Though I'm not a boxing fan, this event has got people talking about the direction in which the winning pendulum will swing. I've read many sentiments on this ground-breaking fight and I feel like dicing what the event is all about.
This bout remains one of the historic fights of the moment for many reasons. The fight supposed to have held six years ago when both fighters were still in their primes but for greediness of the promoters... Both fighters are currently at the apex of their careers.
Mayweather, a controversial family man an abuser of women, remains undefeated. Pacqiuao has put up a lot of suprises and has proved that he could do the damage. Hence, this fight is a score-settling bout.
Mayweather-Pacquiao will set a good number of records. Projected revenue from tickets alone is set at $72 million. Mayweather, proclaimed as thw richest athlete by Forbes, would pocket $180 million of the $300 million total revenue while Pacqiuao would clear what remains on the table.
In addition to this, boxing is finally back on network television, as NBC and CBS are broadcasting fights from the Premier Boxing Champions promotion. This gives the impression that this fight will be watched by a large number of viewers in the world.
These all said, the winner of this grand fight would be determined by a narrow margin. Though, Americans will always love their own, Pacqiuao remains an underdog and a man to watchout for. Can he turn the table around to win this invincible and undefeated Mayweather?

Many things are involved here but the salient reason in this part of the world is the societal norm. Don't forget a woman was meant to be "deflowered" on wedding night. With this at the back of people's minds, the man would ponder the acceptability of his decision before going ahead.
