Desperate Girls...this is when some of our so called 'church' girls who are single and desperately searching are now going to the extreme just to get any man. especially married men, using all kinds of 'jazz' to hold down a man. In this time and age, its no longer desperate housewives, but desperate singles, as some single ladies are now doing the unthinkable just to get a suitor/husband by all means. some of them having mess around with several men, now become so desperate to get married. Especially when most of their mates/friends are getting married. And by the time they realize that their biological clock has started ticking very fast, with their beauty fading away and men paying less attention/interest in them, they get so desperate and willing to do anything just to hook any guy. And by the time a lady get to such a level, men go begin run oooo. for you to get a suitor, just bring your head down, be a good girl, be responsible, protect your dignity and leave the rest to God...Abi no be so?

Unbreakable...this is when being dumped, doesn't become the end of one's life. no matter what, dont allow any break-up (either from a boyfriend or girlfriend) to cause you any heartbreak or more harm. cos if you do, you're simply causing more harm/damage to yourself while the other person has since moved on and probably having a blast else where. And you are busy sulking and soaking in tears and tissues. reluctant to let go and move on as well. No matter how painful it is, you need to get up, 'dust' yourself and move on. there're a million and one guys or girls out there, who are even far better than your ex. You're simply letting him or her go, since you've had enough of him or her. so let others have their bite too. And dont continue to sulk like Shola, who hasn't been able to get over her ex boyfriend who broke up with her cos of another girl. It's been a year plus, since they broke up, and she's hasn't been able to move on with her life, while her ex boyfriend has since settled down with another girl. Some are faced all sorts of difficulties ranging from exorbitant school fees, inadequate/comfortable accomdoation, lack of funds, lack enough food to eat, lack of books and other study materials and what have you. most times, you find up to 10 students sleeping in an hostel room, with little or no ventilation, no power supply, good toilet facilities, or kitchen space. some cook inside their rooms, beside their door (i.e along the corridors of their rooms),or at the back of their hostel. those that can afford it, eat in dirty or poorly constructed/crumbling canteens where they can easily be exposed to food poisoning. There are also those who dont have toilet facilities in their hostels, and have to use either pits or the back of their hostels as toilets/bathrooms. And not to talk of the issue of sexual harrassment being faced by girls on campus. Schooling in Nigeria presently is like being on the battle field. Except for those whose parents can afford to send them to private universities, to enjoy quality services and 1st class facilities...But God so nice, and due to the vision of some business men, some of our students are now having the opportunity of living in luxurious hostels, though expensive but better than what we used to have in those days. Some people are now erecting fine hostels (self contain off campus apartments), for students to rent. And these off campus hostels have regular power supply, good drinking water, large room space, kitchen space and clean toilet with water etc. and the rents are between #100k and #150k per year. which two or three students can pay for, by contributing the money and sharing the room. And these fine off campus hostels are springing up here and there, and students are paying for them while the owners are smiling to the banks. Cos students like them. many want to come back to a comfortable room/apartment after lectures. bath, cook, relax and also be able to study with ease in the night...So, I believe something should be done to the living condition of our students in school hostels. what many of them go through daily is best imagined than experienced. Govt or the school authorities should not be thinking of increasing and collecting school fees alone, but should also be concerned with the welfare and living condition of students staying in school hostels. Put yourself in their shoes...or even your own children. we are all humans and not animals.

Not Man Enough...most times you hear girls saying a guy is not man enough. and you begin to wonder, what makes a man , man enough when he's already a man/male. Maybe they have their reasons to describing some guys like that. And some girls use that as an excuse to cheat on their guys, when the guy is not man enough. And written below are the reasons why some girls cheat on their guys.

1, If her guy is not fine enough: some girls tend to cheat on their boyfriends with other guys presumed to be finer than their boyfriends. there are girls who melt at the sight of an handsome, tall and well built guy. and at that moment, her boyfriend becomes an 'ex' instantly.

