Health16 Natural Ways To Get Ride Of Headache Fast by MarshRiley(op): 7:51am On May 12, 2015
There are many different things that can cause headaches: Abrupt changes in your diet or an everyday schedule like getting too much or too little sleep, stress, long working hours, skipping a meal, or from using the computer for a long time without taking breaks. Headache can cause unbearable pain along with nausea, and at times vomiting. Many people don’t realize that the most common cause of a headache is dehydration. There are many over the counter medicines available in the market to get rid of headache, but all of them have potential side effects, disrupt gut bacteria and can cause other health problems. Instead of relying on quick fixes through drugs, try some of these natural remedies which are proven effective for even some of the worst headaches including tension, cluster and migraines.
1. Water
Headaches aren’t unhealthy by themselves, headaches are a sign that tell us that something is wrong, however our body does not always give straight and clear signals that tell us how to behave. When our body is dehydrating, we don’t always feel thirsty, and most often headaches is your body telling you to hydrate. Most adults require anywhere between two to five litres a day depending on their height and weight and depending on the type of lifestyle they have.
If the reason behind the headache is dehydration, then you can easily get relief from the pain by drinking large amount of water. Water is very effective home remedy for headaches. Simply drink a glass of clean, filtered water at the first sign of headache and continue taking small sips throughout the day. Once your body gets hydrated the pain will automatically start to ease. When suffering from a headache, it is advisable to stay away from any kind of drinks that can dehydrate your body, especially caffeinated.
2. Massage Scalp, Neck and Ear Lobes
Doing some light massage can distract you from the pain, as well as improving circulation and relieving tension. For a basic massage, gently press your fingers over your temples, and move them in slow circles. Or, try these more advanced techniques:
Do a scalp massage. Hop in the shower and treat yourself to a long scalp massage as you shampoo your hair. Or, for a drier version, pour a little bit of coconut or argan oil on your fingers and rub into your scalp.
Find two tennis or racquet balls and put them in a sock. Lie on a flat surface and place the two balls just below the base of your skull, on the occipital bone, and relax. You may feel sinus pressure or minimal discomfort at first but it will go away. This is especially helpful for sinus headaches.
Have someone else massage your neck and back if possible. The simple touch of someone else who cares about you can relieve a lot of tension instantly. Have them focus on the occipital region as well.
Gently massaging the bridge of your nose can help relieve sinus and migraine headaches.
Massage the soft part of your hand in between your index finger and thumb. Nerves in that spot allow your blood vessels in your forehead to constrict.
Firmly massage the acupressure point on each hand where the thumb and index finger bones meet (second metacarpal bone). It’s best if somebody does this for you, so both hands can be massaged simultaneously, but if that’s not possible, massage one hand for five minutes, then massage the other hand.
3. Ice Pack
Using an ice pack to apply cold compress over the forehead can give quick relief from headaches. To apply cold compress you can also apply a cold cloth on your head and temples for ten minutes and again repeat the process after some time until you get some relief. A bag of frozen vegetables can also serve as an icepack. When cold compresses are placed over the forehead, it numbs the pain and helps the blood vessels to shrink and improves the blood circulation, thus giving relief from the pain. This particular remedy works when the headache is due to stress or sinus.
4. Practice Relaxation Techniques.
People around the world use a variety of tricks to distract themselves from pain. If you’re in the midst of a headache, don’t worry about learning something new — stick to whatever is closest to your comfort zone. (You can always read up on different meditation techniques later, when you feel better.) Some popular options include:
Meditation.
Prayer.
Deep breathing.
Visualization.
Listening to binaural beats
Try to just calm down. If you can fall asleep, that might help.
5. Hot Water
Applying heat on the back of your neck with the help of a hot water bag can give you relief from headache caused due to stress. When heat is applied it relaxes the tense muscles thus giving relief from the throbbing pain. Along with a hot water bag, you can also take a hot shower. Another option is fill a tub with bearable hot water and then put your hands in it for ten to fifteen minutes. When you do this, blood circulation improves and thus giving your relief from the headache. For those suffering from chronic headache, must keep their legs dipped in a bucket filled with hot water for ten minutes before going to bed.
