From Oosie « #117 on: December 13, 2009, 11:21 PM » My friend, planet X is in our solar system. Its in a elliptical orbit around the sun. It takes 3600 years for it to orbit the sun once. It is believed that it has life on it. This is information that the government don't want you to know. You have too look at the right places if you want to do research on it.You do know the difference between a red dwarf and a planet? A red dwarf is not a planet, it is a star. If, as the diagram above suggests, Nibiru is a star with its own solar system of planets in orbit around it, why are you calling it "planet" x? Also, can you explain how life can live on a star, which is in effect a giant nuclear fusion reactor held together by a massive gravitational force. Another question. If this star is in an elliptical orbit around the sun of 3600 years and passes in between the orbit of mars and jupitor the immense gravitation forces will not allow our solar system to exist in its relatively stable form. The orbits of the planets would have been thrown into chaos millions of years ago, with some of nibirus planets crashing into the sun's planets and some planets being catapulted into outer space . If the diagram above is correct and the red dwarf star Nibiru has is own solar sytem of planets in orbit around it. How many planets are in orbit around it? Do these planets have their own atmospheres and contain life? and can you explain how Nibiru and its planets passed between the orbit of mars and jupitor 3600 years ago without the massive gravitational forces causing chaos and totally destroying our own solar system and life on this planet?. Is Nibiru a Planet Or a Star? |
The one true God pre - dates the Alien and when you put the words "pre" and "dater" together spells "Predater" They eat Aliens for breakfast and hunt them for fun. Maybe God is a Predator? |
@poster, Do you believe in God??I think it is natural and healthy to ask questions and gain knowledge about lifes big questions. To seperate facts from myths and understand where those superstitions, myths, and religions that people hold so dear and are prepared to die and kill for originated. Which God are you asking if i believe in? Is it the God of the koran, or the bible (of which there are over 33000 denominations), or one of the Hindu Gods, or the deist God, Or maybe one of the alien Gods from planet x or Nibiru or Rizq? What about our own African Gods? Do you still believe in them like our ancestors did? If you are too afraid to ask questions about your beliefs, how will you know if you are following the right one?. |
Commen sence shows me the mayans knew about a planet with wings namely Nibiru. How can a planet have wings? Are you talking about real wings, like those on a bird? If this planet is hollow, what is stopping it from collapsing in on itself? Surely, you cannot be serious? or are you? |
One doesn't have to be a Darwinist before seeing that 15 cubits of water cannot submerge mountain peaks of 19,119 cubits! Please try again.Maybe it was magic water like the waters in the red sea that parted without the displacement of water causing a massive tsunami on either side. Remember people, God is omnipotent and is not restricted by the laws of physics. He can even make water turn into wine, stop the earths orbit, turn rivers into blood, and make donkeys talk! All scientific arguments are futile. Creationists would be better of argueing that The flood was a supernatural event not restricted by the laws of physics, caused by an omnipotent, old testament deity who performs miracles. No scientific explainations are possible or even necessary. |
so where did lucifer fall to, and when did god create lucifer? The whole story just doesn't make any sense. |
Where is planet x and is there life on it? Is it in this solar system or in orbit around a different star in our galaxy? If planet x is in this solar system it will be much too far from the sun to sustain life. Astronomers using the most powerfull telescopes have only managed to find evidence of hundreds of massive planets orbiting very nearby stars in our own galaxy. All of the individual stars we see in the night sky are in this galaxy and relatively close to earth. Other galaxies look like points of light due to the immense distances of inter-galactic space. You can only see them as galaxies using very powerful telescopes and you cannot see individual planets. Statistically though, there are probably billions of planets in this galaxy alone. And billions in other galaxies too. If planet x is not in our galaxy how can it have been discovered? |
@horus In your opinion, is Malachi York an angel? |
The universe is like a gigantic roller coaster.Enjoy the ride! ![]() |