2. if her boyfriend is not that good in bed...there are girls who cheat on their boyfriends if the guy is not good in bed. some go out to satisfy themselves with other able guys.

3. if her guy is a broke ass...there are girls who don't waste time when it comes to cheating on a boyfriend that hardly provide for their needs. such girls get their needs met by sleeping with rich guys who can give them whatever they want. you can imagine, a guy hardly gives his girlfriend money to take care of her needs, but the girl appears to be well taken care of. she fix her hair regularly with Brazilian hair, wear expensive clothes and shoes with designer hand bags, use two black berry phones, owns an ipad, and she is not working, neither is she from a rich home. so tell me, where is she getting all the money to look good, from? from other guys of course. mind you these guys aren't father Xmas. And by giving her money and taking care of her, they get something from her exchange (you know nah)

4. if her boyfriend is not giving her enough attention or love...girls are known to seek and crave for attention and love. and whenever both aren't coming from her boyfriend the way she's expect them, some of them don't waste time before seeking for that attention and love elsewhere. and they do this sometimes to make their boyfriends jealous and also notice them. and you know most guys don't like competition when it comes to their women. so, in order to get the attention of her guy, a girl can decide to flirt openly with other guys and also cheat on her boyfriend just to spite him.

5. if the girl is a born flirt or nympho. that can't do without flirting/sleeping around. there are girls like this. who, no matter what her boyfriend does for her, she'd still cheat on him. even if the guy is as fine and sexy as Cristiano Ronaldo, has enough money like Samuel Eto'o and dot on her like Brad Pitt does to his 'wife' Angelina Jolie, there's no guarantee she wont still cheat on a guy like that. Cos flirting and sleeping around is already in her DNA. I once knew a girl like that way back in school. she was staying with her boyfriend (who was also a friend of mine in school), on campus. and this guy was a rich dude on campus, a karate expert, from a rich family and with siblings based abroad. was good in bed, and was also taking care of her very well. but despite all of this, the girl was still cheating on him. and to rub insult upon injury, she was cheating on him with guys that weren't up to the guy's standard. in terms of looks, built, money, family background and in the area of romance as well. the girl was just a nympho, who was giving it to every tom, dick and harry on campus. the guy eventually broke up with her later, when he couldn't take it any more.

6. And lastly, if she doesn't love her guy...even those that love their boyfriends still cheat on them, how much more a girl that doesn't love her guy. she's bound to cheat on him, cos to her she doesn't owe him anything. maybe the guy is even the one forcing/begging her to be in the relationship against her wish,or she is just in it for economic reasons. there's no how such a girl wont cheat on him, since she doesn't love him...

So, atimes a guy may be 100% ok, but that doesn't guarantee that your babe wont cheat on you, if she wants to. the power is in her hands...Abi no be so?

the prince is a guy who treats his girlfriend like a queen, attend to her needs, gives her a shoulder to lean on, is always there for her, and doesn't even complain nor react whenever she throws her tantrums. He loves his woman the way she is, and does his best to help her overcome her weaknesses. He goes out of his way sometimes to make her happy. take her out for shopping, help her in the kitchen atimes and also tend to her whenever she's ill. But a beast is the exact opposite of a prince. A beast is a guy who is bossy to his girlfriend, always maltreating her, insulting and embarrasing her in public, his own PDA (public display of affection) is always by force and irritating, he monitors her all the time, and always wants an explanation from her whenever she is either late or doesn't pick his calls. and he always wants to know whom she talks to or wherever she goes, most times accompanying her to events not as a partner but more as a bodyguard. He cheats on her regularly, collects money from her atimes, and also demands sex from her as if it's his right. He avoids her whenever she's ill, or in her ....(you know). he's selfish and hardly cares about her needs. He doesn't respect her or show his love for her. to him, his girlfriend is just another trophy or toy. And there are girls out there, who are presently in a relationship with either a prince or a beast. To all the ladies out there, which one is your guy...A prince or a beast?

