You  should be ashamed that your countries navy is accepting such a gift.It shows that the USA does not see our navy as a capable Navy.We are more like pets to the USA not equals and that is a very disturbing thought.

Now let me show what the best navy on the African continent looks like before you start talking out of your armpit.Nigeria is far far richer than SA ,so how come we don't have a functioning modern Navy? And how come we have to settle for scraps with all the funds we generate from the Oil industry? I do not see any reason why SA's Navy should be so advanced than ours,do you?

What has our glorified heros like Fashola done to the towns outside Lagos Metropolis, like Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry or  what has Amechi done to towns outside PH. If you can tell me  what these two gentlemen has done knowing fully well  they are some of the finest Governors around,  then we can start talking.

I think we have failed to observe the picture very well. The boys are crouching while the girls are kneeling down. Infact one girl is sitting down while some boys are also standing.

the nigerian military will need to spend money on more morden equipment.as for the airforce we need to focus on 4th generation type mulirole fighters,this business of f-7 planes was a waste except they are to be used for agresor training.the days of interceptors are long gone. we planes like f-16 or mig-29smk and d likes for our air defence and strike capability needs then we also need dedicated ground attack birds like su-25.we also need to focus on logistics issues as it is nigerias air lift capabilities is a joke.in my own opinion we need to focus most on our air lift and survelance capabilities.as for the navy nigeria is a mojor oil exporter and most of our economy is reliant on the sea.we need to be able to defend our sea lane and escort our marchant ships wen the time comes.a single frigate and 4 corvets is laugherable.we can buy some second hand frigates and atlist a destroyer as the nations flag ships.another thing we need to do is intregrate this platforms force coherdsion.