According to the bible and the koran, angels are a very important part of the story of god's interaction with humans. Out of curiosity i did a little research and found this list of angels heirarchy in heaven. * First Sphere (Old Testament sources) o Seraphim o Cherubim o Thrones (Gr. thronos) (New Testament sources) * Second Sphere (New Testament sources) o Dominions (Gr. Kyriotetes) o Virtues (Gr. Dynamais) o Powers (Gr. Exusiai) * Third Sphere o Principalities (Gr. Archai) o Archangels - Archangeloi o Angels - Angeloi Angels of the first sphere work as heavenly guardians of God's throne. Angels of the Second Sphere work as heavenly governors. Angels of the third sphere function as heavenly messengers and soldiers. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/ff/Francesco_Botticini_-_The_Assumption_of_the_Virgin.jpg Francesco_Botticini_-_The_Assumption_of_the_Virgin According to the story the devil was an angel that was sent to earth by god before he created adam and eve. Is this correct? What puzzles me is when exactly these angels were created in the six days of creation? If you are a christian or muslim do you believe in the existance of all of these supernatural beings? And what is the difference between the belief in angels and the belief in polytheism? |
@the seeker You are right. It's a very strange phenomenom. ![]() |
@Justcool All you need do now is to build a machine with an einstein improbability drive linked via an array of flux capacitors to a stable casimir engine. With space and time being linked, just type in the exact coordinates in space and transpose the equation so that the distance travelled is in time and not space. You will be there in an instant. Simple. One day when quantum mechanics, gravity waves and wormholes are fully understood it might be possible. Never say never. The concept of capturing and recording the light of the present (which instantly becomes the past) was incomprehensible and considered impossible until very recently. Then we discovered the electromagnetic wave and photons and all the necessary equations etc. Now we all take it for granted with miniature 'time machines' called video cameras on our mobile phones. Imagine if you could create a virtual camera by recording the reaction to light reflected off an atomic particle anywhere in space / time. It's probably just a matter of discovering the right equations. Quantum mechanics can record a particle to be in two places at the same time. There is still a lot more to be discovered and understood. |
@OP: Interesting idea. With some fine-tuning, you can use this idea for a sci-fi novel or suggest it to a movie directorThat reminds me there was a very good sci-fi book i enjoyed reading a couple years ago which explored that very subject by arthur c clarke and stephen baxter. It's called 'The light of other Days' and you can find it on amazon. The religious implications when the true origins of the worlds religions were discovered was very intrigueing. You can find it on amazon. Amazon.co.uk Review SF's grand old man Sir Arthur teams up with newer star Baxter to tackle a whopping science-fiction idea with ample scope for both their talents. Their "WormCam" video camera looks across any distance through tiny wormholes in space. Initially this seems no worse than a remote TV link, but it transforms the world as disquieting cans of worms are irrevocably opened. This gadget is a veritable WormCan. Distance is no obstacle. Neither are walls. Early WormCams allow daringly invasive newspaper scoops--and once the general public can buy them, personal privacy vanishes forever. Anyone can spy on you anywhere. Or anywhen, because next-generation WormCams peer through time as well as space , at your embarrassing old secrets, at mysteries of the past, at the truth about old murders, Princess Di, the Mary Celeste, Abraham Lincoln, and even Jesus. As WormCams steadily improve, they probe into deep time: spying on early man, walking with dinosaurs, back and back to a poignant SF vision of what came before life as we know it. It builds towards an utopian dream of the wonders humanity could achieve if given total access to its past. Clarke and Baxter ramble intriguingly in all directions, exploring every implication. Their imaginative set-pieces are linked by a slightly soap-operatic plot featuring the megalomaniac entrepreneur whose labs built the WormCam, the sons he's manipulated like puppets, and one son's girlfriend who becomes a spanner in (as the lab's nicknamed) the WormWorks. Wide-ranging, ambitious and enjoyable. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0765322870/ref=s9_simp_gw_s0_p14_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=04JMYSFP9HSXY7K8B0FR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846 |
They say that if you invent a time machine you can only go back to the point in time when it was invented due to the fact that you cannot travel faster than the speed of light. When you think about it the time machine that captures real images of events from the past has already been invented. The camera does just that, and with the advent of high definition and 3d cameras we can already see real events that happened in the past on our tv screens. Its just a shame that scientists didnt figure out the properties of light and the electromagnetic wave thousands of years ago. Then we could have seen for definite what really happened at history's most important events. If only someone had the foresight to show the disciples for instance how to make a simple pinhole camera. |