Most times some girls are usually forced by circumstances to marry not cos of love but because of one thing, one thing. it may be due to either family pressure, financial or material gain, out of desperation, business connection or as a result of poverty. some end up marrying a guy they dont love nor have feelings for. at a point, some of them (girls) may later develop love for their spouse, while others still wont feel anything for the guy despite his show of love and affection and even after having kids. there are those who atimes wish for their husband (whom they dont love) to just disappear or go away, so that they can go back to either their first love or hook up with someone else. And not a few couples are in a loveless marriage or marriage of convenience like some would prefer to call it. They just pretend to be a loving couple, while the opposite is the case in the real sense of it. And this kind 'love' or marriage is very common nowadays among ladies, as many of them now hook up with a guy cos of what they stand to gain from him, and not cos of love. and by the time, the marriage is later faced with some challenges, such girls are the first to take a hike and fly straight into the arms of another rich and comfortable dude. some dont even bother to dissolve their marriage properly before moving on. that's why you see some about to wed couples engaging the services of mobile police men or soldiers to secure and wade off any 'trouble maker' on the day of their wedding. it's only them that knows the reason why they take such measures. and the kind love wey some people dey practice these days, na one kind love, i must confess. Like the case of Shalewa and Dejo (not real names). Dejo wasn't her choice at all, but due to some serious financial need and cos of the poverty in her family, she had no other choice than to marry Dejo, a rich guy she didn't love at all. Dejo knew she didn't feel anything for him, but was hopeful that with time, she'd come to love him. and there was nothing he didn't do for her. she was pampered and treated like a queen. Had two cars to herself plus a driver and maids to attend to her in their big house. And her family also benefited immensely from her marriage. their status was changed for good. as Dejo took them from the low level they were to an higher and commfortable level. While on her part, Shalewa played the role of a dutiful wife very well and also bore him two lovely daughters. But the love still wasn't there. And before you knew it, she later met and fell inlove with another guy completely. A colleague at her office, who just got transferred from another branch. And that was the beginning of the crack in their 'arrangee' marriage. You dont force love, it comes naturally. that's just it. If you dont love someone, then dont marry him or her. though you may fall inlove with the person later in the course of the relationship or marriage. but it's a risky step to take. Cos if there's still no love between the two of you (that is if the love is not mutual), you guys are bound to have issues later...

Love The Way You Are...most times, we are faced with situations that might require us adapting to it somehow, atimes to our own disadvantage. Especially when it comes to the issue of Love and relationship. not a few of us always pray and wish to have a good partner either for marriage or in a relationship. and since none is perfect, each partner is bound to bring a whole lot of differences into the relationship or marriage. some are digusting, irritating or displeasing habits or attitude, which some guys or girls might not be able to cope with after a while. But love they say is Blind, and so therefore, partners shud endeavour to take the person that are dating or married to the way they are. while working with the person towards becoming a better person. if ur girl or guy is a liar, a cheat or indulges in one bad habit or the other, condemning or running away from the person is not the right thing to do. we are in a relationship or marriage to help each other. to help make the other person better, that shud be your job, rather than condemn or abandon the person. Most times this scenario is common with ladies, who are always carrying one baggage or the other. some are too materialistic, annoying, dramatic, deceitful or troublesome, that there is no day her guy wont be called to come and bail her at the station, separate her from a fight, settle her quarrel with a friend/foe, pay her debts, or talk to her parents on her behalf after a family dispute. such a girl is bad news to most guys, despite her beauty and assets, some guys would still run away from such a girl, that is after sampling her assets of course. And what about in the case of a guy, he might be a chain smoker, hot tempered, a born womanizer, liar too, pretend alot, lazy, a glutton, or unserious. there are girls who complain alot about boyfriends who are lazy or unserious and who cheat and lie alot, but yet they are still stuck with the guy cos of love. they stick around with the hope that such a guy would change for good, someday. and some do their best to help make their guys change their bad habits. atimes you would see a girl going to the beer palour to 'retrieve' her drunk boyfriend, after spending the night at the beer joint, helping to clean him up whenever he throws up, arranging/putting his apartment in order (especially those guys who hardly clean or arrange their apartment), cook him a proper meal if he's the type that cant or dont cook, wash his dirty clothes all the time and also assist him with funds whenever he's broke or after lavishing his salary anyhow. There are lovely girls that does things like this for their boyfriends unconditionally and without expecting anything in return. All cos of love. they love their guys the way they are. while hoping and willing to help make him better. They are not those fair weather girls who are like parasites, who only come around to eat his food, collect money from him and give him sex. That's all. whether his room is dirty, smelling or disorganized, that one no concern them. whether the guy is virtually smoking and drinking himself to death, e no concern them. all they are interested in, is money for hand , back for ground. and if the guy happens to go down, they dont waste time in jumping into the arms of another man. Shikena! In marriage or relationship partners shud endeavour to love each other the way they are, and work towards making each other a better person...

