Robert Mugabe, who ruled Zimbabwe for nearly four decades since independence from Britain, has died at the age of 95.
Mugabe was noted to express his homophobic position whenever he had the opportunity to do so. In one of such instances, he made a post on his Facebook account, apparently after going through a list of celebrity in South Africa that were proudly gay. Here’s the quote;

Doctors in the UK recently reported the shocking case of a teenager whose vision has deteriorated to the point of blindness due to a poor diet based mainly on French fries, potato chips, processed meat and white bread.

The Bristol-based teenager, who preferred to remain anonymous, had reportedly been eating only French fries, Pringles chips and white bread, as well as the occasional sausage or ham slice, ever since he left primary school. His family describes him as a fussy eater who could never tolerate the texture of fruits or vegetables. He first went to see his doctors when he was 14, because he had been feeling tired and unwell, and was diagnosed with severe vitamin deficiency. The doctor put him on supplements and advised him to drastically change his diet, but he failed to do so and also neglected taking the supplements, and three years later he was diagnosed with progressive sight loss due to undernourishment.

Doctors at the Bristol Eye Hospital concluded that the teen’s poor diet caused him to suffer from nutritional optic neuropathy. This condition is treatable when diagnosed early, but in this particular case the fibers in his optic nerve had been so badly damaged that the sight loss has been deemed irreversible. As a consequence of the considerable sight loss, the now 19-year-old has quit college and is struggling to find a job.

Women in Anambra Village Use Machetes and Coconut to Engage in ‘Violent Prophetic’ Pray for Peace in their Community
Watch as the Women in a village in Igbariam, Anambra State, engage in ‘prophetic’ prayer using machete and coconut to bring peace to their community. The women who are members of the Umuada in their community said there was so much unrest in their place they engaged in symbolic violent prayer by using machetes to smash coconut which symbolizes the destruction of unrest in the land.
In the video one of the women could be heard quarreling with the man recording the prayer asking him to stop but he insisted.

Plus-size fashion models help improve women’s psychological health, according to new research.

Researchers from Florida State University say women are more likely to pay attention to and remember average and plus-size models in the media compared to thin models, and also experience enhanced psychological health after viewing plus-size models, according to the study published in the journal Communication Monographs.

Researchers surveyed a group of nearly 50 young women who had indicated they wanted to be thinner, showing them a variety of images of thin, average and plus-size fashion models. After viewing each image, participants were asked questions about their body satisfaction and how much they had compared themselves to the models.

When average and plus-size models were shown, research participants made fewer comparisons, paid more attention and remembered more about those models. They also reported higher levels of body satisfaction.

A Singapore-based businessman has attracted some unwanted media attention after it was reported that he sued his mistress in order to recover $2 million he allegedly loaned her. The problem is she says the money was a gift, so she doesn’t want to give it back.

Toh Eng Tiah, the 55-year-old owner of several recycling businesses, met 33-year-old property agent Angelina Jiang in November of 2016, and the two became romantically involved, even though Mr. Toh was married at the time. Between December 2016 and March 2017, the Singaporean businessman allegedly paid Ms. Jiang around $1 million, of which at least $819,000 was used to pay her credit card bills and living expenses. Interestingly enough, in March of 2017, the two signed a loan agreement for $2 million, including the money already paid, as well as another $872,000. The young property agent claims that the loan was only a ruse to trick Mr. Toh’s wife into thinking he was only loaning her money, but in fact it was a gift. However, the businessman says the loan was real and he wants his money back.

Doctors in Hunan, China have extracted no less than 8 embroidery needles stuck in a man’s right buttock, ending a decade-long pain he has been feeling in the butt.

For the past 10 years, Chen, a 55-year old retired man from China’s Changsha Province, had frequently experienced a stinging, tingling sensation in the right part of his behind, but he never went to have it checked out by a doctor. He reportedly felt the stinging sensation most often when he ran, but because of his busy work schedule, he never went to the hospital. He finally made it to a doctor earlier this month and told him about the mysterious pain in the behind, but the explanation shocked both him and the physician.

An X-Ray of Chen’s backside showed no less than eight sharp needles embedded deep in his right buttock. Asked how they could have gotten there, the 55-year-old remembered that he had once fallen into a pile of garbage at work and that he had indeed landed on metal needles as well. However, he plucked them out of his backside himself, and thought he had removed all of them. Apparently, that wasn’t the case.