The mayans were way too optimistic. their world came to an end when the spanish conquistadors arrived. |
When we were very young we used to believe in father christmas. When we learned to think rationally we stopped believing it. How can one decide to go back to believing it again after discovering to truth that it was all lies. You need to face reality, you cannot return to the ignorant bliss of childhood. You might try but i think that one day soon you will become a born again atheist! |
When you say that your god is real and not imaginary, Which god are you talking about? https://friendlyatheist.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/gods-we-dont-believe-in.jpg There are hundreds of gods that you believe are imaginary too. Atheist just believe in one less god than you. You must admit that it would be foolish to believe in all of them, they cant all be real. Do you really think that you were lucky enough to be born into a family that just happens to be worshipping the right one? Think about it, There is only one logical, and rational conclusion. It may be difficult for you to comprehend at first after years of indoctination that your god is the only real god. But your god is imaginary too, just like all the others. They provide the answers to all the questions you asked for millions of loyal followers around the world. |
Thanks bro. I just ordered it off amazon. respects |
Really? Light of which knowledge? Are we any closer to discovering how we appeared on this planet? My friend, that question exemplifies what i mean when i say i do not underestimate the paralysis of denial. So much has been discovered in so many different fields such as geology, astronomy, biology, anthropology, physics, genetics, etc etc, that has brought us out of the darkness of ignorance that have allowed so many superstitious beliefs to thrive for so long. It seems like you are trying so hard to bury your head in the sand where it is still dark, but, like an ostrich, you cannot hide. And you cannot switch the lights back off. Come on out of the dark. Dont be afraid. The things you will learn when you free your mind may even bring you closer to understanding the true nature of your god. |
i would call all former muslim to get her book, because it is definitely thought provoking.Very good videos, Thanks for the links. I am not a former muslim but would be very interested in reading her book. Which one would you recommend? She has three on amazon. |
I know not to underestimate the paralysis of denial, but with the light of knowledge starting to reveal the true nature of the world we live in, ignorance is no longer a valid excuse. Religions started in the dark and made sense then, but we are not living in the dark now. Ignorance is being replaced with facts, knowledge and understanding. We are all in the same room. We are not 'saved' and 'unsaved', 'chosen' and condemed. There are no dragons, demons, and evil spirits. There is only us and we all need to get used to it. |
wow! This illustration perfectly shows the position that religion is in in the 21st century. We are all |
And that they were made in his image .-.-: ![]() |
Even if it took slavery to bring God's word to africa.its still okay cos its better to be in d light of Jesus than be in the bondage of darkness.if the word of God wasn't brought to africa ,me and many beloved wouldn't have known Christ who is love and couldn't have been heirs of the kingdom of God but thank the Almighty God for this greatest gift of salvation for us.My friend, what you have just said makes me feel so sad. That is the most shameful and ignorant thing an african can say. To say that slavery was okay after millions of africans died and were treated like cattle, branded, sold, tortured, raped, and stripped of our culture and humanity. We were considered to be sub human savages and had christianity forced upon us by europeans. We were not in a "bondage of darkness" and the slave trade was not a "gift of salvation" for us. Even jesus condoned slavery in his 'teachings' that a slave should obey his master. It seems like you would be happy if slavery was not abolished because you obviously think it was a good thing. I hope that one day you wake up, free your mind and break out of your slave mentality. Your ancestors who fought against slavery and died hoping that one day we will be free deserve more respect than that. |
I think muslims will start killing innocent people again if the dark sides of mohammed are brought to the open . . . unless those darksides (i.e paedophilia, womanizing, killing/robbing innocent people, etc. etc. ) are edited out.Too late. The brainwashed muslim jihadists already have started killing innocent people again. When will they ever learn. The facts cannot be denied. |
Oprah is of african descent and is doing more to help africans than your imaginary friend jesus could ever do. Wake up people! and stop the self hatred. Remember the first slave ship carrying our ancestors out of africa was called the Good Ship Jesus. We should be celebrating Oprah and all the good work she is doing. |
