The night life in Lagos is also very rich.

If you can get a work permit, Lagos will be a place to thrive with your AC Maintenance service.

Lagos is a potpourri of the Nigerian culture as well as western culture.

Abuja is a more serene city.

It's the capital of Nigeria and mainly adminiatrative in Outlook.

Food is cheap here but Accommodation, health facilities are a bit pricey.

Since you don't need a very big accommodation, I believe 2m naira(over $5000) is too much for a rent.

This doesn't mean there are no rent that are that expensive or more but you need to save cost as much as possible.

Like someone suggested, first get a hotel room in any city you choose and stay there for few days .

Hotel rate should be less than $50 per day.

With longer stay, you can negotiate the rate.

Hotel.ng is a good place to search.

Don't flaunt your dollars around .

Once you get to Nigeria, change some of your money to naira.

Don't pay for any service in Dollars .

There are many nice Nigerians all around and I am sure you will meet a nice one on the plane that will guide you and make you have a nice time in Nigeria .