A young lady is currently buzzing the internet for her ‘strange’ ability to produce fantastic painting using her breasts and brushes.

Nadia Matievskaia, a self-taught artist from Belarus, has been making news headlines for her unusual “brush”. The young artist uses her breasts to paint, but you couldn’t tell by the details displayed in her artworks.

Nadia never trained to become a painter, in fact she dreamed of having a career in the music industry, but a year and a half ago she started taking acting lessons and discovered a hidden talent. The young artist says that the courses taught her not to be so constrained and explore her innermost feelings, but they also helped her experiment with her body and discover an unexpected way to make money. An assignment that one of her teachers gave her required her to create a painting using her breasts and try to sell it. She did exactly that, and she’s been doing it ever since.

Viral Video! Ghanaian Police officers force slay queen to jump into gutter to pick empty ‘pure water’ sachet she threw away

A video which has gained traction on social media shows two Ghanaian police officers directing a ‘lady’ to collect a sachet rubber she threw into a gutter with her hand.
Social media users are outraged that what seems to have been normalised in the Ghanaian society, most people have thrown sanity to the wind and continue to live below human dignity and perhaps deserve to be compelled to do the right thing.

These police officers did just that after a video of them commanding a lady to pick up the sachet rubber she dumped into a clean gutter.

While it is not so clear, it appears the lady first hesitated, which had the police officers become a bit more stringent and practically forced her into the gutter when they commanded her to jump into it.

The UAE woman was said to have sought to divorce her husband at the Shariah court in Fujairah, because she felt chocked by his love and affection. To make matters “worse”, the husband allegedly never argued with her during their one-year marriage and even helped her with house chores like cleaning, which she described as “hell”.

“He never yelled at me or turned me down,” the poor woman reportedly told the court. “I was choked by extreme love and affection. He even helped me clean the house.”

“I long for one day of dispute, but this seems impossible with my romantic husband who always forgave me and showered me with gifts,” she added. “I need a real discussion, even an argument, not this hassle-free life of obedience.”

The unlikely love story between a 27-year-old woman and an 83-year-old famous shaman in Indonesia’s Central Java province has been making headlines in the Asian country for the past week. Despite the controversy regarding the age difference between them, the young woman claims she fell in love with her new husband the moment she saw him.

27-year-old Nuraeni first met 83-year-old Sudirgo in July, when the girl accompanied her parents to the famous shaman’s house in Desa Jatilaba, to seek his advice. It was then and there that the young woman says she fell in love with Nuraeni, and even though she left with her family, she kept finding excuses to visit the grandfather of eight. She even asked him to visit her at her family’s home, and even though the signs were pretty clear, the 83-year-old says he didn’t even consider a romantic relationship because of his advanced age. However, he could only resist love so long, and after confessing his feeling to Nuraeni and asking her to marry him, she accepted.

Before the unlikely couple could get married, they needed to get the blessing of their families. While Nuraeni’s family agreed to the union faster than the girl had expected, Sudirgo’s children, the oldest of which is old enough to be Nuraeni’s father (51-years-old) took a bit more convincing. The thing they wanted to know most was why the 27-year-old didn’t find a husband closer to her own age.

Six Senior Citizens, Including 85-Year-Old Woman, Arrested For Having S3x In Public Park

Grace Richardson Park in Fairfield, Connecticut, will forever be remembered as the place where police raided an alleged outdoor sex party – for senior citizens.
Six senior citizens were arrested after they were allegedly caught having sex in a Connecticut woodland, popular park called Grace Richardson Park.

Police reported that they had received several complaints about the area beforehand. They then reportedly staked out park and observed multiple acts of public indecency before moving in, NBC News reported.

The disgraced group included five men and one 85-year-old woman, the youngest being 62. The group now face public indecency charges. They were released on promises to appear in court.
Though the report did not mention homosexual acts, the fact that only one woman was involved and she was with her husband could mean anyone can add up the kind of sex the other men were caught having.

When the cast of a Canadian production of “Billy Elliot: The Musical” took their final bow after a recent show, the audience didn’t make a single sound — not even a woof.

A polite crowd of about a dozen future service dogs attended an August performance at Ontario’s Stratford Festival as part of their training. While a silent curtain call might disappoint actors, the dogs’ spellbound stillness is a great sign for their future handlers.

