On No 1. What kind of equation is this? Who can help me out or maybe a guidelines
No 2. How do i approach this type of maths? Is it the normal BODMAS method approach?
The first question is not an equation but an expression and that's why you we're asked to simplify and not "solve". So all you need do is to expand brackets and collect like terms. It becomes an equation only when the equation sign "=" is introduced and to solve that, just use any of the methods used for solving a quadratic equation as someone has stated earlier
estijaz: My fellow Africans, if you think English language is easy, then you are mistaken. Ask this Nigerian student who just made a mockery of himself while wooing the lady of his dreams. How can someone in his right state of mind confuse the terms <clothes up> and <closeup> How can someone do that my people. I am not one for long talk, just see for yourself here!!!!!
You don't need to fret as that's not the regular quota for statistics. It was just unfortunate that many of the applicants last year couldn't reach the cut off mark and not many people did change of course to statistics...
franzis: My xiaomi redmi note 2 doesnt power on anymore.... if I connect It with the charger ,it just shows the Red light on top of the screen and goes off
That should either be the battery(most likely) or the charger. By the way, since when have you been using the phone?
hiroz: lol..nice one op,remember when I was in lag last month was home for like 3 weeks straight without going out,my aunty and uncle go dey beg me go out nah,go to the mall go to the cinema... in my mind I'm like to do what dem dey share money there, and to top it all here I am at home with constant light, dstv sub, enough food, free wifi...nothing beats being home alone...
The fact that the FG have scrapped Post UTME doesn't mean y'all should relax or relent in your preparations for the exam. It is better for you to be prepared and eventually find out that there's no exam(no knowledge is wasted) albeit I'm sure there'll be a screening exercise of whose nature I don't know, than to relent now and later find out at the eleventh hour that there's gonna be an exam which you didn't prepare for. Be wise and be smart. Good luck to y'all
I have both ND and HND in Computer Science (Upper Credit), Yabatech, with following O'level result: Maths A1, Eng C6, Phy A1, Chem C6, Bio C5 and Econs C5. Is there any chance for DE Admission into 200L Bsc. Mathematics as i plan to apply using HND Computer Science? Also, is it possible to do Professional Masters in Financial Mathematics (MFM) and a Bsc. programme at the same time in U.I? Please, your swift and prompt response will be very much appreciated.
Regards!
The only thing I know for certain is that you can't run the two programs concurrently at UI. Then about the DE stuff, I THINK there's a chance of admission since the school herself diverts DE applicants for computer science to Mathematics if the allocation for the former is filled up already. And trust me, from the current state of the department, the school will admit many students this year into the department through DE
thankyouJesus: Bro, I am currently a student of the department and with God's grace we will be in the same level when you resume. Concerning your O'Level, all you need is Eng, Math, Phy and any two subjects (atleast one science subject) with a minimum pass of C6. Hoping to see you next session. Cc: Mathefaro
Yaaga, he's welcome to the family. You've said it all boss mi, so all I can do is to wish him success
I greet you all in here o. Hope you're preparing well for your post utme. Please note that it's not all about brilliance or being intelligence, it's more about being smart and time conscious. Know your strengths and weakness and work on them. I wish y'all success
