bloodofthelamb: Martinez you were never a Christian. It is a pity that the word christian and born again have been commonised.
We have so many of your type today in the church. You only heard about God(Christ Jesus) but never knew him. God exist, by faith and humbleness of the heart you will be able to know Him, if you are interested.
Stop deceiving yourself!
NB: Mind you, you can argue and win for God but yet don't know him. .

frank317: Hi Martinez, which church did u attend when u were a Christian? I was born and made a Catholic. For the first eight years of my life, I went to St. Dominic Catholic Church in Lagos. Then I switched to pentecostal when my mum shifted to the pentecostal. The pentecostal churches I have attended include MFM(for a long while about 3.5years), Deeper Life(very brief), RCCG and few unknown ones like BBF(bible believers ministry(the William Marion Braham fledgling )) and the likes. New generational churches like Christ embassy(BLW): the opium intoxicated-like fanatical, sexually immoral and sexually indecent church; Harvesters(I enjoyed my experience there). Harvesters was the last new generational church I went to as a christian. |

To know how stupid I can be and for those of you who doubt I was a christian, read all my christian arguments in this thread and see how I tried to defend christianity. It's like my ultimate Martinez19 cringe compilation. https://www.nairaland.com/3100949/one-big-misconception-theists-atheists#45558446 I made unbelievable, stupid and regrettable arguments. Please try not to cringe or laugh. That's as stupid as the christian me can get. EDIT: hopefulLandlord, HardMirror, Tozara, 1Sharon, hahn, 0temSapien, segunojo886,, Johnydon22, frank317 |

HardMirror: it is a two stage process.
1. Knowledge, getting a contrary argument to what you believe
2. Being honest to admit the bullcrap you have believed all your life.
Most people wont calm down to examine the counter arguments hence they never get to even be sincere to accept them.
We all yearn for the truth that is why almost everyone once wondered where god came from as kids. But we all kill that thought because we are afraid of the supposed consequences of questioning 'god' True. I remember asking, as a little boy, "who created god?" |

MallamJackson: The fact that he's beginning to talk too much isn't even my problem with him after all its politics
but he's beginning to sound like the typical politicians Nigerians are used to by making unrealistic promises
-Legalising weed
now
-100k minimum wage? True. People forget that our leaders were once common citizens. He, indeed, sounds like other politicians. |

Wow. Politicians have some much confidence in the gullibility of the masses. When I told people that he was playing the manipulative weed card like politicians in USA, people were arguing with me. I hope his #100k for minimum wage is an eye opener. If it's not then you are gullible or ignorant of Nigeria politics. #100k?

Quote me when you have them. I have no time for your likes. My upcoming pictures aren't arguments but posts I made on nairaland starting from when I was a christian on nairaland. In those pictures, one would noticed how my tone gradually changed from christian-like to atheistic. It's just my trip down memory. Argument-wise, I don't have your time. |

wirinet: Religion is not actually the opium of the ignorant, it is worse that opium. It is makes addicts delusional and destroys every brain cells in the head, so much so that the addicted cannot make coherent statements.
This one is likely to strap a suicide vest and blow himself and others who fail to accepts his delusions, with expectations of reward in his delusional heaven. Don't mind him. If you see my atheist posts and compare it with the posts I made in that link, you won't believe that it's the same person or I wasn't trolling. That's what religion can do to the mind of a person. Christianity makes one talk like an idiot. |
