place of his own or enuf space isnt an excuse cos if
he saves all that hotel money he can afford a place of his own.

Romance / Re: How On Earth Can Someone Be A Bi-sexual? by Maneater1(f): 3:44pm On Jan 24, 2007
Its very possible to enjoy sex with both male and female.

I for example like men, but i also find some women attractive but i wouldnt say to the point of having sex with them.

Some people go the extra mile to try out sex with people of the same sex to experiment. Some people like it.

Dont jugde anyone for being Bi

First of all that man is not a man of God, he is an agent of the devil because he should know that God condemns adultery and fornication.
He has managed to brainwash you and turn you into recluse.
Better look for a single guy that will marry you or settle for being fingered by a pastor for the rest of your life.
