Stop sneaking lies into this thread. The rail lines being constructed for the project are standard gauge. They have nothing to do with current single gauge NRC lines.

And the Chinese company CCECC is a construction company. Their job is to construct the lines not supply the trains. JB are responsible for expanding the road network. In case that was too hard to understand I will reiterate the information using pretty colours.

Train Line = CCECC
Trains Cars = The Toronto Transit Commission
Road Expansion = Julius Berger

If the above info is still too hard for you to understand without maps, just look at the pretty colours. Look at how the purple is sooo purple. There's a good lad.

This is hilarious; the funniest statement I've read this year. It reminds me of Henry Ford. In the early days of Ford Motors, customers complained about their lack of choices in terms of choosing a colour they prefer for the ford cars. . .since the only available colour for the cars back then was black. I'm afraid that is the only thing the government can do; the alternative is to pass a law banning street begging and perhaps arresting those that publicly solicit for alms. But passing a law that bans people from giving alms is totally obnoxious and impracticable. I agree that these beggars constitute serious public nuisance, but the solution is certainly not in promulgating a draconian law that threatens 'good samaritans' with two years imprisonment. Even people that commit certain serious felonies don't get up to two years imprisonment. The idea is totally idiotic; this can only happen in Nigeria or Africa.

The law does not ban giving alms, or begging for alms, or charity, or whatever you want to call it. The law bans giving alms to people on the street. You can donate to the various charities and welfare offices in Lagos that cater to less fortunate persons. Doing this does not stop you being a 'good Samaritan'.

One of the bigger problems with nairaland and Nigeria as a whole. There are so many mentally lazy people that do not actually read and analyze data before making up their mind. That would depend on a number of factors. Outright price, serviceability (price and parts), longevity, deployment plan etc. I remember the air force chief stating that the F7s were a stopgap to replace the alpha jets in the short term. It doesn't look like the jets will last that long though.
