Well, you've said well OP. But the major grudge is that the playing field isn't level for both.

Imagine a situation where you're given bulky materials to read a week b4 exam in like 3 or 4 courses out of 7 you're doing... .imagine having missing score, error in compiling results, having a lazy course adviser, having sadistic lecturers...how will your hardwork be rewarded??

In as much as what you said is true but the crucible which most first class, 2.1 and even 2.2 graduates of public schools are made to pass makes private schools look like our secondary school.
