In the picture below, form the matrices X, Y and C as shown.

Using the curve fitting application in linear algebra,

C = (X^TX)^-1X^TY

What it means is that you multiple the transpose of X, X^T , on the right by X to form a new matrix, say B, such that
B = X^TX

Then, in a similar fashion, you find the matrix product
A = X^TY

Finally, to get C, Multiple the B^-1, on the right by A, so
C = B^-1A
N.B: you would have to do the workings on your own to verify my answer. I can show my workings but the computation is very very very very tedious, much and long. I only have them on a rough sheet. I was about abandoning it until you said you needed the solution for an exam.

If you reduce the problem to a Diophantine Equation. Number Theory comes in. All you need to do next is to show that x = 2 is the only solution.

f(x) = 2^x + 3^x is a one to one function, it is smooth and continuous in it's domain and it's domain is (-∞,∞). It's range is (0, ∞), therefore the graph of g(x) = 13 will intersect the graph f(x) at one and only one point. Hence the equation 2^x + 3^x = 13 will have only one.

If x = 2 is a solution to 2^x + 3^x = 13 then it is the only solution.

and the computations involved are not mind boggling, I've actually solved a few, but this particular type is giving me trouble.

Though the calculations were very tedious and I postponed over and over again but I have solved your question. I used a technique in linear algebra. If you are interested, I could explain it to you.

Lol. I avoid making friends with girls. Their wahala is just too much. Their cold heart, ego and ungratefulness is just too much.

I remember a friend and course mate of mine who had to repeat 100lvl. So this girl he was friends with started snubbing him each time she saw him. As karma would have it, she failed her courses in 200lvl and looked set to repeat so she called that my friend and started crying and apologising and my friend, like a mumu, accepted the apology.

Why is it that if a girl gets admission before you, they start giving you some attitude? Why do they always feel entitled to your help?

You guys only want the good parts of equality not the responsibility, accountability and consequences.

If you feminists really care about women, how then do you sleep at night knowing fully well the hardship and oppression women in Islam countries face? How can you people ignore that and focus on men in secular societies who love women's rights and call them oppressors and misogynists. If you people really care about gender equality, why don't you vigorously attack the men hating and entitled toxic women who have now defined the feminist movement? Oops, you are all the same. If you people really care about both genders and rape victims, why do feminists always want to believe rape accusers and sweep due process under the carpet?

How come there are a lot of women who are Muslims and feminists? Why are western feminists accepting of Islam? No man is oppressing you or subjugating you, if you choose to be a weak and inadequate assh0le with a victim mentality, that's your choice.
