Do you understand what fraud means? It is not fraud if it is not deceptive - the cost of sending SMSs is a known thing so it is simply a cost of doing business. Now if you send an SMS from your phone to another person, is it not the same 4 naira you will pay? So in your mind, the bank doesn't incur a cost when they send those SMSs? When did the banks turn into telecommunications companies?

And how much is the 4 naira you are even ranting over. Haba - even if you make 100 transactions, that is a mere N1,200 a month. Is it bad for the bank to cover it's own costs of doing business??

You seem not to get my point. Access bank sums their charges and sends you a single SMS for a transaction. How will you explain a situation where a bank will charge you for two ATM cards on a single account, same Zenith bank in case you want to know. Cards that have been deactivated for a long time. Is it that their system is not showing that those cards are not active? Thought you were smart enough to understand my point rather you said I am ranting over pennies.

I do not blame your thought pattern Sir. There is nothing like accountability in this country.

Okay let me share my experience using Zenith bank for many years now.

When you do a single transaction using Zenith bank, they will send you three different SMS on a single transaction. Each SMS cost N4 to be deducted from your account at the end of the month. Imagine someone doing multiple transaction on a daily basis and you think that is not a planned fraud.

Look critically at the credited amount and the censored balance. I think based on the figure involved, the balance supposed to have stretched a bit closer the the credited figure.
