TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries by manmustwac(m): 10:59pm On Mar 16, 2009
If somebody wants to come to England for a holiday must that person have to book a Hotel reservation as proof of accomodation for the visa application process, can't someone rent a room for that person instead and they use the tenancy agreement as proof of accomodation?
PoliticsRe: Ibadan Residents Panic Over Robbery Attacks by manmustwac(m): 12:36pm On Mar 16, 2009
The increase of robberies in ibadan and all other parts of the country is just a sign of the times it just proves that all the prayer warriors the increase of churches in nigeria and all the fasting and praying is not going to improve the economic situation of the country. Its up to the masses to say NO to corruption and hold their leaders to accountabiltiy then gradually we will see a change in Nigeria

there aresome certain things that are not meant to be talked about and this is one of them, Any one that is anointed of God is God's servant and we do not have any right to talk bad or make jest about them,
So we should allow them to continue to build churches houses and buy rides with our tithes and its only the imaginary man in the sky who can question them?

FamilyWife For Sale by manmustwac(op): 11:42pm On Mar 13, 2009
Nagging Wife. No Tax, No MOT. Very high maintenance -- some rust," wrote Gary Bates, 38, in a small ad in Trade-It, more usually used to buy and sell cars or household goods.

Bates, a self-employed builder from Gloucestershire, southwest England, snapped after his wife Donna on got on his nerves while she was watching television and decided to place the ad as a joke.

"She was nagging me for doing something small, while she was watching some rubbish on TV. So I just thought I'd put an ad in to get rid of her.

"I didn't think anyone would ring up but I've had at least nine or 10 people calling about her. It's gone mad. There was no one I knew -- just people asking, 'Is she still available?'"

The couple only married last year, and Bates said his 40-year-old wife -- whom he advertised in the magazine's Free to Collect section, along with some of his fishing tackle -- initially gave him "a bit of an ear-bashing."

But he said: "She's seen the funny side of it now though!"

Christianity EtcRe: Forget About What Religion Said, It Was Man That created The Existence of God. by manmustwac(m): 9:34pm On Mar 11, 2009
Primitive man who couldn't understand why the rain rained or why sun shined plus thunder lightening etc invented Gods. Then from Gods came religion and whichever God u worshipped depended on which part of the planet u came from. That explains why there are so many Gods today.

In all these economic gloom, let us be sure of one thing - the "vultures" are circling n @ d end of the day, our rougue officials MUST use the prevailing circumstance to make Nigeria poorer. Forgive me if I sound sacarstic but that's d fact. Shame to all of them.
It just makes me wonder,  when oil eventually runs out. How is Nigeria going to survive? Because its going to be worse than it is now minus the credit crunch.
Christianity EtcRe: Help, I Am Losing My Religion by manmustwac(m): 1:17am On Mar 11, 2009
dalaman:
Ohh thank God for this topic because i am really dying inside, i have been having this problem that has been killing me silently for over 2 weeks now, I  meet a new friend who attends the London School Of Theology  and we got chatting, while chatting he told me that all the gospels were anonymously written, he went into some deep theology with regards to the apostolic traditions and how the names where chosen and ascribes to the books, he also showed me the names and writings of some early church bishops with regards to the gospels. He told me that, that fact does not negate the contents and the message that were written in the gospels because they are accurate accounts of events that happened. To make matters worse he told me that the gospels were written long after the death of Jesus, he said Mark was the first gospel that was written and it was written about 30-40 years after the death of Jesus Christ. The truth is that i have not been comfortable with my faith after this revelation, i just can't explain it but i just feel that something has been taken away from me, there are atheist here like bindex, huxley, toneyb, duduspace that have been saying this things but the truth is that i thought they all made them up but now an aspiring pastor and a student of theology just confirmed it to me. I still believe in the in the bible and what it preaches with my mind but my head keeps asking this nagging questions. Its so bad that i have been asking some questions around a friend told me that the gospels were truly written decades of after the death of Jesus but could not say anything about the authors since he doesn't know. I asked the pastor of the church where i worship and to my surprise he knows nothing about the history of the church and how the bible was written, he just told me that the bible is the word of God and everything ends there but that is not enough since he simply does not know, i will like the christian member of the house that are extensively knowledgeable on this to PLEASE help me out. Thank you.
Dalaman i laughed when i read post. So u mean your own Pastor can't even tell u when the Gospels were written? How can a whole Pastor say the bible is the word of God and everything ends there? It just proves the point that about 20% or even less of Nigerians have actually read the whole bible.

And your Christian friends will only tell u want you want to hear. smiley smiley

hadexman:
Do your search? Don't you have internet? 80% of Nigerians in South Africa are Igbo if that's what you wanna know.
Well then that explains everything then. If the Ibos were only 10% of the the Nigerians population there then u would have had a very good point about them being drug pushers into prostitution etc.

How can education atThe Covenant University be free when the Church is doing nothing to help the masses. Its just another business venture.

Make she go fight her debtors she no go fit. Nigerians are very bad when it comes to paying debts.
