and what we can do as Nigerians is to look for ways to raise funds for them and reward them. To change the country, we need to support people that do the right thing so others can follow in their footsteps. DesChyko:/video/1 |
A lot of people tend to be surprised by this. I am not. MY TAKE To win wars, you need certain things - 1. Proximity - The defeat of USSR, UK and so on is simply because they expanded beyond reason, and could not negate attacks due to proximity to home base. This is the main reason why countries won independence. Not because Africans with their crude tools could defeat the superior power of the British/French. The occupiers could not keep up. The reason why Israel is able to sustain continued attacks on the Palestinian is due to proximity. This is also the reason why UKRAINE would fail because the supporting countries are not close, and Russia can also reload and attack at will. 2. Numbers - While small armies have been successful in defeating larger ones, there is still a certain number of ratio needed to defeat oppositions. US-Afghanistan, US-Iraq are case studies. When US had the surge, the US was able to move into Taliban territories and gain more grounds, but they could not sustain the numbers. Russia has brought in North Korean and other foreign mercenaries. While Ukraine is also getting human support from the West and Europe, they are and will be unwilling to send in large forces. US has been suffering from recruitment in recent years, and with eyes fixated on China, they cannot afford to deploy a lot of assets to the Red Sea. Yemen has home advantage and I doubt Saudi Arabia would want to get involved giving their past issues with Yemen. 3. Technology - Every technology has limitations. You cannot use a $2 million missile to bring down a $5000 drone. Even if you do that, over time, it wont make sense. What US just discovered is the limitation of expensive technology. Even Israel with Iron Dome could not stop the sheer number of cruise missiles from Iran. Armor tanks were blown up with cheaper IEDs in Afghanistan...US had to spent more to fortify. Then they targeted the Fuel Tanks and so on...technology has limitations. 4. Money - Countries will continue to assess and reassess war spending, and what they are willing to commit to it and what they hope to gain may affect the outcome of these wars. While US-Israel have increased war spending, other countries are spending less to build more arsenals because they engage in less confrontations. Over time, the people may not subscribe to continued war spending. This is one of the reasons US had to pull out of Afghanistan. It was just too costly. Most people are already talking about the cost of maintaining US bases around the world. Soon, US will be forced to limit spending and focus on human capital development before the people revolt. One of the reasons Harris lost, more war spending is not popular anymore. Trump is trying to normalize relationship between Israel and Middle Eastern countries because at the end, Israel would only survive if there is peace with its neighbors. US cannot keep up the defense of Israel as its people suffer from crushing expenses, national debt and inflation. FreeStuffsNG: |
Why must we have a significant event to flag off and then to commission? Isn't all that additional waste of money that can be used to perform other things? I am just curious. |
Best way to raise IGR...move the Gov House to an undeveloped area. Those lands next to it are probably now 100 times the cost. The main city will still attract high net and this new area as well. I cannot wait to see how Soludo will transform Anambra. He should reach out to Ooni of Ife...Ojaja. He is building masterpieces everywhere from Ondo, Osun to Lagos. Bestmanfornow: |
Release them back into India or to Nigeria...please let them stay there for their crimes. LegendHero: |
and with all that comes obligations ...she must attend events, parties, go on trips and so on...all that glitters is not gold. I wish her all the best, but it is for one year and another one will take her place...but the best modeling agencies in the world do not switch models every year. She will make her mark, but it won't be easy. I wish her all the very best, and I will be rooting for her. legitnow1: |
You mean Nollywood story. There are limits to modeling here. She wont be the first looking good female with slim stature. How well she performs will be based on her handlers. Like Nigeria, most models abroad also cater to high end clients...and ....well you can picture the rest lol. How often do they get modeling gigs that pay for their lifestyles? legitnow1: |
In few years, she will join ARISE News as a Journalist like Ojy Okpe Lol legitnow1: |
When I started visiting to see my parents, he started opening up to me that he wanted me to take over his legacies. Parents have a lot to say and they need that assurance that only physical presence can open up Flakky26: |
Some shops now have speakers...so when alert goes in, it makes a sound...and they also check their phones. Smart idea...no more showing alert to say you have paid ...you wait or they call bank to confirm...especially the older traders If na hundreds of thousands uwa002: |
I wont be surprised if some of these students still scammed their parents and collected tuition money. I wonder how the govt will ensure the colleges are not collecting for withdrawn students, admitted but not enrolled and so on. Lots may be going on underground. I am probably the only person that was denied, and yet relieved. Lots of horror stories from everyone that I was already scared before the interview. When she said denied, I said thank you and was even relieved to be done with the whole mess. My Mom said...why don't you get a new passport and try the next day, I said no way. Lets go to Ibadan. I need to be out of here. By the way, I paid for my own visa doing house to house tutoring after delay getting into University from not meeting cut off, and a long UI strike at that time. I always tell everyone Chelsea Clinton is my girlfriend and I will go to the US. She is processing my visa. Their jaws dropped when my dream fantasy became real. I dusted myself, prepared to start UI after a 9-month strike...went back to my Agbada 3 months later with the "I don't give a fu*k attitude whether you give me or not." Then I got it Lol..1st one, I went to Lagos, suit and tie very uncomfortable dressing with my Mom and 2nd time, I traveled alone...If you see how I held the passport-visa alone on my way back to Ibadan lol. I kept looking at it..like, wow, I got this visa. Then I remembered I had no way to pay for ticket. One day I will write a whole book...God help me. I am the stone the builder rejected. I am now the cornerstone. Everyone was shocked...even my relatives in the US. How did you do it? I did not do it...God did it. I arrived US before discovering I even got 50% tuition scholarship lol. lagostrendboy: |
I see so many people here are happy looking forward to people being deported so they can laugh in silence. We just love to watch other people's miseries. Tells me the heart of us as a people...Trump will be hard on immigration, but he will also face a lot of lawsuits. The soul of the Dem party will be tested. A long road awaits nlfpmod: |
Is it easy to get residency in these countries? I doubt it...Europe is becoming more right-leaning now. Best to try Canada if she is the agile type and can work. But do note, she may change it for you, have a boyfriend, and forget about everyone joining her over there. Don't cry me a river if that happens. Use your brain...you know your wife better than we do. ihavesense: |
Christmas na money making here. Toy companies love Christmas. Christmas tree farmers love it too. They sell the most that season. If you think it is about Jesus Birth then you do not understand capitalist economy lol ebubeson: |

