I spoke to someone (one of my rich toasters huhu) who USED TO work with NNPC he rose through the ranks before leaving for a private oil company.

Same information. He said he spoke to someone who WORKS IN THE GMDs office (high up) about me (I went for the interview) the guy said its ABOVE HIM. I only called him to confirm if my name was on the list but he said he can't see anything it's very confidential. He said I should pray because my state is competitive. Imagine someone working in the GMDs office saying its above him.

Other things he said:
- It's apparently 80% merit 20% politics.
- He spoke to the guy after the Salah break and he told him to expect the letter end of this month.
- They're taking people more from "technical" roles. I'm not sure what that really means. I studied Social Science so I'm not among.
- I didn't ask about TF and APL because he won't know and I'll just look stupid asking about una nairaland theories.

It's nothing I haven't heard here a thousand times. Please don't ask for my state o. Ya girl is trying to stay anon.

Like I've been saying, not every NNPC workers get mouth for this matter, and some NNPC workers or " sources" are just the people that took us to our panel room during interview.

i met a dude, he has an uncle there, old man, i asked him how far, the dude said his uncle doesnt know jack shit about the recruitment and cant help him, so not all are sources, some are as distant from real info like us here.

8am, July 4th, PH, received alert yesterday 20k from Farouk.

It seemed the theory of Farouk/King Ayam is true really. Dunno to what extend though.

My father-in-law works @ NNPC, said they have been systematically sorting out the final list/database of successful candidates thru the credit alerts actually. That may be why it's taking so long to process everything. He knows that one of these two guys is processed for successful candidates, while the other handles unsuccessful ones. But he doesn't know which is which for now.

Whatever the case sha, some of us are settled.

if i received from farouk, i would say this also tho. but why is everyone ignoring the fact that people started receiving alerts the next tuesday when the last interview was the previous thursday and they were not even the ones that did the first interviews. theres not correlation between APL and alerts, i dont have a source for this and im yet to receive an alert. For all we know these two guys may be told to payout for different set of people, Farouk for sciences and King other fields or something of the sort.
