I understand what the topic is saying. People like your dad were lucky they had employers or bosses that appreciated their 'work place talents' but their are some bosses who will just use your talents without appreciation. My take is to use your talents if the system is worth it or you're just doing it for personal satisfaction.

After I connected my phone to a public system in my work place, I had this issue... But my smadav antivirus fixed it

If you didn't do anything to it then I suspect the driver updated itself. Go to device manager and roll back the driver

It did not roll back o and I checked events and saw no updates done.. Pls any other solution??

I have the same issue not long and this is how to solve it

1.go to DEVICE MANAGER
2 find NETWORK ADAPTER
3 UNINSTALL THE WIFI DRIVER note!!!don't click on Remove from computer.
4 Restart your computer....

Pls I just discovered this morning that my WiFi refused to turn on this morning after using it well to connect to my phone hot-spot yesterday.. Can this solve the problem too??
