rOsy247: Pls, does anyone know the duration of maternity leave for teachers?....IT'S RELATIVELY DEPENDENT ON THE PRINCIPAL/ HEADMASTER AND YOUR WILLINGNESS TO SHARE YOUR SALARY....UNDER PROPER ARRANGEMENT, YOU CAN HAVE A MATERNITY LEAVE FOR AS LONG AS THAT PARTICULAR PRINCIPAL/HEADMASTER REMAINS IN THAT SCHOOL.... |
Tekzyflex: So no arrears? Woops! That's means its all over....SAID IT ONCE AND WOULD SAY IT A MILLION TIMES,ARREARS WONT BE PAID....CALL ME A PROPHET OF DOOM,SUIT YOUR FANCY. |

LET US PRAY Our father, who at in heaven, hallow be thy name, thy kingdom come, PAUSE Would these pastors be happy if the kingdom of God comes? if you were a pastor owing exotic cars, private planes and your gullible members sees you as God here on earth, would you want the kingdom of God to come? would you be happy if Christ is to return as he has promised?if your honest answer is no,then, are you indeed a servant of God?....Are these men servants of Christ, who though he is the creator, humbled himself and became a created,so he can redeem falling man. While he lived,he rode on lowly donkey, though he can afford a chariot. He lived with his disciples, though he can afford a palace filled with servants. ARE THESE SO CALLED PASTORS REALLY THE MOUTHPIECE OF THE HUMBLE,LOVING AND SOON TO RETURN SAVIOUR?.....am just asking. |
kingsjerone@yah:....Would rather prefer to have the first bite from the pot than wait for the presumed sweetest bottom pot.....and mind you,in most instance, the bottom pot contain stones(if you are eating mama-put beans),too much salt(for restaurant soup),and totally short on cash(if you're one of the 13,000 teachers) |
.......or better still,continue borrowing. |
Ameachi is busy converting each local government from PDP to APC....the problem of the newly employed teacher's salary is not of concern to him,as long as it does not interfere with his political schedules. My advice for those who are broke?,get another job until salary is paid.....If you think am been sarcastic, continue teaching and get paid by April next year. |
Am of the opinion that, salary would be paid.If and when,I can not categorically say, because ,I don't want to say one thing and my oga at the top say another. So,am appealing to all those concerned, not to worry about salary, until the president has officially decamped to APC and Ameachi becomes the first Blackman to discover chloroquine.Am advicing all the newly employed teachers to borrow as much as they can from their older colleagues, with a promise of sharing their pension and gratuity with them. |

Got one too. That means, all non blackberry users, especially techno addicts, would be offline till the end of next year. |

joyblinks: U wish....I wish |
ibiso1986: I need advise right now.. My elder brother was among one of the new recruited teachers. But he's working elsewhere(a private marine company that pays 65k monthly).. Is it advisable for him to abandon that job and teach or can I replace him(unto impersonation).. I just finished youth service and I'm not doing anything for now.......you already know what to do...do it. |
Godsfree: Thank God for saving my life. When will community clash end in rivers state. Went back to school (css kporghor, tai lga) after enjoying the mid term. We were hearing sproadic shooting from nearby community, villagers running up and down, community boys and able bodied men stationed at different position with their knives, axes etc ready for battle, school closed instantly, student and teachers took cover, everyone on his/her own. I manage to sneek into my rented house, packed my belonging and leave the villages. One funny thing was that my students saw me going with my bags and asked me if i was running. I replied " i am not running, i am going. I will be back".... .now you have a valid reason not to resume till next year. |
......if you can't find your name on the old/new list, forget it,the job is not for you. |
rakiri: How soon pleasehow do you expect him to know? He is only encouraging you, make you no feel like say your own bad pass. |
Fiafiad: Please friends, let us not complicate issues here. They have said it time without number that 13,151. Teachers were recruited in this recruitment exercise, how come it has increased to 17,000. Teachers now?......read beacon newspaper(19/10/2013).Only an inexperienced person would believe those educationists turn politicians.Forget about salary till hopefully sometime next year. |
Rexmarysweet: UBE Board is in Dilemma. The problem seems to be the fact that a good number of Teachers aint favourably disposed to their place of posting and as such have resorted to manouvering and Lobbying to be reposted to their place of choice and be included in the Omited names yet to be uploaded in the Internet......Please also note that another issue concerning the recruitment is that rather than 13000 showing up for the training,a total of 17000 showed up,all with valid appointment letter, according to beacon newspaper. Not until this issue is sorted out both by UBE and PPSB,don't bother about salary. |
.....talking about the salary issue, Lagos state recently employed about 900 teachers with a pay check of approximately #58,000 for grade 8,step 1.From what I heard, rivers state offers teacher the highest pay check.Won't be surprise if a teacher on grade 7 in rivers state ,earn higher than his/her couleage on step 8,in Lagos state. |
nky4success: pls any information about Ube posting?.... nothing yet. |
mathmatica: the list is out but yet subject to verification.... I wonder what there is to verify.Cut and join country.......the omitted names for posting(PPSB) |