A Time Like This...Life itself is a mystery. Though filled to the brim with millions upon millions of people, its still a lonely place. When you're left alone after your kids are all grown up and gone their seperate lives, leaving you all by yourself without a wife or an husband. What are you going to do to avoid being lonely and unhappy? Are you going to become a cougar or a sugar daddy. by getting yourself a younger partner to fill the vacuum created by the absence of either your kids or a partner in your home. or by joining a golf club and start playing golf and mixing with those in the same situation. or by opening a restaurant/club (if you're a woman), starting an adult program in order not to be bored or by bringing some girls to come and live with you so as to not be lonely. or by going to live in the village where you would be surrounded by vicious minded kinsmen/parasites. What are you going to do? And at a time like this, some are made to live in solitude due to circumstances beyond their control. while some die out of loneliness, when they are tired of being alone and doing the same thing everyday alone. When there's no one to talk to or relate with. All they have are just memories of the past. of a wife or a husband they once had, of a house once filled with kids and excitement, and of happy moments once shared with family and loved ones. Sometimes they wish they could turn back the hands of time, and forever be with their loved ones. But nah, it's all gone. With everyone gone to his or her own 'tent'. Such is life. And what an interesting world we live in, when you are with your family in the morning having breakfast and having fun, and doing some catching up in the afternoon, only to watch as they disappear into the distance by dusk. waiting and hoping to see them once again before the light is put off...Please, no matter how busy you are, always find time to visit your folks (parents) and spend some time with them. Or get someone to stay with them and keep them company. Dont forget or abandon them. And no matter what, they are still part of your life...

Cheating is not good for ladies. Cos ladies are known (suppose to) to look good and smell fine all the time. But cheating smells like dirt. So, you see why I said it's not good for ladies to cheat. Those that cheat on their partners, are like filthy rags. And they smell like dirt (those that cheat on their partners see themselves as such)...

Baby I dont Hate You But I cant Date You...this is when an ex is trying to come back after a break-up. it could either be a guy or a lady. who is reluctant to let go of an ex boyfriend/girlfriend, despite the fact the other person has since moved on or is not interested in getting back together. there are some ex who do all they can to come back into the life of their ex partner (boyfriend or girlfriend). by being over nice to him or her, always by her side whenever he hears she's ill or in need, by calling her regularly, checking on her or by using gifts to try to buy his way back into her heart (especially in the case of a guy). But despite all of this, he or she may still not be able to win an ex back. either due to the pain of the past or cos the girl is no longer interested in him, has since moved on/ with a better partner. we do have cases like this, where you see an ex doing his or her best to make up and restart a dead relationship despite the refusal of the other person. like the case of Benson, who after being left by his girlfriend Onome, he still didn't want to let her go. He begged her, sent emissaries to her and also made a lot of promises to her, but yet Onome refused to take him back. she still liked him though but maybe has her personal reasons for refusing to get back together with him. the best thing for the guy to do in a case like this, is to just let her go. cos in most cases, when you force someone via any means to come back to you, against his or her wish or reluctantly, you are only inviting more trouble for yourself and also for the relationship you are hoping to start again with an ex. My advice is for one to just let go. and like they say " there are many fishes (even golden ones) in the river"

