TippyTop:
Did you read those articles posted by atlwireles? Or your brain is too small to decipher the article?
You're a brainless slowpoke intent on waging a mindless smear campaign against an upright man whose regime I was old enough to experience and whose time at PTF ensured execution of laudable projects across the country which I also witnessed. I reckon there is hunger in the land for many, but for hired e-thugs like you to thoughtlessly sacrifice your future and
that of your children for crumbs falling off a politician's table and attempting to misinform the public on the only man that served Nigeria selflessly makes you undeserving of any good thing. Only thieving politicians dread GMB because he doesn't mess about and will duly consign them to jail terms. Therefore they are bent on stopping him through smear campaign and have found your likes as worthy allies. You obviously belong not to the order of humans but cold-blooded reptiles.
PoliticsRe: You Can Ban The Press If They Will Embarrass A Public Officer - Buhari by Maser: 5:11pm On Feb 01, 2015
Say what you like about Buhari. We know he is upright. If banning press will make him fix Nigeria. So be it! Press freedom does not put food on the common man's table. Lest you forget, under his regime, $1=N2 and he never borrowed a kobo from foreign creditors.

We love GMB!

For posterity sake remove this paid publication and concocted lies out from Nairaland.

You think we weren't alive then. What sort of journalistic and political fraud of article is this?

For a valid news article, the names of the roads with their corresponding distances and types of work done should be listed and not this junk.

How does it sound to list the names of cities as project sites without further details?

Can't you differentiate between political talk and reality.

Can you imagine that corruption laden PTF was described as transparent and corruption free.

With what we now know about corruption and mismanagement of PTF funds and the recoverables, can this paid publication of a political fraud stand scrutiny?
You're a disgusting politically-hired internet warrior bent on turning the truth on its head. Buhari is an upright man and it is only those of you on the side of darkness that would attack his sterling qualities.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan’s Biggest Economic Mistakes — Pat Utomi by Maser: 3:21pm On Feb 01, 2015
I want every Nairalander to understand one thing. Most of the people who sound irrational with their comments even in the face of poking facts belong to a cult of politically-hired internet warriors. I learnt of recent that many of them are on the payroll of PDP, APGA etc as full time employment to attack any thread and anyone that is inimical to their cause and to mis-inform the public especially the gullible. These people have sold their birthright for a plate of pottage. Trust politicians, they'll be used and dumped like they do hired political thugs. Little wonder someone could attack Utomi despite his well articulated screaming facts.

PoliticsRe: Here Is A 1959 Cambridge School (WAEC) Certificate by Maser: 5:23am On Jan 23, 2015
moderatorr:
Buhari never mentioned that his cert was lost. That would have been a different story altogether.
1. He said it was with the military.
2. Then he said it was confiscated by IBB after ousting him.
3. Then he said it was with his secondary school principal.
4. Then he said PDP was using it to blackmail him
5. Then vanguard leaked a faked cert

That is the issue, he didn't say it was lost,
because then, it would mean he had obtained it, then lost it.
The case here is different.
Ignoramus, Buhari actually did say his certificate was lost when IBB overthrew his government.

Desperado! Look at the lower right hand corner of the document and see that it was issued today 21-01-2015. It is not the main copy as that cannot be issued but kept in the school's archive. This document is a re-issue based on the records in the school. Sorry to burst your bubble as I know you're already feeling like a genius who just made a fantastic discovery as captured in your word "busted". If you were smart you should already be asking what these politicians will do for you not what certificate the have (sentiments). Once upon a time Anambra state had a PhD governor under whose administration children did not go to school for more than a year. You guys're really daft to be wasting opportunity to ask valid questions dwelling on baseless certificate issue. If you doubt the certificate, write cambridge who conducted the wasc back in those days and they'll reply you. Oyibo sabi reply mail quick, they nor be waec.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Overthrew Shagari Over $2.8b Oil Scam: Tinubu Wants APC VP Slot – Ikimi by Maser: 9:57am On Jan 20, 2015
Tom Ikimi (Abacha's spokesman who sold his conscience to defend the hanging of Saro Wiwa) is on a vengeance mission against APC because a few months ago he contested for the position of APC National Chairman and lost. He then decamped back to PDP. He's out to bring down APC through a campaign of calumny against an upright man. Tom has no political principles, he's a political prostitute more or less. If it doesn't work for him, he brings down the house. Nigerians are gullible and swallow any falsehood being spewed out by these polotical hoodlums.