Sounds to me like she has used her own brain and given up belief in the barbaric christian theology of Yahweh and his murdered son Jesus. She seems to be leaning towards a more deistic view of god after exploring many other beliefs. It shows that she is intelligent and open minded, which is something that a lot of closed minded religious people should try. We all know that all religions cannot all be the right one so she has come to a more holistic theology to try to explain it all. If you are a christian, or a muslim, what makes you think that you were lucky enough to be born into a family that just happens to be following the one true religion and denomination of that religion out of the hundreds of thousands in the world today? Think about it. Use your brain. That's what Oprah is doing, but i dont think she is an atheist yet, and she is definately not about to convert to islam. ![]() |
[creationist] 50 reasons why i reject evolution. 1.) Because I don’t like the idea that we came from apes… despite the fact that we humans are categorically defined and classified as apes. 2.) Because I’m too stupid and/or lazy to open a science book or turn on the Discovery Science Channel. 3.) Because if I can’t immediately understand how something works, then it must be bullcrap. 4.) Because I don’t care that literally 99.9% of all biologists accept evolution as the unifying theory of biology. 5.) Because I prefer the idea that a (insert god of choice) went ALLA-KADABRA-ZAM!!! 6.) Because I can’t get it through my thick logic-proof skull that evolution refers ONLY to the diversity of living organisms which reproduce with genetic variation, not to abiogenesis, or planet formation, or big bang cosmology, or whether God exists, or where they buried Jimmy Hoffa, or why the sky is blue, or how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. 7.) Because the fossil record doesn’t comprise the remains of every single living thing that ever existed on this 4.5 billion year old planet, even though fossilization is a rare process that only occurs under very specific circumstances. 8.) Because science has yet to produce any transitional species… except for the magnitudinous numbers of them found in the fossil record which don’t count because… I uh, OOH LOOK! A SHINY OBJECT!!! *runs away* 9.) Because I know nothing about Darwin except that he had a funny beard. 10.) Because the theory of evolution (which, according to scientists, perfectly explains the richness and diversity of life on Earth) contradicts biblical literalism… ya know, flat Earth with a firmament that keeps out the water, talking snakes, people rising from the dead, bats are birds, flamey talking bushes, virgin births, food appearing out of nowhere, massive bodies of water turning into blood… etc etc. 11.) Because I think the word “theory” actually means: “random stabs in the dark” when it really means: "an explanation of certain phenomena that is well-supported by a large body of facts and often unifies similarly well-supported hypotheses" i.e. atomic theory, gravitational theory, germ theory, cell theory, etc. 12.) Because the fact that science is self-correcting annoys me. Most of my other beliefs are rigidly fixed and uncorrectable. 13.) Because I am under the severely mistaken impression that evolution implies someone in my very recent ancestry was a chimp. 14.) Because everything appears designed to my mind which was expertly tuned by nature to perceive design, probably as a survival mechanism. 15.) Because some secretly fabulous closet-dwelling televangelist (who unironically preaches hate towards gays) told me that evolution is Satan’s way of leading me away from God. 16.) Because that same guy (who was also caught snorting blow off a male hooker’s shiny naked butt) told me that God planted those fossils to test my faith. 17.) Because I’m 100% correct about everything 100% of the time and there is 0% chance that some snooty Oxford educated scientist with numerous honorary doctorates could possibly know something that I don’t. 18.) Because I don’t know that fossils are found in sedimentary strata corresponding to their age as one would expect if evolution were true. 19.) Because I don’t understand why, if we share common ancestry with chimps, there are still chimps. 20.) Because my mom dropped me on my head when I was a baby. 21.) Multiple times. 22.) On purpose. 23.) Because the idea that life evolved naturally over billions of years is infinitely less believable than the idea that an 800 year old man crammed two of every species into a giant wooden boat when the entire planet flooded, an event for which there is absolutely no geological evidence whatsoever and also makes no sense at all. 24.) Because Jesus totally rode around on a t-rex. He’s just that bad. And also, did you know that t-rexes were vegetarians? Ken Ham says so and I believe it. 25.) Because I don’t realize that saying “microevolution is possible but macroevolution isn’t” is as stupid as saying “I can pick my nose for one second but I cannot pick it for 10 seconds.” 26.) Because the education system failed me miserably. 27.) …and then took a big wet dump on my face. 28.) Because I think that knowing how nature works magically obliterates all of its beauty. 