How the hell do doctors go on strike? What kind of doctors are those? I don't know what the reason for the strike is but, the Government (both state and Federal) should draft in Military doctors to handle some of the load. The blood of those people are 100% on the hands of these so called doctors.

Did they reduce their pay? Haven't doctors before them survived on the same pay?

Again I have to ask, what kind of doctors go on general strike? I just can't comprehend this. Even in war zones where medical staff are in the firing line, I have never head of this before. Look at Somalia where doctors are under constant threat, they still turn up to help people.

Fashola should be doing much more to resolve this. Hugely dissapointing.

Maiory that started off mentioning the WC jersey issue hence a frivolous claim deserves an equal response.  grin

Call it one of those playful exchanges with no real purpose.

How are y'all planning to perform against the reinvigorated Liverpool?
That's Mariory to your sir!

Yeah I agree, just a bit of banter thats all.
Liverpool are currently losing to Napoli. (Malouda and Lamps out for Liverpool game on Sunday)
Man City just got brutalised by some Polish school team.

All in all,
- City finding out money alone doesn't buy you trophys.
- Arsenal are well just shite!
- Liverpool are in relegation form
- Man U, well Manure fans constantly singing to their owners #Give me money, That's what I want!#

It's been a brilliant year for Chelsea so far. grin

Yes! And Like dayokanu said, Lebouef played the entire final against a good Brazilian side in 98 were he faced the real Ronaldo. Lebouef signed for Chelsea in 96 and played for us till 2001. I know all this info is surprising after some of you folks have deluded yourselves into thinking Chelsea were a nothing club before Abramovich. grin

Actually 1972-1996 as we actually won trophys in the 60s, and 90s including the European Cup Winners Cup twice in 1971 and 1998.

In that period though you guys proper dominated us for about a decade give or take. Well guess what? We are proper dominating you now. I know it hurts but we will carry on pounding you for a while yet. So get used to it. wink

I know life started 5 seasons ago for Chelski fans like you so enjoy counting. In the real world, longer time spans are used for credible comparisons.
HNIC:
Bros, why are you limiting trophies won to just 5/6 seasons?
Why not. . . .the last 100 years?
Afterall, footie didn't start 5/6 years ago
You know it always makes me laugh especially when Arsenal fans start talking about the last 5-6 years of pwnage they have been subjected to at the hands of Chelsea. They usually like to go back about 10-15 years to prove their point.
Well how about we go back well into the past. I think you'll find both clubs have been dominating each other on and off over the last century (especially if we go way back to the 60s).
http://arsenal-mania.com/clubs/10003/Chelsea/versus.html

So Arsenal fans, it's not just for the last 5 years that Chelsea have been b!tch-slapping Le Arse. It's just that most recently we are the ones owning you. So my advice to you Arsenal fans is to just grab the vaseline, bend over the right way, go to your happy place, and just try to enjoy it cause it's going to take a while for our positions to be reversed.

If one were to humour this story, then you could say that the weapons would probably have gone over land. There are smuggling routes through Sudan as well. This is only a plausible theory if there is any truth in the Gaza story.

Just to point out that there is a mistake in the punch article. Isreal does not control all the crossings into Gaza. Egypt controls the Rafah crossing.

I always wonder about the human pysche everytime I hear people just go on and on about Nagasaki and Hiroshima. China alone lost some 7-16 million civilians due to the actions of Japan. And that's civilians alone not including military deaths. This doesn't even include the smaller countries of East Asia that were occupied by Japan whose civilians were subject to toture, slavery, starvation, etc.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Sino-Japanese_War

The death toll from both Atomic bombs combined doesn't even scrath 250,000 Japanese. While the atomic/nuclear weapons are horrible, let's put things in pespective.
PoliticsRe: How Come Bbc Don't Show These Pictures by Mariory(m): 10:04pm On Oct 24, 2010
Because according to some people, that is not the real Lagos. Those pictures are of a Lagos in an alternate dimension where the market women, beggers, area boys, and every single poor person below the poverty line all live in total utopia and all live happily ever after.

$10 million for a plot of land in Lagos? huh shocked

I just don't think they are sustainable in the context of a developing Nigeria.
Obviously those prices exist because there is a demand in the market. And those are highbrow areas of Lagos where you tend to find the "rich". Although truth be told I think there is a property bubble in Lagos.

Reduce tariffs on imported parts or on electricity bills?

Classic white elephant projects.
Classic white elephant project? Is the factory not going to employ people? Production costs (in theory) will be minimized as the transformers are maufactured in house.

And when you reduce the price of importing components, does that not led to reduced transformer production costs? Does that then not lead to reduced transformer prices? Does that not help in reducing the cost you pay to have electricity?

And you call others fools?

My point is for a Con-federal Nigeria that has different nations held together by a weak central government.
This point is a bit of an oxymoron. What's the use of having different nations controlled by a weak central government when we can simply have a coalition of the current states controlled by a Federal government.

I agree when you say more powers and responsibilities need to be shifted from the center to the individual states.

The probability that the result of disintegration will be chaos is too high. I do not even want to fanthom what might happen if such an exercise were to go bad.
