So he'll tell the coach "No" if told ti play deep? You should rather say I don't think the coach will play him deep.
his a senior player in the team and can actually be consulted before dropping him deep

I won't actually because you asking this only shows your ignorance about some of our players. It is funny seeing someone who claims to support the Super Eagles ask such a funny question. Lol...

P.S: Off the top of my head, I easily recall five of his goals from outside the box right from his days at Man City till now for both club and country. This is why I find your question funny and pretty ignorant. Like you have not been following Nacho at all.

was it not same mikel that have been tipping in the English team to win the world cup...

mikel really suffering from inferiority complex...still remember his reaction after he was elbowed by Giroud against France...something that would have Fetch the French man a card...he took it for fun.

mikel is not an aggressive captain. iwobi reaction that day...made me think twice...same player who has an affinity with England....could mean business when both teams played each other.....

that's the kind of player you need walk through tight rope
mehn e come be like say na iwobi be captain...i hardly see mikel talking to the boys during the match and the corner incident

we were making thesame mistake in the defending of corner and no one could change things up there.

Wow Brian Idowo, Ebuehi, Balogun and Ekong Must be Ghanaian Origin players that used their Ucles to get into the Nigerian National team.

As much as I don't like Echiejile for even one day, nor what happened to Aina, can you beat your chest in Affirmation and say that if Ola Aina was playing in NPFL that he will smell the National team? Truth must be said. There are Nigerian players in lower Leagues that if given the exposure and opportunity Aina was given, we will have a World class left back in our National team. Aina didn't grab his chance when he had it.

Ebuehi was rated lesser than Aina in the beginning. But Guess what? The guy no gree.
He grab his chance and made a strong statement with lesser match appearance than Aina needed to make his. The Match againts Dr Congo burried his Russian ambition, that match would have given him the ticket but he didn’t grab it.

You people are making it look like Aina is a Marcelo. Are you saying that the 5 other FB of Nigerian Origin are not enough inspiration?

Warris all this nonsense rants all about? Rohr is not even a Nigerian and everybody will not go to World cup. Na Sane, Niangollan, Icardi and Lacazete dem commot for World Cup squad list so, heavens never fall.

Warris all this?
yea Rohr didn't rate Ebuehi high, he got his chance and pass with flying color

You have to rate these guys based on the number of minutes they played for the SE.

Etebor was on from start to finish against Algeria in Uyo and he was impressive.

Against Cameroon and Zambia both in Nigeria Agu came in as a substitute and held the CM and DM respectively, together. And these two games were our toughest of the whole qualifiers.

Against Algeria away Etebor was woeful.

Against Congo where we have both players together Agu owned and bossed that midfield with little effort while Etebor almost didn't come to play.

I wouldn't go into Onazi because he is practically done.

My point is that Agu has not started a game for Nigeria and there is no game he played and didn't impress
your performance when you are the substitute we earn you the starting spot.

Agu was dropped for a poor game and you are praising him, i remember Rohr visiting super sport studio and he wad questioned about bringing Agu on when he had better players like Ogu. Although Rohr response was that Agu was one of the best in training. me and you know that is not enough

JUST IMAGINE 7 of our starting 11 having that kind of believe and passion.

I still find it hard to understand why we took our feet off the gas after scoring. The English were in total disarray immediately we scored. I was expecting us to capitalise on that... But our players went on to sleep and left Iwobi all alone to run the show...

The psychologist needs to help the entire team BELIEVE again... They need to see themselves again as champions. They need to understand that the whole of Africa is looking up to them. Beating Zambia, Cameroon and Algeria enroute to qualification no be beans... They must not FAIL.
every ship need a captain to sail, mikel was suppose to be the captain...i was expecting some level of urgency.

mikel and rohr should have fired them on

There are other factors that have prevented Ogu from playing in a top league.

When he was younger, Ogu signed a deal with Almeria then in La liga after his time in Slovenia but he got into a transfer mess with another club in Belgium who had his ITC. When that was sorted, he failed the Almeria medical because he picked up a knee injury whilst trying to keep fit. He moved to Portugal after this.

In Academica in the portuguese top flight, he had a problem with the coach for honoring a call to Nigeria and was benched as a result. He was then out of contract before the Israeli call came.

I do not think, he needs to teach anyone anything but he does have a good shot on him.
to crown it all, bad player management has ruin so many good players career

When you come on is a very very pertinent.

Coming on in the first half of asha80 perfomance by all and in the second half with totally different team tactics makes huge DIFFERENCE.

On total how many minutes did Aina playhuh And in what circumstance.

Aina is clearly better than Echiejile but is dropped why.
is it that you choose to lie or you forget easily, Aina started Algeria and Argentina match which he flopped, and which condition are you talking about, is his condition worst than ebuehi that played with injury

My only advise for Aina is for him to sit at home and watch Ebuehi very well in the worldcup, I'm sure he will learn alot.

