Getting to know people on a much deeper level can sometimes ruin whatever relationship you had with them. I tend to like the idea of people & closeness sorta destroys that for me. There're some celebrities that I like & if they had a reality show I wouldn't watch it because I wouldn't wanna destroy the perfect image of them in my head. Some celebs I never liked before I ended up liking after getting to know them much better, be it through interviews & so on. So I'm afraid the opposite might happen if I get to know the ones I really like. I'm the same with people in real life. Closeness shatters my fantasies.
