The truth is that Nigeria’s only hope to attract FDI is their diaspora.

When the diaspora invest and succeed, it gives other foreign investors confidence to also invest.

This past election left a bitter taste and has drastically reduced diaspora remittances.

The only thing Nigeria can do is to elect a good transparent leader that will restructure and open up the economy while actively engaging the diaspora to come home to invest.

I was actually given this advice months ago when the dollar was 950 or so but my thought process was that the dollar might come down and I will lose money 😔 even now, I made the calculations

If I use 4M to buy dollar, that will be 3200 dollars and if dollar increases, say 2000 by this year ending or so, I would make an extra 2.4M but if dollar decreases I will lose a lot of money.

Don't buy dollar immediately. Government announced some policies in the last few days that are supposed to stabilize the forex market and eventually bring down the dollar again naira. Watch the market for a week or two. If these policies do not reverse the downward slide of the naira with this period and the dollar continues to rise, please quickly buy dollar with money. It means the government has no real solution to the fall of naira. Note one dollar is about 1290 to 1310 today

You are missing the point. The issues here are forgery and perjury. Both are crimes punishable under our laws. Both are enough to disqualify anyone from contesting any political post in Nigeria.

You mention the quality of the man. I guess you mean the man's character and integrity? I almost laughed. You can't put those words in the same sentence with Tinubu

One of 3 things will happen:

(1) The Supreme Court will remove him on the grounds of forgery and perjury in line with our electoral laws

(2) If the Supreme Court fails, the National Assembly will be forced to impeach the president based on the above reasons

(3) Tinubu uses executive fiat to muscle his way through by somehow suppressing the Supreme Court, the National Assembly and the voices of the citizens of this nation. This may constitute a recipe for disaster in the future

Peter Obi should hide his face with his 2nd chance GCE degree. He is no better than Buhari who even presented a Cambridge/WAEC O'Levels and not 2nd chance GCE.