It is not about the love Sir Martz. It is actually the truth. Nacho has the best left foot in Nigerian football at the moment. It is a no brainer. Ogu's left foot is awesome too... From his strike that rattled the bar/post against South Africa at the Mandela challenge to the super strike against Algeria... Ogu has it definitely and has been doing such even for his club, Hapeol Beer sheva.... But with Nacho, his own packs everything... Accuracy, power, precision, beauty.. You name it. It is just me saying the truth. wink

Actually everybody knows Mikel is dead slow. Without the ball.his contribution is let's say not great. His closing down almost comical.

However, very very big however, when he has the ball he makes things happen.
Mikel was slow when he was in chelsea but he still chase the ball.

this is just my problem, watch that Ghanaian team that went out in quarterfinal in 2010, they all are chase the ball with passion including boateng.

if iwobi could chase down the ball then Mikel with his defensive midfield experience should be doing the same

what was he doing up there to start with, we had no shot on goal in first half common sense should have told him to withraw back and help, better player than him do that

I believe he was injured that's why he wasn't invited for Algeria and Argentina game. Against Cameroon he grew into the game and was impressive in the dying minutes so was he against Zambia. One thing to take is that Agu has never started any game for Nigeria and has not played enough minutes to be given proper assessment.

Agu played in the Portuguese league, he won a MOTM award and made the Portuguese league team of the week 3 good times or more.

Agu went ahead to replicate the same form in the Turkish league. He won 3 MOTM awards despite being a DMF and made the team of the week not once or twice. Yet how good is he?

Ola Aina is not good but he has won 2 MOTM awards and championship team of the week not once in just his first full season in the Championship and yet he is not good?

For those shouting blue murder that Agu was dropped in place of Onazi or Joel. Onazi's faults recently are just a lot of misplaced passes thats all. A DM is always adviced to play it simple. Worst case, boot it out of touch for throw in. It happened against Congo & England. The guy may be having some issues that are affecting his game which needs to be sorted out soonest.
Believe it or not, Onazi will be his very best soon. And for these players they re hyping now. Watch out and see how they disappear in games when the time comes. I think una see as Vicmo loss like ogiri inside soup against England. I fear for Nacho too.

Make una free Onazi. He don apologize. That was the same player that laid a nice cross to Iheanacho to power home against Cameroon. He may not be in his best form, but we can only hope that when given the chance next, he would put in an improved shift.

As regards Agu, if Ghanaians come here to see the player we are making a fuss over, dem go laugh us. We can live without Agu. Agu is not significantly better than any of the DMs in the team. Take that to the bank. We don’t know all the factors Rohr took into considerations before he made his decision. We are only judging from 20, 30 minutes they put in, in a friendly. When Lokosa was dropped how many monikers came to his defense? If Agu is called up tomorrow, it’s up to him to honor the call. There are many deserving DMs dying for their first call. Two players had to be dropped, and it happenes to be Aina and himself. They have to take the disappointment in professional way, and live to fight another day.
my brother preach on, Agu is been bench by our right back shehu in there club...they no fit please una.

ADO Den Haag Chief: We Were Afraid Ebuehi Would Be Axed From Eagles World Cup Squad
ADO Den Haag Director of Football, Jeffrey van As, has admitted that everyone at the club was scared that Tyronne Ebuehi would not be selected in Nigeria's 23-man World Cup squad.

In truth, van As has a point there as the right fullback had been struggling with a groin injury since March, which made him miss the last five games of the season, before he reported for international duty.

ADO Den Haag will be allocated N53.2 million while Benfica will receive N26.6 million from Fifa for the group stage alone following the inclusion of Ebuehi in the Super Eagles squad.

''In the winter we could have sold Ty. We thought: if we keep him, we can still get that World Cup compensation fee in addition to the training allowance,'' van As told Voetbal International.

''When he got injured a while ago, we were afraid that he would not make it to the World Cup, then our plan had fallen apart. But it worked out just fine.''

He added : ''If a top club like Benfica signs him for five years, then that says something about his qualities. I also see him as one of the very good right backs in the Netherlands last season, but apparently the top clubs from the Eredivisie did not believe in him.

''As far as I am concerned, it is a shame that a talented boy like him is already going abroad''.

Ebuehi wore the Super Eagles jersey for the sixth time in his international career when he came off the bench in the 2-1 loss to England last weekend.

Covering for Idowu would mean taking Idowu's position at the LB, in case Idowu is beaten, he can cover. Going to do Idowu's job and you want to blame Mikel for Onazi leaving his role for others to play it. You can see you are interested in others playing different roles than us playing in an organized fashion. This is why the ship is more stable with Ogu than Onazi.