The event was part of a two-year training program by K-9 Country Inn Working Service Dogs, head trainer Laura MacKenzie told CNN. The future service dogs have toured zoos, subways and crowded fairs to acclimate them to the unfamiliar lights and sounds, rapid movements and bustling crowds they might encounter with their handler, she said.

If the sight of a lizard on your wall makes you shudder, imagine looking up to see a python there. Now imagine if the snake were to fall on your bed. An Australian family came very close to living this nightmare recently, according to a Facebook post by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers.

According to the post by the snake rescue service based in Queensland, the carpet python had been relaxing on a light fitting inside a house at Glasshouse Mountains that probably couldn’t take its weight. The snake therefore fell from the light fixture and onto the bed. Luckily, nobody was sleeping in the bed when it happened.

WeAreFeel, a UK-based supplement subscription company has become very popular online for a bizarre limited-edition multivitamin pill designed to “make your toilet sparkle” when you do a number two.

An Indian boy allegedly expected to receive a Jaguar sports car as a birthday present from his parents only to receive a brand new BMW instead, was so angry with his present that he decided to throw in a river.

The name and age of the angry teen who couldn’t come to terms with receiving the wrong brand of luxury car are not known, but several Indian sources have reported that he hails from the Yamuna Nagar in Haryana and is the son of a local landlord. Luxury cars like Jaguar, Audi, BMW or Mercedes-Benz have become a common sight in Haryana, with many land owners buying them with money received from the government in exchange for land to be used for various infrastructure projects. Such cars are often abandoned shortly after being acquired, due to high maintenance costs, but in this case, the owner simply didn’t like the brand.

It is called “Insect Experience”. This is eatery in South Africa that offers you only insect-based delicacies, including ice creams. The eatery is presently in the news for aiming to make bugs palatable.

Food scientist Leah Bessa and her partners believe that bugs have a lot of potentials as food source.
Their South Africa-based company, Gourmet Grubb, produces ice cream made from an insect-based dairy alternative they’ve named EntoMilk. It’s made from Hermetia illucens, the black soldier fly.

And since June, they’ve been operating a pop-up food concept in Cape Town called The Insect Experience, where dishes featuring insects are plated with the same care and precision as any gourmet delicacy.

This is what you could describe as one of the wackiest sports in the world. It is the Dutch sport of Paalzitten or Pole Sitting, which sees competitors literally sitting on wooden poles for dozens of hours, until they surrender to either numbness or boredom.

The origin of Paalzitten is not very clear, but some sources claim that it originated in the Dutch province of Friesland, where locals tried to stave boredom by inventing sports that involved objects used in daily life, like wooden poles. It’s not clear exactly why someone thought sitting on a wooden pole just waiting for the other guys to descend first was an antidote to boredom, but somehow the sport of Paalzitten caught on and despite almost going extinct at one point, it’s still occasionally practiced in the Netherlands.

A no-nonsense group of residents of a municipality in southern Mexico has taken an extreme measure to express their displeasure with their mayor for alleged non-performance in office.

When the residents got fed up with their mayor after he failed to keep a campaign promise, they decided to make him pay in a special way for that failure.

They made him wear a dress and paraded him around town for days.

Earlier this week, a visibly stressed Mayor Javier Jimenez, from Huixtán province, walked around in a long dark skirt and frilly white blouse with ruffles and flowery embroidery, in front of furious residents of San Andrés Puerto Rico, while Luis Ton, another official also deemed deficient, was clad in a bright pink dress with white polka dots.

Chinese Boy Inserts Sewing Needle in his Urethra So He Can Stay Awake to do Homework
How far can you go to keep yourself awake just to do some work? Certainly not adopting the option of inserting a 10cm metal needle through your urethra, but it seems that’s the best a 12-year-old boy in China could come up with.

The unnamed by from Shanxi, China’s Xi’an province, was apparently so desperate to stay awake while doing his homework that he did something most of us couldn’t even imagine – he took one of his grandmother’s long acupuncture needles and shoved it down his urethra, the sensitive tube through which urine is pushed out of the body. It’s not clear exactly how that helped him stay awake, but that’s what he told his mother pushed him to do it. He later learned that shoving it too hard made it impossible to retrieve, which in turn made him unable to walk normally without enduring stringing pain.