6. Lemon
Lemon is very effective and powerful ingredient to treat headache pain. When you drink warm water mixed with some lemon juice, it reduces the intensity of a headache. This particular home remedy is beneficial when headache is caused due to gas in the stomach. Another option is apply lemon crust paste on the forehead to get immediate relief from the pain. At the same time you may also drink a steaming cup of lemon tea three to four times a day when suffering from headache.
7. Feverfew
Can be taken in capsule or tablet form, as a tea, or even eaten in a sandwich (it tastes bitter). There is mixed evidence to support the effectiveness of feverfew but it has been relied upon for centuries, so it might be worth trying. There are no serious side effects, although you might experience a sore tongue, mouth ulcers, or nausea, digestive problems and bloating. Coming off long-term use of feverfew can disrupt sleep and actually cause headaches.
8. Betel Leaves
Betel leaves are known for their analgesic as well as cooling properties which can hugely help to get rid of a headache effectively within a few minutes. For this remedy, you need to take two to three fresh betel leaves and with the help of a grinder make a fine paste out of it. Now apply this paste on the forehead and both sides of the head for half an hour. Soon you will get relief from the intense pain. At the same time you can also chew one or two betel leaves to treat headache.
9. Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy preparations vary considerably but some of the more commonly used essential oils for headache treatment include lavender, sweet marjoram, and chamomile. Use for neck massaging, in a bath, or to inhale. Mix five drops rosemary oil, five drops nutmeg oil, five drops lavender oil in a carrier oil. Massage on the neck and upper back area.
10. Ginger
Ginger has got anti-inflammatory properties that can help in easing headache pain. At the same ginger helps in relaxing the blood vessels in the head and reduces swelling in the brain and activates natural opiates in the brain which helps in lessening the pain associated with tension headache. When having a headache, you must drink ginger tea three to four times a day to reduce inflammation in the body. However, it is important to take ginger tea at the very beginning of a headache. This will help the ginger to act quickly and lessen the headache.
11. Apple
When you wake up in the morning with a headache, you must eat a piece of apple by applying some salt to it and then drink some warm. Soon you will be able to get rid of persisting headache. Along with apple, you can also use apple cider vinegar to treat headache. Fill a large bowl with steaming hot water and add three to four tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into it. Now place a towel over your head and take the steam for ten to fifteen minutes. Another option is to add some apple cider vinegar to a glass full of water and drink it two to three times a day to alleviate headache.
12. Almonds
Almonds contain pain-relieving chemicals that may reduce your headache symptoms in as little as 10-15 minutes. A handful of almonds is always a handy natural substitute for any over the counter quickie.
13. Cayenne pepper
Another endorphin stimulant, cayenne will help to alleviate your headache. Both consumption and topical applications are know to cure some of the worst headaches. Sweet Relief Cream is one type of topical application that works very well, especially when combined with DMSO.
14. Peppermint
Peppermint has got calming and soothing properties that can help in the treatment of headaches. You can make herbal tea by adding one teaspoon of dried peppermint herb in a cup of hot boiling water. Cover and allow it to steep for ten minutes, then strain it and add some honey to sweeten it before sipping it slowly. You can also use peppermint oil to gently massage the temples, jaws and the back of your neck. This will give you instant relief from the pain. In addition, inhaling the soothing aroma of peppermint steam can ease the symptoms associated with headache such as vomiting.
15. Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus oil has got pain relieving as well anti-inflammatory properties. To quickly get rid of headache you must use eucalyptus oil to massage the forehead and temples for fifteen to twenty minutes. The oil will provide a soothing effect thus giving relief from the pain. At the same time it will also help in relaxing the tense muscles around head. Along with eucalyptus oil you can also coconut oil or almond oil to massage the forehead in order to get rid of your headache.