Guess the goal is not to save money, because it would make no sense giving the amount to time, materials and cost of gas to make the corn flakes. That one right there wont even fill me up to talk of the whole family lol LocalFARMERS: |
I don't blame him...he knows those ones are less likely to commit fraud...the past 2 weeks alone...one Nigeria after another jailed for massive fraud/romance scam...like why can't we work in the USA and gradually build wealth. One idiot was extradited from UK...He went to Tai Solarin School of Education...will be spending 26yrs in jail. What a life Tellmeastory: |
States grid makes sense. Northerners planning to supply for all 19 states makes no sense...how would they coordinate transformer replacements, repairs, payments and all...it will just be another big Disco/Genco. Yes, it's expensive to do it state by state but you at least would have control of your state and can continue to diversify the production of electricity instead of waiting to have a meeting of 19 Govs from different political parties and different interests dre11: |
I understand its hard for people to believe that humans can gift people things without expecting anything in return. All it takes is one person finding out he doesn't have a car and maybe struggles to get to the gym. All it takes is someone saying i can put up N200k if others can gather N50k. You will be surprised how much your dedication and honesty can open doors for you. In life within a 10yr span, something dramatic would happen...and it would probably be a high or low .... what you do and how you manage it will determine the next 10yrs. Think of it as the Joseph Dream approach to life. This is his breakthrough. Some will get a higher breakthrough and some will fall off. Nigeria-UK guy jailed 26 years for scam...he had his 10 years of breakthrough (negative) and met his downfall as well. Looking up his FaceBook, he actually japa and could have kept grinding in UK but wanted to move fast....too fast. Trust faith, have hope, and stay diligent...someone is watching. It may be delayed, but it won't be denied. Gistmedia10: |

Accordingly, the 2024 appropriation is N28. 78 trillion increasing by N1. 28 trillion from the initial proposed value of N27 trillion Going by this and even assuming we got N6.28 trillion every quarter, we would still be short of the 2024 appropriation. My guess is that we did not even make N6.28 trillion in Q1, so we are definitely behind. The only silver lining is that we are earning close to the appropriation, so we may not need to borrow from CBN like we have done in the past via Ways and Means. I stand corrected. Kukutente23: |
Enough funds to japa... won't be surprised if he travels abroad. God dey. Be careful who you defend with your chest Lol Wisdomkosi: |
Email me and let us talk about your finances and choices. It is not about making money that provides someone with sense. You can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars and still be poor or broke with a small turn of event. If you want financial advice, and you are willing to learn, you will go far with your N200k. Quick wins - Move back to your family if you cannot afford to rent OR rent a room ..cut your rent to less than 20% of your income. You cannot pick and choose if you are not making enough. You suffer small so you can invest to build wealth. In 2-3 yrs, you will start 2-3 businesses that generate incomes for you, and then live your best life. The question is --- are you willing to learn and make sacrifices? even show proof of income and openly discuss your budget?

|

The most lucky man in the world. He gets to pick the Attorney General who will withdraw the cases. For those that cannot be withdrawn, say at the state level, he can use US taxpayer money to mount a legal defense. He has the majority in the Supreme Court and may pick 1-2 judges in the future to solidify his grip. Talk about Presidential overreach...and you still think Nigeria is extreme? We learned from the best. jospepper: |
Lol... I am just saying...dont make amazon job look so great. Next time, proceed with caution cos some of us will checkmate you. Anyways...if a family is making N80k each, N160k and they have 1 or 2 children, they can survive in Nigeria. That's N1.92m. Rent should be no more than N500k, 25% of the budget so a room and parlor will suffice or 1 bedroom apartment. Schools should be public with N30k for private lessons for both kids all year...say another N400k. Food can be about N40k - N50k a month which means one must plant to supplement and then some savings. Ideally they shouldn't have kids if they are just starting off with minimum wages. You can marry, work hard for 4-5yrs then raise both incomes before 1 child and then 2 children on or before 35...so marriage at 30. This is how the West does it and manage. Some couples live in one room. Naija we just overdo our life, and love Aso Ebi. daveP: |
but you aint as productive as an average Amazon employee, and some of them have to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. If he or she told you she has just that one job and living great, something is amiss. You do that Amazon job full time for 10yrs, you will need lots of medical support if you ain't taking care of yourself...look it up online and check reviews lol daveP: |
You left out the taxes, rent and all the other obligations in the US. Come and work at Amazon for 1 month...lol daveP: |
and you think it is govt money? I pray one day that my children can buy houses way more than that for their boy/girlfriends...but put it in their own names sha lol Ringstonermask: |
For the Love of Country...voted. Now, it's up to INEC...Oops, it's up to the Electoral officers, judiciary and Electoral College now. By the way, the US Election 2024 ongoing is marred with over 200 lawsuits right now, so if you think the judiciary don't play a role here, you are Joking God1000:
