A visitor to a village outside the city of Kunming in south China captured a video of the creepy carp.

The video was shared on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform and in the clip the fish can be seen swimming to the edge of the lake and poking its head above the surface of the water.

On the fish’s head are dark dots which look like two eyes, two vertical lines which resemble the sides of a nose and one horizontal one underneath where a mouth would be.

During the clip a woman can be heard saying: “The fish has turned into a fairy.”

People were understandably freaked out by the sight.

One person commented: “This is scary.”

Another replied: “Who dares to eat it?”

A 36-year-old mother got so worked up because her son couldn’t understand how to solve a math problem while doing homework that she suffered a heart attack.



A 36-year-old mother, surnamed Wang, had to be rushed to the hospital on November 1st after suffering a heart-attack while doing homework with her 9-year-old son. She was apparently explaining a math problem to him and got so frustrated that he didn’t get it that her heart gave out.




“I explained it to him many times but he still didn’t get it. I was so angry that I could explode,” Wang told Chinese reporters. “Suddenly, my heart was palpitating and I couldn’t breathe properly.”

Luckily, Wang quickly realized that something was seriously wrong with her and she called her husband, who drove her to a hospital. Doctors there diagnosed the young mother with myocardial infarction, commonly known as heart attack, and said that she was lucky that she got to the hospital so fast.

“She caught it in time. If there had been any delay, she could have suffered from heart failure,” Dr. Yang Xiaoxue said.

Wang, who reportedly helps her son with homework every day, admitted that she would often get exasperated by his difficulty to understand some of the things she explained, but never imagined that her anger would have such severe consequences for her health. She is still recuperating in the hospital.

It should be noted that while the frustration and anger may have triggered the heart attack, it probably had other underlying causes as well, like poor diet and a sedentary lifestyle.

A dog trainer has succeeded in getting his hound to help him with his workouts – by holding down his feet during sit-ups.

Cun Chivas shared the clip of his pet lying down and anchoring his feet as he lifted his upper body.
In the clip, taken in Hung Yen, Vietnam, Mr Chivas sits on the an outside terrace facing his hound.

On instruction, the dog lies down so that Mr Chivas’s feet can be hooked underneath its legs.
With his hands placed on the back of his head, the owner starts to work out.

At the end of the video, Mr Chivas affectionately strokes his dog on the head.

He asks the dog for each front paw as if shaking its hands. As Mr Chivas stands up, the dog bounds up too and follows him out of frame.

The focus of a sit-up is to draw the whole body up using the abdominal muscles.

A variant is the stomach crunch, which involves raising the body halfway up.

While sit-ups or crunches are a way to achieve a defined stomach – or ‘six-pack’ the plank has been found to be one of the best exercises for core fitness.

Doctors treating a South Florida man complaining of abdominal pain were surprised to learn what was behind the irritation.
After arriving at Kendall Regional Medical Center, the unidentified patient underwent a CT scan to help shed light on what was causing his pain.

Doctors quickly saw the problem: An 8-inch screwdriver sitting in his rectum.
During surgery to remove the screwdriver, doctors found the tool had cut into the man’s abdominal cavity and had also perforated his large intestine.
The Annals of Medicine and Surgery report does not address the reason the screwdriver was in the man’s rectum, but the patient has a history of mental illness, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

The report does add that the most common reason for a foreign body to be inserted into the anal region is for sexual pleasure.

An Indiana woman was found dead Wednesday night with an 8-foot python around her neck in a residence that authorities are describing as a “reptile home.”
The woman, identified by Indiana State Police as Laura Hurst, 36, was found at 8:51 p.m. at the home in Oxford, Indiana, Sgt. Kim Riley told NBC News.

Medics attempted life-saving measures on Hurst, of Battle Ground, but were unsuccessful, Indiana State Police said in a statement.

The owner of the high-end restaurant defended the practice by calling it a way for women to enjoy a romantic night out without having to worry about costs, but Peruvian authorities ruled that it was discriminatory against women.

Lecturers at the institution could not carry out their daily routine activities today, Wednesday, October 30, due to the fact that the campus is flooded.