29.) Because I didn’t know that evolution has been tested and observed in laboratories. 30.) Because when confronted with that, I refuse to believe it. It’s obviously a scientific conspiracy aimed at turning everyone on the planet into atheists, even though evolution says nothing about god's nature nor whether he, she, it, or they exist. 31.) Because I’m too stupid to realize that Social Darwinism has nothing to do with evolution and is actually a pseudo-scientific bastardization that real science largely rejects. 32.) Because the planet and all the life on it was designed for humans… kinda like how the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY was designed specifically for the dust-bunnies that may accumulate on the floors. 33.) Because I don’t realize that if we actually found croco-ducks in the fossil record, it would falsify evolution. 34.) Because plenty of respectable people like Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and Mike Huckabee (who are not scientists) don’t accept evolution, and that somehow validates my opinion. 35.) Because my mother didn’t know not to drink while she was pregnant. She also didn’t know not to repeatedly throw herself down a flight of stairs in an attempt to undo the accident of screwing someone who voted for Bush both times. 36.) Because I don’t know that “irreducible complexity” has been debunked a frazillion times by a frazillion different people and is no more credible an argument than “NEEN-er NEEN-er NEEN-er, I’m right and you’re wrong.” 37.) Because I have never seen a duck evolve into a cat over night, despite the fact that such a thing would be contrary to all known scientific disciplines. 38.) Because I have no imagination, learning is too much effort, I don’t like proven facts, change scares me, and I think deoxyribonucleic acid is something I’m supposed to clean my bathroom floors with. 39.) Because evolution means that I absolutely MUST reject everything else I know, abandon all my beliefs, and start aping around my house like a monkey. OOOh-ooohh-ooohohh -OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!! 40.) Because I haven’t put my cave on the market and moved into the 21st century yet. I’m waiting for the cave market to rebound from the recent financial meltdown. 41.) Because I don’t know what an atavism is and if you told me, I still wouldn't believe it. Too weird. 42.) Because I don’t know that evolution explains methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and also provides the answer in preventing it from turning into a superbug and killing massive numbers of people. 43.) Because I don’t know that evolution is routinely used in medicine to diagnose and treat certain illnesses such as genetic ailments, bacterial infections, and viral infections. 44.) Because I believe there is a strong comparison between designed inanimate objects such as buildings, paintings, and watches (which we know were pieced together from identifiable components by human beings) and living organisms (which reproduce with genetic variation under the effects of environmental attrition). 45.) Because I see no significant similarities between humans and apes. *scratches my butt then smells my fingers* 46.) Because I think I’m too special to have been crafted by any natural process and the entire planet, solar system, galaxy, and universe were created with me especially in mind. 47.) Because I unquestioningly swallow the ignorant anti-science bullcrap spewed directly from the fraudulent people like Ken Ham, Ted Haggard, Fred Phelps, and Kent Hovind. 48.) Because I’m a freethinker and freethinking really means ignoring anything that contradicts what I already believe. 49.) Because I don’t know what confirmation bias is. 50.) Because despite the fact that in all my years of life, I have never seen any magic, I still believe magic is the answer to anything I don’t immediately comprehend. Ladies and gentlemen, I rest my case. Quod erat demonstrandum, I win. Take that you EVILutionists! ~By Bobbie Jean Pentecost Evolution is real. If you want to learn more about it, just go to your nearest natural history museum and educate yourself. Face the facts. Look at all the evidence. Ask all the questions you need to and you will understand it. |
islam is perfectMaybe when you get to heaven and find that you are one of the 72 virgins for some demented sex maniac jihadist you might change your mind. Or maybe you would prefer to have 72 virgin boys to fornicate with as your reward. ![]() |
The bible made sense to me until i turned about twelve and learned to think critically and ask honest questions. The answers i got were the same as for all the other fairy tales i was told as a child and i used to wonder why most adults were not able to see through it. Especially as it was forced upon us in our history and was used as a tool to justify slavery, genocide, racism and split up families. In bible class i always felt sorry for the poor Phillistines, Egyptians, and all the other tribes who were tormented and murdered just because they had different religious beliefs. |
