Im not saying they will definitely continue but think about this, on the day of the interview some got notifications as early as 8am while some got around 6pm. While for this it started at around 4 pm and ended 6pm. It might be possible that not everyone was sent mails in the 2 hour timeframe. But whether you get a mail or not just know that it says nothing about your capabilities or lack thereof. I pray Allah comforts those that did not get with better opportunities.

The first thing my joy hazed mind did after receiving the success mail was to log into the portal and it only had the cbt information. I remember the brief anxiety i had but it was later updated. So argue with your keyboard.

The technology thing happened to be a standard question that they asked all the apllicants on my panel oga, not a testament of any lack on our cv. But im sure you did not assume that i have no skills whatsoever

If you don't have any experience in the job you are applying for,you are expected to posses some skills that can make the job training easier to digest.
Don't be surprise when being asked to define technology in an interview after the interviewers must have gone through your cv and see nothing that can convince them to employ you.

The first thing my panel asked me after the introductions was explain technology to us as you would your grandmother for a tiny second i was completely thrown but i regrouped quickly and it turned out to be a good interview. Quite a memorable experience lol.

APL will be out SOON as the GMD said.. but before then, let me drop an info I learnt about recently from my HR Source.. it has nothing to do with the release but rather with a very weird method applied in correcting the first list..

She claimed that a first list was submitted sometime in October but it was met with disapproval from Top Guns in government causing the initial delays and rancours.. mostly because it was claimed to favour more of the west and south and not enough of the north... According to her, on that day she informed us that the GMD called a very short emergency meeting after the Quiz Event, it was resolved that the list should be modified after which online documentation should follow..

.. she said they (HR DEPARTMENT) consequently proceeded to remove some names from some states in order to balance it by adding some names in order states.. NOW the weird gist is, CAN u imagine the method they applied in choosing the new names that were added... she said that in order to be fast with the selection and to make it fair, they logged into the dashboards of the candidates with high scores that were not selected before, then they checked the number of times each candidate had logged in since the interview and the regularity with which they logged in and from there, they selected over hundreds of new names based purely on how often they frequented their dashboard. when my boss asked her why,, she said since the candidates in question all had the necessary high score, they couldn't pick all, they needed a particular number and so it was down to luck... and for the method, she said the logic was that those who were continually checking their dashboard showed that they were really interested in the job and were eager to know if their status had changed but those who didn't log in oftenly might not care much bout the job..

mehn, I was shocked dat day.. that is how many of us here would be called by luck.. from dat day, I began to believe more in prayers ... people who were not in the original list, see how Fate turned tins around for their favour...... just with a weird reason of logging in to ur dashboard oftenly.. that's it... we wait.

Im not saying people should get in on connection or that merit should not be used what im saying is someone somewhere always knows before something big happens. Some even knew about the recruitment before it was made public.

The reality of the situation is some people know this things ahead of time. My father was called a day before the interview mails were dispatched to let him know i will be getting my invite soon. Some have info but chose not to share because people will not believe. So i suggest we all just keep an open mind.

Like every information in life we can choose to agree or not to but abusing people for posting the very information that this thread was created for is irrational. Even the negative energy people should be allowed to do what they want. Freedom of expression and all that. I pray this recruitment comes to a favourable end soon.

Please how does NNPC know what the new criteria that the lawyer will demand for will be? How can they prepare for a criteria that has not come to be yet? NMSL will analyze the results and send their recommendation directly to GHR. You won't get to see either. Only if there is an issue will GHR notify you. Their silence will mean you are fit for duty.

I also posited that they might decide to circumvent that by recruiting clandestinely as that would stop anyone from raising any alarm about recruitment.
