We all know that computer programs exist because we acknowledge the job of the Programmer who writes logical sequence of instructions acting on data. I think I understand you better now.
Now for a program, we may not know the existence of the program without the programmer or the code writer. But the burden of the existence of a program is on the coder, he is the one to bring up machines and softwares that can run the program and actually prove to the other people beyond reasonable doubt about the existence of the program.

The creationist(you) was the first to postulate the idea of a creator. Insinuating that there must have been a creator for a perfectly designed universe. Blaming the athiest for the idea of infinite regression of cause and effect is just being biased. Cos u were the one to first go with the logic of a creator in the first place. An assist atheist just asks for evidence. To answer your question. I don't think the concept is logical or scientifical, till there's enough evidence to convince me.

BTW, I don't think anyone has ever described God as a THING/SOMETHING. He is an intelligence quite alright, a conscious being not made up of matter. His phase of existence is different from the physical one we know of, hence he can't be described as "complex" with respect to the physical world for there is no basis for comparison.

Of course, it isn't difficult to see that a complex intelligence can manufacture imitations of complex artifacts.

If he's not a being but an intelligence, then I guess he's abstract, he exists only in our heads and imagination. Cos that's where he's active and always interacts with men.

I doubt. Life usually goes from simple to complex. So I propose life started from a simple unicellular cell, a micro atom or something like that. Not from complex to simple.

Religion has really done us bad in this country. Religion thrives mostly due to ignorance, poverty and idleness.
Upon say na we poor pass, our economy is not moving well, how come our leaders are more concerned with opening churches. Why are we not working on how to resume jobs, open schools, ease the hunger and make the economy robust.
I think the reason is quite obvious, religion is a tool for subjugation, if the people are freed from it, they will ask more questions and demand more from these leaders. But for our leaders not to feel the heat, they have to open the churches and mosques, so that we keep asking the Imaginary God, all the questions we are supposed to demand from our leaders and govt

Waste of resources. If the money was used to empower the members it would have been better.

The fact is that different places favour different people. it worked for you, for some of them coming back, it may be that going there was their worst decision ever made, for some they went over there for vacation, holiday, excursion or flexing, and maybe enjoyed themselves even more than you have ever done over there. so u see, there are levels, you are there for survival and making ends meet, some are just there to pass time and spend money.
