The 2018 world cup alone generated more than 1 billion dollars in revenue for FIFA,while the female world cup generated about 150 million dollars in revenue...in some female world cups I have seen FIFA making a loss as they didn't generate enough income..and sometimes use proceeds from male football to cover up the losses...
Male football took time(since the 1860s) before it became a global sport generating large income for clubs...but women football started barely 30 years ago and they expect equal pay when in term of popularity n demand,there are no equal to men's football....
The real Madrid female team was created two years ago,n I heard it's from the men's team income that the womens salaries are being paid....
An average Nigerian teenager can list several players from different clubs around Europe but can't barely tell you three female players of the super Falcons...that's to tell you their popularity and demand is still low so they can't be paid equal to the men...
