yeah i got upl.sold a substantial part 2 weeks ago at just under 12 naira.i might just wait 4 another month and c how ci leasing plays out.as for niwicable, how much do u recommend i buy it at?it closed at 9.15 today i think? |
windywendy, nice 2 c u are back.i'm stil keeping ci leasing.its done over 100%.do u think its worth it or should i take profit run?! |
oga pumping!whats ur take on ci leasing as it is.i've a substantial amount(bought in nov 07 @5.61).is it wise to stay for a couple more months??i ask cos of what easimoni said abt their unlisted p.o shares(?1 billion shares).ur opinion will be highly welcomed.thanks |
by the way whats the gist with bagco??any idea when they're planning to conclude shares allottment? |
easimoni how far with that ur prediction 4 ci leasing?r u serious, cos i need to run from am then?!i thought they were doing very well after their acquisition of a leasing company in ghana.also heard they're looking to go into oil exploration??can any1 confirm this. |
pumping77 u na guru as well!!i mentioned this design union over a month ago but didn't get anybody's input into their proposed pp.the ceo's younger bro was my class mate in med school so he tipped me off that time.i'm not good at analysing stocks (cos i never tried)so i couldn't really take a position on it.they appear innovative in de company sha,and if u google the company,u'll see samples of their projects.the dome-shaped oando service stations been rolled out all over the country was done by them.anyhow if u can analyse the company's figures try give me ur take on it.thanks |
nigeria1 your thought contents aren't different from bipolar(manic) patients that i c regularly in my daily practice.if u really believe what u av been posting, then your family needs to take u to a psych hospital.one big problem here is lack of insight;u don't realise you're ill,so the call needs to be made by someone sane(a family member or friend would do).i hope they are as worried about your mental state as some folks here are?! |
while i'm not advocating aldutery,i think its absolute bonkers 4 pple 2 believe in magun.in this day and age??sounds more like folie a deux(rather a communitae!!)if there is any psych condition like that!! |
men am amazed at the response from both the guys and the girls;try 2 talk 2 her,and just 4give her??interesting!!if i didn't know,i'd have thought this was a forum in usa or one of the western countries.get real my friends it can and will never be the same again.don't trust her,she will do it again, and the reason she is going 2 give then will be different.i don't condone extra-marital affairs from the man or the woman.my advice would have been the same if a lady was the one asking for it. |
webking sorry about your loss.even though i'm a med doctor i can't really comment on how well or otherwise they handled your sister's case as i'm not privy to the full info like the consent that was explained to u people prior to treatment, the prognosis and all that kind of stuff.no doubt there are some incompetent doctors in nigeria and also the world over.but i completely disagree with davidylan equating nigerian doctors to american nurses,or that we are not taught well in school.thats pure ignorance and he'd know better than most of us how well nigerian doctors are performing in the states.for your info most of those doctors had their med education in nigeria, and the only exam we've 2 do 2 work as docs in the states is the same that the american medical graduate, the canadian, the brit, the indian doc etc takes as well. the biggest problem facing medical practice in Nigeria is that the regulating body is toothless.until they start holding doctors accountable we will cont 2 face this kind of problems.it'll take time i can assure u but they need 2 start now.the days were doctors played God is long gone in the west but its still the order of the day in Nigeria.i work in ireland and it amazes me the rights that patients and their families have, but once evrybody understands their roles and realises that ultimately they are all in it for the good of the patient,it works out fine!! |
viperman, can u fling a 99/2000 cherokee quadra drive with full options-canadian specs.its been in lagos 4 over a year with stories from the dealer thats meant 2 sell it.u can get back 2 me at edeedos2000@yahoo.com.more deals will follow if u are interested cos this guy has a dealer license in toronto |
hello tmoni,i thought the pp 4 union diagnostics was over??can someone enlighten me pls. |
easimoni:easimoni(the guru himself)!!.concerning this design union, the director's younger bro(who was a classmate of mine)told me about the private placement a few weeks back.do u think its worth investing a couple of millions in a company that won't be listed on the nse till 2010 like u said.i've checked their website sha,and it would appear that their designs are comparable 2 what u would see in big cities in the western world plus they've got big plans for the future. if u nor recommend that move, any suggestions?thanks. |
we dey try.give us credit jare.what will u say about ghanaians, congolese and the likes?!!to be honest with u the oyinbo men and women in my hospital dey always remark say na the first thing wey dem dey notice amongst us be that!!c a pix attached!!don't ask who be me inside!!
