Icon79: Nne, thank you for breaking it down much better than I can ever do.
And you can just add - make Iwobi your creative midfielder. Mikel is too sluggish to be effective in the AM role in Russia. He slows our game down. Make it our deep lying playmaker (Pirlo role) and this team would change.
O pari few weeks ago, everyone said mikel is the only AM in our team and we just need another just incase his injured, now let's push him back Sir, against Croatia we will chase the game, playing mikel and Ndidi deep won't be nice. Ndidi and another DM behind mikel...mikel will end up coming deep to help. Rakitic,Modric, kovacic and co are handfull in that the midfield. Our problem is not the players or formation, our problem is in the players head, they just need to be psych up. we go do well for Russia |

austenite: The coach is making some tactical mistakes, iwobi shouldn't have played deeper owing to the fact that he is more creative than Mikel. Moses should be benched his impact is zero. Shehu should be relegated to the bench for ebuehi. Finally, Mikel obi offers nothing to this team. in conclusion we should bench moses and mikel. last 2 months everyone agreed that they are our best player but now they don't over anything to the team. |

That someone is going to feel like we don't offer much and may decide to not take us too seriously, only to be shocked on match day the way Algeria was shocked we lost against germany and was beating well by holland in 1994 and Spain thought it will be smooth ride and got the shock of there life in 1998. hopeful we can beat croatia on 16th |

my hopes and my expectations remain steady

so help me God I'm with the team too...the boys will shock the boys in Russia, Rohr need to help him self. some position don't need debate. Ebuehi vs shehu should not be a headache |

Oasis007: Fellow Eagulians.
I assure you all - we gonna see a different Eagle at the Mundial. We are able to keep our Tactics away from the Oppositions.
The Oppositions are as confused as the Fans. They don't know what's gonna happen at the Mundial, kinda difficult for the Scouts spying on us to analyze the Team credibly.
Kudos to Rohr, and I'm kinda satisfied with the 2nd Half Display. some how I'm happy for this results...the team will be underrated by Croatia. i still have high hope on the team, we will fly in russia |

safarigirl: Ighalo has done NOTHING in four games or so.
We played our best game without him and Victor Moses, two of them have been useless.
The sooner Rohr drops them to the bench, the easier we can work on a PROVEN formation.
I'm sick and tired of hearing this excuse about lack of service. If dem no pass am ball, make he go find am the way Iwobi dey find ball. that same best game was played by the same midfielders on the pitch now, I'm yet to see coordinated pass between them talkess of forward pass to the striker |

Ighalo should be confined to the bench, please, can we see Simy in the second half? ChrisKels: What a poor team, the full backs are non-existent going forward. Uncordinated midfield, no link between midfield and attack because we have none mobile striker and iwobi out wide instead of the middle.
I don't have Faith in Rohr anymore, he is too inept to lead this team you say?? uncordinated midfield?? no link?? i thought Ndidi and ogu started with mikel?? our problem was never did personnel but system and psyching our team always start relaxed, they need some stick during match from coach or captain or someone |

We need tough discipline and teamwork versus Croats or else, they'll have is for dinner. Almighty Brazil had to wait till 60mins to crack their resolute defence. I hope it's easier for us. But team work will calm hot nerves in the Russian cold. i had to watch that game, Croatia is not that wonderful, they don't seem to understand them self that much. they will rely more on individual brilliance |

EEGA: The probability that we will play 4-2-3-1 against Croatia is now high since this is our last friendly.
My problem is not even Shehu, but Ighalo starting. i see nothing wrong with ighalo...even the goal against England he hit the bar from a difficult angle before iwobi scored. with the 4-2-3-1...i have a feeling Mr rohr is playing mind game with our opponent scout. |

kennysville: Moses can be dropped! U have 2 choices here.... either to take it or leave it. It is these kind of assurances that makes a player do his own thing at the expense of the good of the team. If moses can learn how to cooperate with team mates, i have no problem with it. But at the rate he is going, i sincerely hope over reliance on his style of play will not cost us at the world cup.
I personally dont hate Moses. What I dont like is his seeming arrogance, lack of will to play with team mates and also lack of passion. He can get it right a few times but he gets it wrong most of the time with his selfish play. End of story! moses is not arrogant, stop reading meaning to people body language and facial expressions. |

Kog45: It seem you guys find it difficult to understand Rohr philosophy.
Do you think Simy would have make it with the presence of Simon Moses.
Do you think Rohr rate Ebuehi as we do?No.Hope you remember Ebuehi was dropped from the team against Cameroon, recalled for Algeria match but was on on the bench for a match that we don't need and suspended Shehu was used and it cost us three points.
Ebuehi should thank his star that Argentina 45 mins was his saving grace till today.
So don't be surprised seeing Ebuehi on the bench despite his performance.
Ogu waited till Algeria match to make the team and later had a good performance against Argentina but invitation to Joel Obi put Ogu back to the bench.
Akpeyi really meassed up but Rohr still stick to him.Don't be deceived Rohr rate Akpeyi than Ezenwa,Uzoho was just the face saving, likely Akpeyi would have been number one despite his flaws.
Idowu should count himself lucky that Echiejile had abysmal season he would have been on the bench for Echiejile.
If we want to base it on performance Shehu should be on the bench today. when i told people that i notice Rohr still rate shehu higher they said is a lie, i heard him say shehu was fasting and ebuehi was not having same problem with shehu. or maybe his resting him for the first game |

Icon4s: Rohr has the final say.
I think when he starts with a 4 backline he prefers Shehu but when he switches to 3 backline he prefers Ebuehi.
Seems Rohr has decided to stick to the 4 back and keeps switching to 3 back when the need arises.
Idowu copes well with both set up and that is a plus for both him and the team as no substitution of him is needed to switch tactics.
But Rohr would have to substitute Shehu for Ebuehi to switch tactics.
It is obvious Rohr is not comfortable starting games with 3-5-2.
Let's just watch and see how today's game will play out. Ebuehi can play in both setup, shehu is a defensive midfielder |

Uzoho; Shehu, Ekong, Balogun, Idowu; Ndidi, Ogu, Mikel; Iwobi; Moses, Ighalo. Rohr should not come back and tell us shehu was fasting again o. |
