I guess I need to chip in my quota here, parkparky: Geofavor:The "-1" is not just a random number, we are expected to try out all the factors of the constant polynomial which is "-6" in this case. Apparently, the numbers we can use here (factors of -6) include ±1, ±2, ±3 and ±6. And according to factors theorem, if after trying x = -2 and it gives you zero i.e. f(-2) =0, it means x +2 is a factor of the polynomial. Then we can get the other factors by using the long division and subsequently factoring whatever quotient we get. Mind you, this is the traditional (omoluabi) method. Jambites ain't advised to try this in the hall. Just cross check your options(expand the brackets) one after the other to see the one that works. It saves you done time and stress. **winks** |
Bhuumhite:where's my own cake o, I no go gree o |

Ennie123:The magnification of any object placed in front of a plane mirror is 1 irrespective of the height of the object or its distance from the mirror since the images formed by a plane mirror are always the same size as their respective objects |
Oxytocin:Please check again, it's 4 @Geofavor, the pH of a solution is defined as the negative logarithm of the hydrogen ion concentration present in that solution to base 10. I.e pH = -log10[H+]. For the question, first and foremost, you need to know how HCL ionizes in water to know the concentration of hydrogen ion present in one mole of the solution HCL = H+ + CL- Therefore, it means that 1 mole if HCL contains 1 mole of H+, so 0.0001mole of the acid will also contain 0.0001mole of H+. The rest is what oxytocin have solved above. Mind you if it were to be H2SO4, it ionizes to give 2 moles of H+ since it is dibasic unlike HCL which is monobasic. Also note that the H+ in the formula above can be changed to H3O+ while pOH = -log10[OH-]. And pH + pOH = 14 |
sundyhlo:are you sure you checked the correct portal? Portal.ui.edu.ng |
ayodijex:Ok boss, I just did a "copy n paste" |
Starting Course Registration And Departmental Registration.. Meet with your course adviser first to know which courses yo choose.. Go to your portals and pick those courses as described by your course adviser.. Your course adviser is a lecturer in your department.. Go to your department and ask for 100 level course adviser.. He/she would be your course adviser till you graduate.. Anything course related should be posed to her Or him as the case may be.. Print out the course form and take it to the departments hosting each course you are taking outside your department.. The courses hosted by your department would be signed in your department.. After that.. The fully signed course form would be taken back to the course adviser for final signature.. Then you can start departmental registration.. Your course adviser would definitely ask for other documents aside your course form so take along your documents to prevent disappointment.. |

Geofavor:Find the length of the side using the given coordinates, then square it. NB, dist b2 2 points (x1, y1) and (x2 and y2) = sqrt((x2-x1)² + (y2-y1)²) |
Well done guys, I believe all the questionshas been answered |
Good afternoon guys, for those of you who paid in bank whose portal hasn't been updated, take your payment receipt (the one with the qr code) to the MIS building and submit it with your matric number written on it in online services room. Your portal will be updated within 3 days. |
Note that for ax² + bx + c = 0 If a is negative, we'll be asked to calculate the maximum point/value But if a is positive, that's minimum tinz straight |