PoliticsRe: General Olukolade And Oby Ezekwesili Vent Anger On Each Other Over BIU Crisis by Maser: 2:57pm On Jan 15, 2015
Nigerians are stupid and that's why we have bad leaders. In advanced countries, people like Oby who speak the truth without sycophancy would be venerated, but not here. They abuse her instead. I keep asking myself how we got to this level where our people now think backwardly. The abuses here goes to show that Nigerians deserve the bad leadership they are getting because they are incapable of commonsense and funny enough, they still think they are wise. Never knew e-fools abound in nairaland this much!

The message is so on point though you may have issues with the messenger. Nigerians don't be gullible by PDP's empty promises. Don't go for another four years of looting and impunity. Time to rescue this country cos our revenue(oil) and security have suffered severe hit under PDP. Buhari can do this job well. Let's give him the chance!

PoliticsRe: Nigeria History with the "Organization Of Islamic Conference (oic)" by Maser: 10:18am On Jan 02, 2015
To start with. I'm a christian, but to buy into cheap PDP propaganda is beneath my intellect. They've played this religious card severally against Buhari in the past and it worked because Nigerian's are very gullible. Fact is, there is a vicious campaign of calumny by the PDP political class against Buhari because they've stolen so much these years they've been in power and therefore are scared to death that Buhari's emergence as president destines them to long jail terms as he previously did. Let's not forget that corrupt politicians he jailed during his first stint are still very active players today and wouldn't fold their arms to let him emerge but would rather sling all sorts of mud at him through articles like this. Were it IBB (who by the way registered Nigeria in OIC), this sort of article wouldn't ever be written because they know it will be easy day for them.
Fact is, as a military head of state, you rule by fiat. You could give orders for Nigeria to be registered and it is done. But Buhari didn't do it because he didn't want to. Don't forget his regime was feared. If he had done it nobody would have coughed! Now question is, if he didn't do it as a military head of state, is it as a civilian President during which his actions would have to be vetted and approved by the National assembly that he could? As a matter of fact, constitutional issues like Islamisation would require both national and state assemblies for assent before any president could implement it.
Buhari addressed this issue sometime in the past and stated that he personally refused to register Nigeria in OIC during his time in office only for IBB to do it. But this is election time, therefore they made very 'clever' attempt to drag him into the background of an issue (he refused) because they know Nigerians are gullible and would buy anything dished out in the media without verifying. Quote me (MASER) in the future, "If Buhari fails to become president this time round, Nigeria would have lost a golden opportunity to snap out of an ominous cycle of corrupt govts and institutions for a very long time to come", and those of you gullible minds should always remember MASER said it. It happened in 2003 when I told friends they should go for GMB rather than OBJ, they refused and OBJ failed them and corruption continued grew, then again in 2011when he contested with GEJ and here we are today with"stealing is not corruption. Sorry people, "Every nation deserve the kind of leaders they get" said a wise fellow.

Only God decides the fate of men and for someone like you mocking people for their fate, I only have feelings of pity for you in your brash display of pride as if you have firm control of the events of your own life in your hands. EducationRe: Most Difficult Universities To Make First-Class In Nigeria? by Maser: 2:31pm On Nov 03, 2014
Dumb thread! Since when did difficulty in making first class become a thing of pride for institutions. It is rather an indictment on low standard of education in such institutions and that is how the civilized world sees it. The lecturers failed to impart knowledge and hence the woeful outcome. Universities are supposed to pride themselves in producing many firsts.