An Australian sheep who made headlines in 2015 for the record-breaking weight of his fleece has died, according to the carers of the Merino named Chris.
“We are heartbroken at the loss of this sweet, wise, friendly soul. Chris is known as the world record holder for having grown the heaviest fleece on record,” the sanctuary said in a Facebook post.
“He was so much more than this, so very much more, and we will remember him for all that he was – someone, not something.”

A man who witnessed his wife being raped faces eight years in prison for chopping off the attacker’s penis.
The 27-year-old husband was on his way home when he saw Dmitry Ivchenko strangling his wife by the throat and raping her in Shevchenkovo, eastern Ukraine.
Ivchenko covered her mouth with his hand to prevent her from screaming and dragged her into bushes, according to police.
But he faces a shorter sentence than the husband who punched Ivchenko on the head before grabbing his Swiss army knife and chopping his penis off, the mail online reports.
The husband’s attorney Dmitry Spaskin said to local media: ‘The husband lost the ability to control his actions. He did not understand what he was doing.’

Terrifying footage shows the ‘senseless’ 70mph car chase through residential streets which killed an innocent mother-of-five.
Lewis Fisher, 21, was seen ‘laughing’ and looked like he was ‘relishing the pursuit’ as Joseph Pownall, 27, tore after him ‘intent on revenge’. It stemmed from an earlier incident when one of Fisher’s friends smashed one of the windows of Pownall’s Volkswagen Amarok while it was parked outside a pub in Wigan on April 20.

Footage shows the pair racing through built-up areas at more than double the 30mph speed limit before veering onto the wrong side of the road where Fisher’s Mercedes smashed head-on into a VW Polo driven by 34-year-old Joanne Bailey-Collinge.
She suffered catastrophic injuries and died hours later. Fisher and Pownall were convicted of causing her death by dangerous driving and jailed for 11 and 12 years respectively at Manchester Crown Court.

The court heard Mrs Bailey-Collinge and her family were on their way to a barbecue at a neighbour’s house.

A mum has given birth to a ‘mini sumo wrestler’ baby girl who weighs a staggering 13lb.

Remi Frances Millar was welcomed into the world by her parents Emma and Daniel Millar at Wollongong Hospital, south of Sydney, on Monday via emergency caesarean, around two weeks early.

Emma, 27, has gestational diabetes and was told by doctors she would be giving birth to a larger than average baby but was stunned at the whopping weight for her newborn.

Remi, who was born healthy, isn’t the first large baby born into the Millar family as the couple’s two-year-old daughter Willow was born weighing a whopping 12.2lb.

Emma said: “She’s like a mini sumo wrestler.

“Our other children just adore Remi, who is really healthy and content and just thriving.”

A village in the Philippines is trying to tackle the scourge of plastic waste by offering rice to residents in exchange for their trash.

Anambra state government is taking action on major roads in the state. The potholes in major roads are currently being patched but in a strange manner. Cement and gravel mixed with water being used to patch the potholes. This could go for ‘indigenous technology’ or something close to it.

One may say that at least the potholes are being patched up, after all some state governors abandoned such problems in their own state.

Cat Almost Dies After Mating with Five Females in Few Hours, Given Glucose Drip to Survive
A male Russian Blue cat who was left to roam freely in a pet hotel in Sichuan, China, ended up needing a glucose drip to recover after mating with at least five female cats in just a few hours.
News of the cat’s exploits was shared on Chinese social media by his owner, a certain Mr. Zhao, after receiving complaints from the pet hotel staff. Apparently, workers there neglected to feed his pet Russian Blue, named Xiaopi, and simply let him out of his cage to roam freely with all the other felines at the hotel, despite being explicitly told that he had not been neutered. Zhao wrote that the staff simply opened the cats cages and went home, leaving them to their own devices for the whole night.

“They had the nerve to be upset with me. They wanted me to explain the situation to all the other owners,” Mr. Zhao wrote. “My f***ing cat is exhausted and on a glucose drip, and this is my fault?”