|
my ex from med school broke up with me cos she said i was 2 good for her??!!!probably the dumbest reason 4 jilting a lover!! |
is the range his??!its nice to c nigerian artistes enjoy the fruit of their labour.nice song and vid but it wouldn't harm to wear the pants on his waist next time sha |
it looks like most people don't understand what accessory means??one guy is talking about bathrobe, his jeans, shirts etc.my understanding of fashion accessories includes things like glasses, belts, wallets.for me its a hugo boss glasses for 175 euros(duty free price).by the way we pay well over regular prices in dublin.its a damn expensive place!!! |
seun, you're so pre-occupied with whatever u think your contibution to the economy is??people are talking about probaly the biggest issue contributing to the bad state of the country and all u can say is u are not waiting for the govt.i can assure u that most people here aren't waiting either but they feel touched by issues like endemic nature of corruption in nigeria.i suppose u think you can sustain a thriving biz by the time the country is finally run down.hope u know that number of criminal elements will increase exponentially in such circumstances and it may not be too easy to enjoy the fruit of this venture that u are so proud of?!! |
olumide7,manage 15million naira annually??guess u aren't based in naija sha?? |
ur friend needs a reality check 4 even contemplating cheating as a solution 4 her problem.like one other person said we don't know the details of what she is going thru.she should seriously seek support if she is been abused by the husband.that should be her priority!! |
romeo,i was home for most of december last year if that's any use 2 u!!granted there are corrupt people everywhere but u av 2 say its endemic in nigeria(maybe we're not the worst but we definitely can do much better).i suppose that's the point. |
i won't be surprised if romeo u are one of those who engaged in the long trek 2 reach spain so u find the issue that i raised touchy?!!i nor know say e go vex you. |
romeo,it has everything to do with it!when u come under the guise of a visit and then remain in the country to give birth so u can get child benefit plus free housing(which u will rent out despite not been there, that is corruption-if it is not tell me what it is teacher??!). |
its obvious from the various replies that we're trying 2 hide from the real issues.methink its highly improbable that the percentage quoted can be right.in any case the truth is we're a very corrupt country and our nationals everywhere don't help issues.i reside in ireland and our reputation here is the same and its not hard to c why(we are the main perpetuators of credit card and welfare fraud.before then our pregnant women invaded the place for freebies, and it didn't take long before they changed their laws regarding citizenship for newborns).we should stop feeling that every country has a thing for us.maybe when the average nigerian starts 2 see a difference between been a thief/corrupt and been a "sharp man" then our image will start to pick up.i hope fellow Nairaland users don't get a wrong impression of me following this post;i remain a very responsible and proud nigerian!! |
naija diva, maybe its jamais vu ?!!i'm new to nairaland, however i would've expected the moderator to point it out. |
i think its a kinda dance particularly associated with the carribeans.it sometimes involves simulation of lewd sexual acts in the name of dance and occasionally i fear that some people will get hurt pretty bad if it goes out of hand.i hear even akon got into trouble recently all in the name of dance?!!don't get me wrong don't mind watching it at times, but i have/will never engage in it!!!!!would like 2 know what fellow nairalanders think about this dance craze |
arikky,as u can c from the post it states "hepatitis b".its only one cause;a double stranded dna virus!!!!!!!true u can have alcoholic hepatitis and other infectoius agents causing hepatitis.so don't confuse issues?!! |
hep b is never alcohol induced.its got through blood/other body fluids.no doubt alcohol its toxic to the liver itself and so expectedly the liver is more likely to be damaged in people with hep b and comorbid alcoholism.hep c is another one that's blood borne.my advice is try and get vaccinated cos its a simple way of preventing potentially serious diseases. |
like 1 of the other members stated,"hate"is quite a strong word.anyway i've only been a member of this forum for a short period but i've observed from his posts that he is very full of himself.i really don't care whether he is successful or not.he does not put food on my table(or any of yours i guess?!!).try 2 be more understanding in ur posts. |
guys am particularly interested in shares gist!!i've tasted it already but my regret is not investing more.bought decent amount in the dangote ipo and dunlop offer in dec 06.recently bought uba.i'm presently looking for tips on which stocks to go 4 in the short-medium term.hoping to invest like 1-2million asap.will appreciate any useful tips.thanks all |
seun it sounds to me u either have verbal diarrhoea or lack basic understanding of english words like respect and patience??!!next time i suggest u think b4 making such comments ok? |
eko4show,i get ur point.its really our mentality in 9ja.like u said 4 jand u will notice that people are generally proud of their jobs.its not all about a 3rd level degree like in 9ja!!!i mean u see how well paid artisans are here,u go bow!!until we start appreciating people for their productivity in 9ja instead of their university degree(??)then we never start!! |