Keshi you have done well and have every reason to be proud of your achievements. Your exit will prove to Nigerians that you are not their problem. The way these ignoramuses abuse you reminds me of the way they abused Amodu Shaibu as a parting gift after each of his runs with the eagles only to hire him again and again. It's a country of no-brainers. Time and events will vindicate you. Let us wait for the whiteman and see if he will out-perform you. While at it, you remain the most successful Nigerian coach ever. You achieved in 2 years a nations cup that took our great Westerhof four years. You also qualified and took us to second round of the world cup just like you qualified two other African countries. All these while NFF owed you salaries, no house, with your important staff Sylvanus removed which they can't dream of doing to a white coach. Not all of us are ingrates. Even if your services are no longer required, a coach like you should be disengaged with honour not insults. You don't deserve it. Godspeed Big Boss!

What do they mean by made. In Nigeria? The design is foreign, the metal for fabrication is not from ajaokuta, the interior is imported. Even the technologist/ engineers are foreign. So what makes it made in Nigeria. This govt and lies. Sha.
You don't seem to understand how manufacturing works these days. No country manufactures everything. The Hondas, Toyotas and Chryslers you drive all have vast supply chains with different components drawn from manufacturers scattered around the world. When they tag it made in Japan, it only means assembled in Japan. Airbus for example has over 2000 suppliers of different parts of a plane around the world. The fixed wing is assembled in the UK while the rest of the body in france. In our case therefore, its still very much made in Nigeria and will create jobs here which is what matters most.
BusinessRe: FG To Spend N1 Trillion On Petrol Subsidy In 2015 by Maser: 1:01am On Oct 17, 2014
bushdoc9919:
Tis a lot of money....that would have been spent on a lot of things like infrastructure projects, universities, etc...

But we wanted cheap fuel (Which we REALLY can't get because we are producing less than we need for domestic consumption, but let's not get too factual here).

The honest truth is that we are importing fuel, the govt does not have money to build new refineries (and the private refineries promised are on the drawing board). Meanwhile, we are exporting less petrol than the United Arab Emirates....and for a population of 160million people(UAE has 8million).

The sad thing is that the fuel subsidy has to go. Yes, we will get high fuel prices, and I for one don't like having to pay up to N200 for a liter of fuel under the new regimen. But the sad thing is that we are pouring money that we do not have down a bottomless pit....and it is high time we stopped.

Ultimately, Nigeria has to get off oil....and become an industrial society. Maybe the oil subsidy money can be used for things like roads, railways, power, etc...that would fuel our industrail development...leading to jobs galore, and an end to unemployment.

But we Nigerians want free things. We don't want to work for our supper. The rich want their free bee money and the poor want their free fuel...Both want their slices of the oil cake...with no thought as to how the cake is baked.

Oil is a curse.
I like your submission. Very intellectual unlike some nLanders who don't understand basic economics and whose ignorance are easily preyed upon by politicians who like to play to the gallery. Some people think Nigeria is rich. Nigeria ain't rich when you take our huge population into cognizance.

Buhari never took Nigeria to OIC. He refused! IBB did. Thank God this is internet age. Please google OIC and log into that site you'll see Nigerian there. Then check the year Nigeria became a member and figure who was in power then. It was IBB. Ebitu Ukiwe an Igbo man who was IBB's deputy once gave an interview in which he stated that that was the reason he resigned from IBB's government in protest. Stop spreading lies against the only man capable of bringing about a corruption-free Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Calls For A Total Sharia In Nigeria (Published 2001) by Maser: 3:55pm On Oct 12, 2014
Grow some brains people and see this thread for what it is, to damage buhari ahead of 2015 and you're all falling for it. Here is a man who bluntly refused to register Nigeria as a member of OIC which IBB eventually did when he took power.Bringing an unverifiable so-called "AFP" news of 2001 today (13 years later) seems like a calculated attempt to destroy the political fortunes of the only man capable of wiping out corruption in Nigeria. Wake up people, the political class have been trying to stop him by fabricating lies against him because they know they would all be in jail if he ever takes office just like they were in 1985. Buhari once said, that if he refused to register Nigeria to OIC as a military head of state when he had absolute power, is it when he becomes a civilian president with far less powers and a National assembly that he can impose a religious agenda?
This publication I suspect is not AFP publication but a calculated attempt by people bent on stopping him ahead of 2015.
