If you are really interested in transparency, when you post the results please post the LGA and city/town (If possible modify your earlier entries as well). That way those who are not from Delta can better understand the version of results you are reporting. From what I have read so far DPP is currently leading PDP but, I have no idea if these results are state wide.

Exactly! You should have asked them what they would do different if they were in a position of power. There is a high probability that they will be worse leaders. Not one among them blamed the driver because it suited them. And there in lies the problem with Nigerians.

Irrespective of the rights or wrongs about this particular project, I really cannot understand why people can not get the bolded points into their heads especially when they go on about tax. The simple fact is, for the state government to bring infastructure to a decent level on it's own in Lagos, then it will have to raise tax to a much higher level. And we haven't even looked at how much it would cost to maintain said infastructure.

Unfortunately due to Lagos being one of the only areas you can make money without having any specific specialty, it will continue to attract Nigerians from all over and this will in turn cause more problems for the already inadequate infastructure. The only solution I can see is to build more cities like Eko Atlantic and run them properly. This will help decrease pressures in the old towns and cities of Lagos.

Oh no! Not another war against the pipelines! Haven't the pipelines suffered enough? Nigeria please wake up. Those Ijaw special forces are very good at attacking the pipelines at night. Imagine how many pipelines they will eliminate with the help of US smart, dumb, jizz/spunk guided missles.

Please vote for "good-luck" in 2011. Let us spare the pipelines another war.

When did the ECA ever reach $27 billion? We are talking about the ECA here not the Foreign Reserves. Two completely different things. I find it hard to believe it would even go up to $20 billion as reported by allafrica.com.

PDP will never get Lagos. In fact they are thankfully dying in the SW. The creep towards a one party country has been halted. One only needs to look at the comments section to see that Lagosians will not stand for the PDP.

With the draconian manner the presidents and governors are using the federal police force today in Nigeria, the looters and ritual operatives, masquerading as governors, requesting for the formation of State Police will send chill to the spine of any Nigerian. A police force under the control of these masquerading imbeciles as governors would give rise to socio-political armed robbery and official government kidnapping.

The states will still be part of the federation. The federal government can easily take over any state that does not obey federal law after all the federal government will still have the military (army, navy, airforce, reserves etc),  other security/emergency services, and the federal police.

It is absolutely a good idea. Hell we can even keep the federal police just let the states take care of themselves. This will reduce inefficiency and waste. Maybe, just maybe corruption as well.