I've noticed that some people despite being adult and matured, still dont wash their hands after using the toilet. Most times, after using the toilet they will just wipe their hands against each other or rub them on their clothes (especially trousers/skirts)and that's it. no washing or cleaning of their hands. and this dirty habit is common with people from a particular area (wont mention the places). I dont know why. and the same thing apply to those who rub their hands on their clothes after using it to pick their nose. Can you imagine? We should endeavour to be hygienic and clean at all times. This can also help protect us from diseases (e.g Cholera etc). this one that alot of diseases are flying here and there nowadays. one really has to be careful and also keep his or herself clean always!

Relationship is not all about give me this and give me that. When a lady is meeting a guy newly or just started dating a guy, she shouldn't be in a 'haste' to start demanding for money from the guy. Except you're not interested in the guy and want to 'pepper' him well well (and this is not good as well). But dont behave like this if you know you really like the guy and you are interested in the relationship and also want it to work. Dont be a demanding partner. Cos doing this might kill the interest of the guy in the girl (that is if the guy has genuine interest and intention towards the girl). Some girls are known to behave like this. they tend to make money a top piority in their relationship. demanding for this and asking for that, at every now and then.therefore killing the love or interest the guy might have in her, as a result of her love for money and material things. So, dont let your relationship be based on money, money,money. seek for companionship first and other things would follow. every man knows the need of a girl (in a relationship). and its his duty to perform his role as a man in the relationship...

I've just discovered the new code/method being used by some 'runs' girls these days. Especially those ones on campus. Whenever any of them is going out of town to do her runs or meet her lover(s), she is always telling whosoever cares to know that she's going for a wedding somewhere. And she does this almost every weekend, as you will never find her at home or on campus most weekend. Cos she's always going for one wedding or the other every weekend, only to return on sunday or monday morning. and funny enough you'll never see or see them upload pics of the so called wedding they went for. maybe dem no dey take pics for such 'weddings' *wink*

So, whenever i see a girl checking her boyfriend's handset for msgs from secret lovers, or clothes and closets for any info/details of his secret affairs with other women, the thing dey tire me. cos, if a guy wants to cheat on you, he go do am well well. if you like monitor am from now till december. the same thing with a girl. you can't monitor a girl. Anytime she goes out, she will surely meet alot of men, either at the office, in school or at the markert. or when walking on the street. even if you like, seize her phone or keep her inside ur house, lock the door and go with the keys. All na waste of time. cos she'd still find a way of communicating/seeing any secret lover. and with the emergence of technology and the internet, cheating and flirting has now become very easy and interesting (to some people).cos a guy or a girl can be at home and be communicating and cheating on his/her partner on the internet. especially on facebook or twitter, whenever his or her partner is not around. Do you know how many guys and girls cheat on their partners on facebook or twitter. with all their lies and pretence online. luring, seducing and deceiving many guys and girls online, when they are already in a relationship (whether open or serious). So, there's nothing one can do to prevent his or her partner from cheating on him/her or straying a little. Even couples are also in the same dilemma. A man can't because he wants to monitor his wife, now abandon his work or business. except he also wants to become a full time house husband. even at that, all na waste of time. and a wife too can't monitor her husband. you wan follow am go work, or accompany him whenever he's going on a business trip? doing that wont stop a philandeering husband from still cheating on his wife. if he wan do am, he go still do am, even under her nose. the best thing to do, is to just leave everything to God. And make sure he's protected. There are some girls who are not even bothered if their boyfriend is cheating on them. Do you know how many guys and girls cheat on their partners on facebook or twitter. with all their lies and pretence online. luring, seducing and deceiving many guys and girls online, when they are already in a relationship (whether open or serious). So, there's nothing one can do to prevent his or her partner from cheating on him/her or straying a little. Even couples are also in the same dilemma. A man can't because he wants to monitor his wife, now abandon his work or business. except he also wants to become a full time house husband. even at that, all na waste of time. and a wife too can't monitor her husband. you wan follow am go work, or accompany him whenever he's going on a business trip? doing that wont stop a philandeering husband from still cheating on his wife. if he wan do am, he go still do am, even under her nose. the best thing to do, is to just leave everything to God. And make sure he's protected. There are some girls who are not even bothered if their boyfriend is cheating on them. In Some Preacher's House, there are drunkard, wife batterers, sons that belong to cult groups, promiscuous daughters, unfaithful and troublesome wives. Some preachers are known to be wife batterers at home, but every sunday you see them mounting the pulpit and preaching against such act most times. they tongue lash their congregation and talk against children with bad characters when their own kids are guilty of such acts. And while some scold other girls, their own daughters are chronic night crawlers and hardly spend a night at home. As leaders and preachers of God's word, they ought to live an exemplary life. worthy of emulation. And We generally, need to work on ourselves and try keep our house in order first before working on others. so that we'll be able to stand firm, boldly and with confident whenever we are leading/talking to others. Cos whosoever you are, people will always look for faults...