On a two-acre fieldin England’s Midlands, Gavin and Alice Munro are taking sustainability to the next level: they harvest trees which they train to grow into chairs.
The couple have a furniture farm in Derbyshire where they are nurturing 250 chairs, 100 lamps and 50 tables. It is their answer to what they see as the inefficient and carbon-heavy process of cutting down mature trees to create furniture.
“Instead of force-growing a tree for 50 years and then cutting it down and making it into smaller and smaller bits …the idea is to grow the tree into the shape that you want directly. It’s a kind of zen 3D printing,” said Gavin.

Part of the inspiration for the idea came when Gavin was a young boy. He spotted an overgrown bonsai tree which looked likea chair.

He was also born with a curved spine and as a child spent several years wearing a metal frame to reset his back.

A daredevil scientist could be heard screaming in pain after letting a 6ft-python bite his arm in horrifying footage.

TV presenter Adam Thorn, from Australia, needed stitches in his arm after the reptile drew blood.

In the footage, which was recorded for a new TV series, the huge snake can be seen laid on a wooden table.

As soon as the TV host, who is wearing a protective face mask, gets close to the animal, the python bites him.

A man wearing a blue t-shirt eventually pulls the snake away as blood starts to come out from the scientist’s arm.
The clip, which appeared on Mail Online, is part of History Channel’s new series “Kings of Pain”.

A 6-year-old boy is dead in Arizona after his father allegedly poured hot water down his throat in an effort to exorcise his child — who he reportedly thought was possessed by a “demon.”

The father, 31-year-old Pablo Martinez, was arrested after he told investigators what he did at his home on the Pascua Yaqui Tribe reservation on Thursday.

Martinez told authorities he noticed his son had “a demon inside of him” during the past week, and when he was giving him a bath, he “saw something evil” inside his child, KGUN reported. Thinking he “had to cast the demon out,” Martinez allegedly held the boy under running hot water for five to 10 minutes.

Romelia Martinez, the man’s wife and the boy’s adopted mother, said she heard a gurgling coming from the bathroom, where she found the boy being held under the faucet, and screamed at Martinez to stop. She dialed 911 before Martinez poured cold water over the boy and reportedly attempted CPR on him.

A young Ukrainian man has managed to successfully avoid compulsory military service by staying married to a woman 57 years his senior for almost two years. Despite widespread criticism online, the man has the law on his side.
In late 2017, Alexander Kondratyuk, a young man from the Ukrainian city of Vinnitsa, received his conscription papers. He was to report to the nearest military commissariat for enlistment in his country’s one year military service. All able-bodied Ukrainian men aged between 18 and 26 are required to undergo military service, with one exception. If such a man were responsible for looking after a disabled wife, he would be exempt from service. So Alexander somehow convinced his cousin’s 81-year-old disabled grandmother to become his bride, and the couple have now been married for almost two years. Kondratyuk is 24, so after two more years he will become too old to undergo military service and probably divorce his octogenarian wife.

A drunken couple arrested for riding their bikes around town with no lights had sex in the back of a patrol car after they were taken into custody on Saturday night, officials said.



The Miami Herald reports Aaron Thomas, 31, and Megan Mondanaro, 35, were stopped by a deputy after they were nearly hit by a motorist in Nassau County, Florida.

Both Thomas and Mondanaro stunk of alcohol, according to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office.

A Chinese woman recently had to have her jaw set back in place by a doctor after she dislocated it by laughing too loudly. I guess laughter really wasn’t the best medicine for her, quite the contrary.

The bizarre incident took place on September 1st, on a high-speed train heading to Guangzhou South Railway Station. Doctor Luo Wensheng, who had boarded the train in Kunming, the capital of south-western Yunnan Province, was commuting to Liwan Hospital – part of Guangzhou Medical University – when he heard an urgent appeal for medical assistance being broadcast through the carriage speakers. He rushed to help and found a female passenger who had her mouth open and was drooling profusely, which indicated that she had suffered a stroke, but he blood pressure was normal. It was only after speaking with eye-witnesses that he learned that the woman had become unable to close her mouth due to laughter.