16. Cinnamon
Cinnamon is another herb that can effectively treat headache. Take some cinnamon sticks and grind them to make a powder out of it. Now add some water to this powder to make a thick paste and apply it on your forehead and temples and lie down for half an hour. Soon you will get relief from headache. After some time wash your forehead with lukewarm water. This remedy is helpful when headache is caused by exposure to cold air.

Romance8 Common Causes Of Infertility In Men by MarshRiley(op): 7:45am On May 12, 2015
Causes of male infertility include:
-Using steroid- this causes the testicles to shrink thereby rendering the man infertile.
-Malnutrition and anaemia.
-Wearing tight pants and boxers- this causes infertility by decreasing the production of sperm due to the heat created by the tight underwear, this heat affects the scrotum negatively.
-Lots of intense workouts- Too much of high intense exercise is capable of rendering a man infertile as this causes the body to produce lots of adrenal steroid hormones, which then cause a testosterone deficiency.
-Smoking– this significantly decreases both sperm count and sperm cell motility, which is the ability to move spontaneously and actively.
-A prolonged use of marijuana and other recreational drugs.
-Chronic alcohol abuse.
-Lack of adequate vitamin C and Zinc in the diet.
The above show that male infertility depends a lot on health, so, men who live a healthy lifestyle are more likely to produce healthy sperm, thereby their reducing chances of infertility.

PoliticsWhy I Voted General Muhammad Buhari by MarshRiley(op): 8:15am On May 06, 2015
Having being a supporter of GEJ,I always thought I'll vote for him until a night before the presidential election when I decided to think and make up my mind on who to vote and why, below are my reasons:
1.INSECURITY: The state of insecurity in the country and the way GEJ was handling it wasn't something I was proud of,I mean if between febuary 14 till date, our armies can finish Bokoharam, why haven't they done that for the past 6yrs,I wasn't comfortable with the death of fellow Nigerians
2.CORRUPTION: the rate at which our politicians were stealing money was also another issue, how can 20billion dollars go missing and nobody is in jail for it while the economy keeps suffering?
3.ELECTRICITY SUPPLY: the privatisation of Phcn didn't do any good to the country,we now pay more for power that we don't even have
4.LEVEL OF POVERTY: Nigerians are wallowing in poverty, school fees can't be paid,no money for house rent, even to eat is a major problems to Nigerians
5.ASUU/ASUP strike: Na this one pain me pass,I ought to have graduated by now if not for the stupid strikes embarked on by our various institutions, the way the government handled the issue and the prolonging of the whole thing simply showed how insensitive the government was.
This are my reasons oh,feel free to add yours or criticize as deem fit

PoliticsTinubu....let's Talk About "CHANGE" by MarshRiley(op): 12:13am On Jan 15, 2015
“Good day, Sir. Congratulations on the successful conduct of the APC’s convention in Lagos to elect its presidential candidate for the 2015 election. Though you were denied the luxury to conduct the ‘selection’ in your bedroom as usual, you still managed to weep the Oshimholes into line behind your‘beloved godson’,General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd). Having succeeded in forcing APC governors to ‘gang up’ against other presidential aspirants, you set the stage for the exercise to be professionally manipulated to produce him as the elected presidential candidate of the APC. Consequently,Governor Okorocha, one of the presidential candidates, had since been blaming his failure to win the primary election on what he calls ‘gang-up of the APC governors’. If any other presidential candidate was the beneficiary of the ‘gang-up’, your godson would have condemned it and incited his supporters to soak ‘dogs and baboons’ in blood. He had since been adopted as a consensus candidate for Northern Nigeria (Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri Muslims, to be specific). According toAlhaji Coomassie, the Chairman of a Hausa-Fulani pressure group, ACF, the North“is going to support a Northern candidate. And since APC had voted a Northern candidate, we are going to support him 100%. So Buhari is our candidate for the 2015 election.”
