sumex20:Ask whoever took part in the exercise in Delta state on the 6th. One of the top immigration officers there who was part of the panel gave out this info after wednesday's exercise. According to the man, they're working with 3 partners, which chams happens to be one of, and he plainly said scores from the physical exercise would be sent to chams and their other two partners to add to the CBT scores and forward to ABJ. Anyone who was in Delta on the 6th can confirm this. |
sumex20:. Let's keep hope alive and be prayerful. The truth is that immigration officers have a little role to play here. In Delta state (I guess it was also like that in other states) there was a man in the final panal who was from the federal character commission. After the whole exercise I approached him and he told me that LGA would be a major factor here, he also said the immigration officers at this state, would only make their recommendations, score all applicants and send it back to chams (dragnet) to add to the other scores that applicants had in the CBT, after that, Chams would send the final accumulated scores to Abuja where Abuja would decide what and how to go about it. The immigration officers are not really in charge of this exercise. Let's just keep hoping that whatever method they want to use, God would qualify us. |
princeDejidayo:You won't see any result, a list would be released containing the name of successful applicants. After which a mail would be sent to them telling them where to report and when to report for their appiontment letter. They don't release result cos of the principle of federal character, someone may score 80% in a zone nd not be shortlisted while someone may score 50% and still be shortlisted as a result of his state of origin and LGA. Just keep hoping your name would be in the list that Abuja releases. |
Funminicrown:Very very true. The guy from the federal character commisssion who was part of those overseeing the process in Delta, told me local government and abuja would play a very big role. Everyone has to be prayerful. Cos u may not reach all the requirements! But may be the best from your local government. On the other hand, you may reach all requirements but still be one of so many from ur local government to reach all. Either ways, everyone needs a higher power to go through at this stage. My own higher power na my God. |
Just had mine in delta. It was smooth. At the end, we were all adviced to pray and pray hard. According to the man I spoke to who was one of the oga's conducting the interview, he said someone reaching all the requirement is not an automatic guarantee that you'd get the job, while someone who misses one or two (maybe height etc) does not mean an automatic disqualification. According to the man, other factors come into play and there's also an abuja factor, because eventually, it is Abuja that would do the final shortlisting. The states are to just assess and comment. let's all hope in the power that is higher than our power. Me I'm putting my hope in God. |

olapluto:On the contrary, that part just exonerated GEJ. He directed the kerosene subsidy be stopped, but the thieves in NNPC were still using that as an avenue to siphon money. The rot in NNPC didn't start under GEJ. I remember a journalist some years back saying Yar'adua's death was fast tracked the day he decided to open the books of NNPC, cos Yar'adua received the shock of his life. A shock he never recovered from. Trust me, it would take more than GMB to cleanse NNPC. NNPC is the biggest scam in Nigeria. It has always been. GEJ is just making us have a first hand view of the real picture. Something other administrations didn't do. However, GEJ should receive his own share of the stick for allowing this happen under his nose. The same way every past leader should be probed and receive their own fair share. |
hammer2010:. Exactly. Maybe his own was like that, but mine wasn't like that. |
MEDOLAB:I don't know about urs. But in my own test, it was impossible to pick more than one answer in the comprehension. If u've already clicked on one answer, the moment u click on another, ur former tick disappears. Pls be sure of what you're saying so u don't confuse others. |
Wow! Apga wins an Election in Taraba and Bayelsa. Who says Apga isn't growing |
OmoOlomu:Yes. I eventually saw the mail in my spam folder. Thanks. |
Tesiday:Forget all those ones. The questions are not being repeated. The questions I saw today are entirely different from yesterday's |
OmoOlomu:I didn't receive any mail from dragnet. I only received a text from them. Anybody with this same issue? |
From the look of things, it looks like they're not repeating questions. |
Pls I need directions to the venue from computer village. My venue is chams city. 2 Isaac John. Thanks guys. |
OmoOlomu:Ur number is off. I've been trying to call you. |
Please guys. Is there anyone here who got his medical report from Surulere General Hospital, or Ajeromi General Hospital. Please how much did you pay and how did you go about it. Any info would be appreciated. |
Pls can I upload my docs after the test? My test is on tuesday, but I'm yet to upload. |
Pls anyone with an idea on how I can get materials to study? |
APC should just forget Rivers and tell Amaechi to move on. The truth is Amaechi is very popular in Rivers, but he's popular for the wrong reason. People see him as a betrayal to a fellow Niger Deltan. The context in Rivers wasn't between PDP and APC (APC is almost non-existent in Rivers, because the entire political machinery in Rivers is PDP). The context was between the entire PDP machinery against Amaechi. There was no way Amaechi would have gotten anything out of the Rivers battle. I'm not denying that there were no irregulaties. Yes, there were irregularities, but the truth is a party can only rig an election where it is the most popular party. I think the irregularities was not to make PDP win, (PDP would surely win Rivers), the irregularities were simply to pass some messages to Amaechi that he's not as popular as he think is, he doesn't have the love of the people as much as he thinks, and he doesn't have control of the state as much as he thinks he does. |
Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa was born on July 8, 1959 in Owa Alero in the present Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State. He had his early education at the Iroro Primary School, Owa-Alero and later attended the famous Edo College, Benin City between 1970 and 1976. He came out with the second best result in the Higher School Certificate Examination in the then Bendel State in 1976. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Ibadan to study Medicine and Surgery. Senator (Dr.) Ifenayi Okowa graduated in 1981 with M.B.B.S, at the record age of 22. Upon his completion of the National Youth Service Corps in 1982, he worked briefly with the defunct Bendel State Hospitals Management Board as a Medical Officer before he went into private practice as Director, Victory Medical Centre, Igbanke in 1986. Believing later that charity should begin at home, Senator (Dr.) Okowa later set up the Victory Medical Centre at Boji-Boji, Owa. He endeared himself to his people through his humanitarian disposition as he often rendered free service to the very poor in his community. Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa displays a highly developed craftsmanship in his work. Evidence of his constructive leadership can be seen in his growing political profile. He took interest in the public service and between 1991 to 1993 served with great diligence and outstanding success as the: >Secretary to the Ika Local Government and >Pioneer Chairman, Ika North- East Local Government Council (1991 to 1993) In preparation for the return of the Country to Democratic rule, he pitched his tent with the Peoples Democratic Party in 1998. Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, however, first served as the Delta North Coordinator of the Grassroots Democratic Movement (GDM); Delta North Coordinator of the James Ibori's Campaign Organisation in 1998 and Secretary of the Transition Committee, which ushered in the James Ibori's Administration in 1999. Since then, there has not been any turning back for this Medical Doctor turned politician and statesman. It was not surprising therefore that in recognition of his hard work, loyalty, honesty and dedication, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa belongs to the Special Grade of Commissioners who had eight years of unbroken service as members of the Governor James Ibori- led Delta State Executive Council. During the period he served with diligence and outstanding result in the following positions: >Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources (July 1999 to April 2001); >Hon. Commissioner for Water Resources Development (April 2001 to May 2003) and >Hon. Commissioner for Health (September 2003 to October 2006). Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa resigned honourably to contest the 2007 gubernatorial election in Delta State. After the Party's Primaries, like the tactful achiever that he is, Senator (Dr.) Okowa did not sit back at home to sulk over the turnout of events at the PDP Primaries. He thereafter, served as the Director General of the PDP Campaign Organisation in Delta State and later the Secretary of the 34 member Transition Committee which prepared the blueprint for the take-off of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan Administration in Delta State. He was the Secretary to the Delta State Government between 2007 and 2010 when he resigned to contest for the Delta North Senatorial District election which he won. Presently, Senator (Dr.) Okowa is a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Delta North Senatorial District at the National Assembly. He has been honoured by the Anglican Communion as a Knight of St. Christopher and also bestowed Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club International. He is a recipient of the Award of Excellence by NANS, Retract Club of Asaba and Vice- Chancellor Award of the Delta State University, Abraka. He was also decorated by the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) as an Achiever; recognized as one of the five best Health Commissioners in the Federation. Senator (Dr.) Okowa has been variously acknowledged by the Tell Magazine in 2005 and News watch Magazine for his outstanding leadership in the Health sector which placed the Delta State Ministry of Health, under his management, as among the best ten Health Ministries in Nigeria. Today, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa has to show for his effort in the Health sector, the magnificent Delta State Teaching Hospital, Oghara, which he saw to fruition. Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, an ideal family man is happily married to Dame (Mrs.) Edith Okowa and the union is blessed with four children. |
I said it. Any news that favours APC which cannot be found on punch, thenation, saharareporters, premiumtimes, TVC, etc. Is at best fake and can only be described as social media reports. I wonder why people celebrate social media reports, even when they know that anyone can sit on a toilet or room somewhere and spread one fake news on social media. |
This story reminds me of the fake story about David's Mark loss. It was all over nairaland, eventhough it was without any source. This story is all over nairaland, yet there's no source. I wonder how nairalanders would be jubilating over stories like this |
No need for argument. The guy thumb printed for APC. But the funny thing is, according to report from coolfm, the guy escaped. Thugs from the area came to his rescue and allowed him escape. |
itproman:In most cases in Nigeria and Africa, when an incumbent runs neck to neck against his opponent, just know that the incumbent is in trouble. |

—–Says defectors are fair weather friends By Johnbosco Agbakwuru ABUJA—–SENATE President, David Mark, yesterday ruled out the possibility of him defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC, which will have the majority members in the 8th senate, saying that he had no reason to jump ship. There have been speculations that the Senate President and his Deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, were contemplating dumping the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the APC, so as to remain relevant in the leadership of the National Assembly. About 24 hours after the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu had vowed to remain with the PDP despite the fact it will be in the minority in the 8th senate to commence June this year, Senator Mark said even if every other person would leave the PDP, he would still be the last person to do that. Speaking at the Church Service to Mark his 67th birthday at St. Mulumba’s Catholic Church, Apo, in Abuja, Senator said, “I have no reason to jump ship. I will not leave the PDP. I will be the last man standing for the PDP. The party gave me the platform to be where I am today. “I will stay in the PDP to contribute my quota to the rebuilding and restructuring of the party. This is democracy. Winners emerge and the losers goes back to the drawing board and rejuvenate.” He further “The outcome of the presidential election in favour of APC is the will of God and majority of NIGERIANS. We, in the PDP have accepted the result in good faith. “Those drifting to the APC now are fair weather friends of the PDP. They are seeking new green areas. When the PDP bounces back, they will seek another return to the PDP. “I believe in PDP manifestos . I will work hard to bring the party back on track. What is important is that we have established democracy in Nigeria.” Speaking at the occasion, the Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, eulogised the Senate President for the wisdom he had used to pilot the affairs of the National Assembly adding that his (Mark) continued contributions to socio- economic and political development of the country cannot be undermined . Also speaking, Senator TUnde Ogbeha prayed God to grant the Senate President good health, long life and courage in the years ahead. Clerk to the National Assembly, ALhaji Salisu Maikasuwa commended the Senate president for his resourceful leadership and harmonious working relationship between the management and the political leadership. In his homily, the Parish Priest of St. Mulumba Catholic Chaplaincy, Rev. Fr. Innocent Jooji said only God determines the destiny of all human and that “whatever the future holds for each and everyone of us is determined by God, we should continue to have faith in God.”.
