denex:Really? I haven't seen any record of that in the investigations carried out. I shall have another read through when I have time. http://wtc.nist.gov/ |
*Sigh* *shrugs* |
They lied! As expected, the rest of the population in Kano now have to live according to "Islamic Law". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6288480.stm |
denex:No it isn't. It really has no direct bearing on the twin towers themselves. denex:I don't think it would be wise to fly planes into abandoned buildings that are due to be demolished. |

See the below page that shows some steel bars for the floors were missing the sprayed on fire proofing they should have had. These steel reinforcements may have been naked before 9/11. http://www.debunking911.com/fires.htm Also see http://wtc.nist.gov/NISTNCSTAR1-6B.pdf And http://www.debunking911.com/sag.htm |
It is also important to note steel loses about 20% of it's strength at some 300C-500C, and about 50% of it's strength at about 1000C. It wouldn't have to melt to buckle and fail. |
Along with the conspiracy theories we've seen. there are also those who scientifically debunk such claims which you don't often hear about. This site shows building 7 and offers an explanation. http://www.debunking911.com/pull.htm#reporter Computer models used to prove tower collapse http://www.structuremag.org/archives/2007/March%202007/D-Spotlight-ComputerModeling-Mar07.pdf |
ph4life:Why do you want to see Odili naked? ![]() |
initiator:How can the standard of living be below the law? Sounds like an excuse to me. |
@redsun And you judge the whole of Nigeria on one road? |
Mmelu:*Yawn* |
The source of the story is an article is the sun. smile4kenn:Says it all really. "Intelligent sources" indeed. I wonder if this story appeared because kalu was arrested. |
Let's see what the new excuse will be. Maybe Orji and Turaki disagreed with OBJ's returning to school? |
There are some on these forum boards that claim Lagos thrives on stolen oil money from the Delta. I wonder what their opinion is on this article. |
Interesting development http://www.ft.com/cms/s/c5959288-2f4a-11dc-b9b7-0000779fd2ac.html Umaru Yar'Adua, Nigeria's president, says he has asked the five business moguls who benefited most under his predecessor's rule to contribute some of their wealth to a fund aimed at stimulating small enterprises. No doubt Dangote will be among those 5 moguls. that should appease some in this thread. |
http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070710/wl_africa_afp/nigeriaoilunrest;_ylt=ApT4tXQzDbqp5ZWdkoBjwDO96Q8F Have they (Kidnapping criminals) finally gone too far or is Yaradua not ready to entertain the same amount of nonsense as OBJ did. Time will tell. |
A banana costs more than my house http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/6284186.stm In Nigeria from time to time we cue hours/days for petrol. In Zimbabwe they cue for food. Unbelievable! |
Do you know that pigs can fly, and drive, and solve complex maths? |
It is like any other day. Like other days of the year, it turns out good for some bad for others. For most people it is just another day. |
They are at it again. http://asia.news.yahoo.com/070710/3/34ko0.html ORT HARCOURT, Nigeria (Reuters) - Nigerian troops repelled an attack on a construction site run by Korean firm Daewoo in the Niger Delta early on Tuesday, killing one of the attackers, a military commander said. http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L10918377.htm |
Big B1:Exactly. The man is now building a massive refinery that will employ thousands of Nigerians but, obviously for some it is not enough. They expect him to fly around the country throwing money down to the population. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6572289.stm |
And the kidnapping goes on. It's fair to say it's now out of control and only a major security operation will prevent chaos in the delta. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070709/wl_africa_afp/nigeriaoilunrest;_ylt=AltkpKAbiQDexDla9oJnk4q96Q8F A British and a Bulgarian citizen were kidnapped overnight in oil-rich southern Nigeria, a day after three other foreigners were snatched in the area, industry and diplomatic sources said Monday. |
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070709/ap_on_re_mi_ea/israel_palestinians;_ylt=AvwX6nTI4vj5EBp4IqF9aWRvaA8F JERUSALEM - For the first time in its history, the 22-nation Arab League will send a delegation to Israel this week, with the mission of discussing a sweeping peace initiative as well as the threat posed by Hamas and other Islamic extremists. |
angel101:This was the question you asked. --------- And what has he done to touch the lives of the less priviledged in the society? who cares what he is worth if it makes no difference to the society in which he lives?! Shocked |
angel101:What has Oprah got to do with it? You asked a question and I responded or did you forget the question you asked? |
Afam:Funny you should say that cause in your 3rd post on this thread you said the following to which didn't respond cause frankly I can't be bothered. So for Mariory who posts as a man even when someone had earlier challenged her identity which she shamefully ignored to be talking about liars is another wonder of the world. I don't deal with hermaphrodites (I hope say na the spelling sha). This is what you have done time and time again. Of what relevance was this to the thread. You proceeded to insult me and call me a she/hermaphrodite for no reason other than I posted a link confirming David's post. How are you going to attempt to spin this, "Mr Christian"? |
Aneef:Thank you. Simple, factual, and straight to the point. |
Most successful businessmen are ruthless. angel101:He employs a lot of Nigerians in his factories. Lots of Nigerians have made money from trading in shares of his company. He is building Refineries. |
It's not a rumour. The new e-passport is an ECOWAS passport. http://www.businessdayonline.com/?c=132&a=13873 http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1Y1-108098692.html |
At least $8 billion in shares. |