“Days after Nigeria gained independence in 1960,Sir Ahmadu Bellowas quoted to having said, “This new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand father, Usman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as winning tools and the South as a conquered territory, never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future.” Since the above statement was made by the Sultan, it had continued to serve as a roadmap for Hausa-Fulani politicians, hence they believe that it is their birthright to use any means possible to either reclaim power or prevent non-Hausa-Fulani Muslims from ruling over them. Sir, as long as prominent Nigerians like you prefer to serve them as ‘winning tools’, Hausa-Fulani politicians will continue to behave as if Nigeria is an estate of Usman Dan Fodio. In 1961, the same Sultan Bello said,“I am set and fully armed to conquer the Action Group in the same ruthless manner my great grandfather conquered Alkalawa, a town in Sokoto Province during the last Century.”May I remind you, Sir, that what happened toChief Obafemi Awolowoand the Action Group between then and 1966 were direct consequences of this statement. Any Yoruba politician who fails to find out the real source of conflict between the two illustrious sons of Oduduwa, Chief Awolowo and Chief Akintola and adjust accordingly may have themselves to blame. You can never be more loyal to Hausa-Fulani politicians than late Chief MKO Abiola, but where is he today and how was he rewarded?
“There are irrefutable records at the United States District Court for Northern District of Illinois indicating that most of your assets and properties were confiscated by the US government in 1993 because of your involvement in drug trafficking in the US. The records also indicate that you were an employee of Mobil Nigeria Limited on a salary of $2,400 per month and a proud owner of ten bank accounts, one at the First Heritage Bank, nine at the Citi International Bank. Out of over $1.4 million USD found in your accounts, you forfeited $460,000 USD to the US government. Although you were not subjected to criminal prosecution, the fact that you acceded to forfeit $460,000 USD to the US government on account of your trafficking in drugs in the US was on its own a conviction. However, if you are not a convicted drug baron, as contained in the court papers and report to NDLEA, call a press conference and exonerate yourself because the APC cannot afford to have a convicted drug baron as its national leader.
“In order to actualize your self-imposed task of installing a Hausa-Fulani president in 2015, you collaborated with Hausa-Fulani politicians, the most conservative ethnic groups in the country, to form a political party, the All Progressives Congress. Funny enough, APC’s slogan is‘change’. Change from what to what? The policies of the APC-controlled states, especially those in the North, and antecedents of its key members are anything but progressive. Sokoto, Kano, Borno, Yobe states are dominated by Hausa, Fulani, and Kanuri Muslims. At the recently-concluded National Conference, they rejected fiscal federalism, state police, local government autonomy, resource control, Child Rights Bill, among other propositions. They consider Western education, birth control, vaccination against polio, and girl child education as ‘anti-Islamic’. Because of their ‘progressive’ policies, Nigeria is yet to eradicate polio. These states account for over 90% of beggars, internally displaced persons, illiterates and almajiris. While a girl child as young as 7 years old is given out in marriage, a boy child as young as 5 years old is dumped with any Imam anywhere for years to acquire Islamic education with no support whatsoever from his biological parents. In these ‘progressive’ states, people reproduce like rabbits as long as they live thereby creating inexhaustible reservoirs of expendable human robots (almajiris) whom your godson and other Hausa-Fulani politicians had been using to prosecute religious riots often initiated by them. Sir, are these the much-trumpeted changes Nigerians should expect from the APC?
“Your godson is expected to ‘captain’ the Nigerian ship should the APC emerge victorious in 2015 presidential election, but his utterances are to say the least disturbing. While speaking in Kaduna at a seminar organized by Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria in 2001, he said,“Sharia should be introduced in full across Nigeria. I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God’s willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country. It is a legal responsibility which Allah has given us within the context of one Nigeria to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear. What remains of Muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts and educate fellow Muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of Sharia Laws.”