Everybody is a Racist...whether black or white. cos most people do practice one form of segregation or the other in their home or office. And segregation is also an act of racism. If you are not a racist, then why do you treat your own kids better and favourably than the househelp in your home. Sometimes these househelps might even be related to either the wife or the man of the house in a way. But yet she's treated differently and unfairly. and some men are also known to treat their mistresses/girlfriends better than their wives. and there are those who also treat their wives better than their own mothers. saying that their wives comes first. forgetting the sacrifices and labour your mother or family might have made to get you to where you are as a man. Some even treat their dogs or pets better than their security man or cook. if you see what some dogs are fed, it's far better and more nutritious than what most maiguards (security man who guards a house) eat daily. together with the meagre amount, some collect as salaries. some wives are also known to buy the best dress and shoes for their own kids, but give their house girls third hand or used clothes and old shoes to wear. is this not a form of segregation? you and your family eat on the dinning table, eating and drinking the best of meals and juice everyday, while your house girl/boy is made to eat his or her meals sitting either on the floor or on a small stool in the kitchen. You and your kids dress elegantly everyday, while your house boy or girl are clothed in either rags, worn out or over-size clothes. making them look haggard while you and your kids look gorgeous all the time. is this not segregation? There are even some who intentionally starve their house helps atimes (maybe as a punishment for an offence committed). And if you see the amount of food they waste in such a house everyday, you will pity their house helps who are most times starved. And every sunday you give your house help #50 or less to give as offering in the church, while you and other members of your family give #500 or more as offering. And there are those who dont allow their house help to sit in the sitting room or watch TV. they are made to stay in their room, whenever they are not over working cooking, washing or cleaning the house 24/7. I can go on and on, for there are several acts of segregation some people practice either in their homes or offices against others, knowingly or unknowingly. and yet, they are always the first to scream and complain of racism or segregation in other places. when they are also guilty of the same offence. Why is it that a girl who cheat steady on her boyfriend is always jealous whenever she sees her boyfriend with another girl. I thought those girls who cheat on their boyfriend, do so cos they dont love the guy. Then why the jealousy?

Most guys also do this. especially the womanizing ones, who cant take their eyes off ladies. their status on facebook or twitter is ever single or not in a relationship. when they actually have one or two girlfriends. and they do this, to deceive and win over girls easily. and whenever they are caught, they are quick to tell you that the other girl is his distant or first cousin. And their wives dont know what their hubbies do online. they dont know that their hubbies have already 'divorce' them on facebook. so that they can be able to date/flirt with enough girls online. And we also have some married women who do the same thing. Some of them dont wear their wedding band once they out of the house or whenever they are meeting other men. It gives them the freedom to behave like a 'single' lady again. But sha, it's not common with married women. Cos, being married is a thing of pride in this part of the world.