“In spite of the bloody Sharia riots in Kaduna State in 2000 which claimed thousands of lives and destroyed properties worth millions of naira, he was here in 2001 announcing his“total commitment to Sharia movement”. This was an arrogant display of insensitivity. His total commitment to promote full implementation of Sharia Laws in Nigeria might have convinced him to regard Boko Haram terrorists as partners in the service of Allah because, apart from warning President Jonathan that any attack on Boko Haram terrorists would be considered as an attack on the North, he went further to criticize the President for not treating Boko Haram terrorists the same way Niger Delta militants are being treated. He said that Boko Haram terrorists were only fighting for their rights, hence Jonathan should stop bombing them and destroying their homes. Sir,what ‘changes’ do we expect from a man with such undiluted commitment to promote full implementation of Sharia Laws in Nigeria?
“Sir, I observe that you and other key members of APC always threaten to set the nation ablaze if APC does not emerge victorious in 2015 presidential election. At your investiture as the Pro-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, you said,“No government that wants people’s votes will be doing what they are doing. They are already planning to rig the elections, but be prepared to protect your votes, nobody serves you freedom à la carte. It is going to be rig and roast.”
“In 2010,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said,“Those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable.” In 2014,Mallam el-Rufaisaid,“The next election is likely to be violent and many people are likely going to die. And the only alternative left to get power is to take it by force, this is the reality on the ground.”In March 2014, APC Chieftain from North East,Alhaji Abu Shuluwa, said,“Nigeria will descend into anarchy if Jonathan is allowed to contest 2014 election.” APC Publicity Secretary,Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said,“Let us remind the presidency in case it has forgotten that electoral fraud triggered civil war in Algeria in the 1990s.” The Chairman of APC,Chief John Oyegun, said,“If we do not see any discernable change of attitude on the part of government, then we will move to the next stage on the list of actions that our party intends to take to stop the rot being perpetrated by the PDP government.”During Salvation Rally in Port Harcourt,Governor Amaechi said,“What is the essence of going to court when the Federal Government does not obey the laws? That is why APC will not go to court any longer. If you rig us, out we will rig ourselves in, which means if you can rig us out in 2015, we will form our own government. We have met on that, we have agreed on that. We will install our own government, and there will be two governments.”At his inauguration on 27 November 2014,Governor Aregbesolasaid,“We will take over Federal Government next year. Anything you have, get it ready. We must pursue Jonathan out of Abuja next year by all means necessary.”
“Judging from your antecedents, election is never credible unless you are declared the winner. You have promised to set the nation ablaze if you do not win next year’s presidential election. The other day, I saw your godson in a group photograph with his beautiful children. How would he feel if anyone killed these lovely, innocent children just because a politician does not win an election? Sir, how would you feel if your beautiful wife were ‘roasted’ because a politician does not win an election? Even considering that the election is massively rigged, does that justify killings? What’s next? When will you use your privileged position to serve your creator and mankind instead of chasing shadows and shedding blood? Your godson’s utterances had led to post-election violence that swept through the North in 2011. Apart from turning thousands into orphans, widows, widowers, what has he benefited from that avoidable but massive destruction of lives and properties?
“The participation of your ‘godson’ as the APC presidential candidate in the forthcoming presidential election is a two-edged sword. His victory or defeat are both to likely cause problems. In case of defeat, you both are most likely to stir up violence; but this time, I am afraid, there may be reprisal attacks. All these outbreaks may degenerate into total breakdown of law and order. If Buhari wins, the people of Niger Delta may disrupt oil and gas production to make his government ungovernable because they believe that Hausa-Fulani politicians are the sponsors of Boko Haram terrorists and Fulani herdsmen. Such development will have very serious adverse effects on the economy. However, this can be averted if the recommendations of the recently-concluded National Conference are fully implemented.
“This country must not be allowed to break up as predicted by the Americans. God bless Nigeria.”
PoliticsWe Are Not With Buhari's Certificates-army Reveals Some Chilling Truths by MarshRiley(op): 1:20pm On Jan 03, 2015
Just some days after former Head of State and Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, retd, explained in an affidavit submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that all his academic credentials were with the Military Board, the Army have replied.
APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari
Vanguard reports that the Nigerian Army have stated that they do not keep the certificates of any serving or retired officer or soldier
The fourth-time presidential candidate got into the news front-line few days ago when the Peoples Democratic Party described him as a ‘semi-illiterate’ man, hence the need for the certificate as a proof came up. The new development however made Buhari to send his affidavit in court.
Against the backdrop, a military source reveals“that the Army can not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner,” adding that such original certificates were only needed at the point of entry into the service.
According to the source, the Military only kept photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers in their personal files that were in the military secretary’s office.
“The original certificate of any officer or soldier is only needed at the point of entry into the service either as a cadet officer entering the Nigerian Defence Academy, or the recruitment officers when interviewing recruits to be sent to the depot for training. That is so, because they are needed to verify what were in the photocopies supplied by them or from the necessary examining bodies.”
The source further made it known that anybody claiming that his original certificates were with the Military Secretary (Army), had“ulterior motive(s) or something he or she cannot explain.”
He further added,“Let me tell you now, in the Navy, the Navy Secretary, NAVSEC, keep the documents of all Naval officers and ratings and not their original certificates which are their personal property.
Romance10 Questions You Shouldn't Ask A Girl On The First Date by MarshRiley(op): 10:25am On Jan 02, 2015
They include
1. How much do you weigh?
I don’t even like being asked this question by my own doctor, so it definitely isn’t okay for you to do so. Just like age, weight ain’t nothing but a number.
2. If I got you pregnant, would you have an abortion?
3. What’s your name again?
4. Wanna go back to my place?
“We won’t have s*x, I promise.” Dude, that ain’t the issue right now. The issue is the missing persons report my
mother may have to file tomorrow morning. Maybe I watch too many serial killer specials on TV, but the
possibility is totally real. Right?
5. Is that your real [insert body part here]? Always assume yes. We’re happy with our deception, so play along.
6. Are you a feminist?
Just because I haven’t been salivating over your tired pick-up lines and sad seduction techniques doesn’t mean I’m automatically a man-hater. Excuse me for having some standards.
7. Can I kiss you?
If you have to ask, odds are that the answer is probably no. While some girls may like the respectful nature, others
consider confidence sexy. Go in for the kill. The worst that can happen is that you’ll get rejected. I know this is like
the end of the world for you, but you’ll live to see another day.
8. Wanna split the bill?
I’m all about being “I am a woman, hear me roar”, but if you invite me out, I’m expecting you to cover all expenses.
Especially if we’re just grabbing snacks. I mean….c’mon
now!
9. How old are you?
This ish isn’t cute. Don’t ask us our age.
10. Are you a virgin
Please save this for another date.
PoliticsPastor Yemi Osinbanjo Is Disgracing Christianity by MarshRiley(op): 3:19pm On Jan 01, 2015
I just stumbled on this article
In this piece posted on Daily Post, Bayelsa-born Kali Gwegwe criticizes the political activities of the Vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo.
Read the article below:
I have deep respect for pastors not necessarily because I am a Christian. I do so because they are Messengers of God. Nevertheless, truth is just. Truth is correctional. It does not cover up errors or weaknesses. These are the fundamental basis for this piece. It has no political undertone.
Following his nomination as the running mate to General Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential flag bearer of APC in the February 14 polls; Pastor Yemi Osibanjo has been seen riding in public buses and having two-way engagements with the downtrodden. This is traditionally what is expected of Servants of God.
Pastor Yemi Osibanjo is probably among the legion of Christian leaders that criticize Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) for screening his works of charity on Emmanuel TV. They have deliberately refused to acknowledge the fact that T.B. Joshua is simply following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ to show love and compassion for the less privileged. It is owing to his deep understanding of Scriptures that the General Overseer of SCOAN caters for the poor, weak, sick, neglected, rejected, and vulnerable in society.
It was therefore curious that Pastor Yemi Osibanjo suddenly realized the important position the downtrodden occupy in society and in the heart of God. In all his years as pastor, Yemi Osibanjo has never been highlighted in the media preaching the Gospel in public buses or taking the message of salvation to personally and directly to the downtrodden. Only God knows how many souls he would have won for Christ if he done so. Many Christians were therefore shocked that he could do the unusual because of political power.
My worry is this: Pastor Yemi Osibanjo has sent out a wrong message to the larger society. He has indeed succeeded in making people believe that POLITICS- NOT CHRISTIANITY CAN HELP BRING OUT THE BEST IN MEN. It is sad that desire for political power is what is making him to do what he could not do as a pastor. This is not good for the Christian faith.
This piece does not seek to crucify Pastor Yemi Osibanjo. Rather, it is a challenge to all Christians to live up to their callings. Christianity is the pillar of hope for the hopeless, shelter for the vulnerable, and balm for the wounded. Christianity has no season. I just hope that Pastor Yemi Osibanjo will never stop riding in public buses and spending quality time with the downtrodden whether he wins or loses in the February 14, 2015 polls.
For those who will rush to accuse me of judging Pastor Yemi Osibanjo, I have a question for them: Is it right for us to hold our leaders accountable for their actions? Pastor Yemi Osibanjo is a Christian leader. What I have done is holding him responsible for his actions. More than that, it is written in Proverbs 27:17 that “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Like any other person, Pastor Yemi Osibanjo is my friend.
Gwegew’s criticisms are a bit out of place as he would rather attack the personality of the professor rather than stick to issues.

Am posting this cos am getting frustrated
Am a final year student and am not even in a relationship, not like I don't have ladies around me,just that they all see me as a sex tool...take for example, the lodge where I stay in school, all the ladies there are just obsessed with sleeping with me,so much that d other guys are complaining,I dnt know why they just want sex and am not a sex freak,I can't even have a proper relationship cos all the ladies I've come across are more interested in sex than the other benefits of a proper relationship....is it anyway my fault?

And what image of Nigeria does this prize fool think he portrays abroad? Having constructed a flimsy structure and succeeded in killing over a hundred miserable people due to intractable and consumptive greed and lacking the decency or humility to accept resposibility for his invidious deed he is thrashing around blaming any shadow that crosses his path. Now it is Nigerians. ! In saner climes his unholy gathering would be firmly shut down and he would be in jail till this matter is cleared up, instead he is swanning around in Colombia casting badly written aspersions on Nigerians, heavens only knows what the country has done to deserve clowns like TB. Christianity EtcNigerians Are Guilty Of Destroying The Image Of The Country Abroad-tb JOSHUA by MarshRiley(op): 7:28am On Oct 08, 2014
Nigerians are destroying the image of the country before the international community, with negative comments targeted at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Ikotun Egbe, Lagos, following the collapse of a guest house at the church.
Founder of SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua has therefore slammed negative comments in video clip sermon posted on the church’s Facebook page.
According to Joshua, in the sermon titled “A cloud that covers Nigeria has closed my mouth,” trouble was near in the country.
“I just came back from Colombia. Although, I intended to travel from there to another country, but I came back home because there is a cloud that covers Nigeria. I want to witness how this cloud will dispel. Cloud means trouble.
“Look at what is happening here (in SCOAN), you will not see it on a national TV but if you learn that they bombed here, one of you will call CNN that they have bombed Synagogue. All what is happening, you will never see it on the pages of national or international newspapers. You will never see every good thing that happens here (in SCOAN) on these media channels,” Joshua said.
He accused Nigerians of being the ones who inform the international media on bad happenings in the country, warning however that those who do so “are destroying your country, selling your country for nothing. It is a very painful thing. You are the ones destroying your country, you, Nigerians.”
“The image you are giving to your country is bad. You destroy your image. You say your nation is bad, everything is bad, even anything good is bad. I am telling you something far, but now, I am telling you something as close as my mouth.
“One thing is clear, I have never seen where lies overcome truth. Take note of that. I have never seen where lies overcome truth. Truth will always prevail. I pray, Father, let your will be done, in Jesus’ name.”
