dr stone: Yes OOO!!, Call it whatever you like, BOKO Islam or not. If all goes according to plan, the next stage of this fight is to purge the earth of corrupt muslems like you who do not practise this pure brand of islam as stipulated in the koranic book!!

For the sake of Emphasis, the difference between you and them are 1. because you are educated probably by attending a mission school. 2. I also suspect that you are a yoruba. this cultural heritage makes you regard the yoruba culture of peaceable(Live and Let Live) living first before any other extremist tendencies.
However, it is sadly not so for the muslems in the Hausa fulani kingdoms. they resisted the Missionaries and the Missionary educators! they agreeed to be submisive to the British on the condition they should be allowed to practice their religion and for some adminstrative convenience the missionaries were halted by LORDLUGARD. even after this, they did not send their children to the schools for fear that they may convert after being "Brain washed" by Western education. they prefer to study sharia law and jurisprudence or at best Political science so they can have government appointments. this is why they want power at all cost for the sake of Political patronage and benefit.the bulk of people that are in their schools are even southerners.
Secondly the Yoruba muslims are largely muslimised by the Ahmadiyya and Maliki groups who are themselves peacefull traders who brought islam this far. however it was not so for the Hausa fulani. It was thru conquest of idolatrous tribes by Holy Islamic Warrior-reformers and mujaheedins!! they obtained the ~~Bloody~~ Caliphate by brutal and forced conversions of barbaric and animist tribes. It worked for the Jihadists then, WHY NOT NOW!!! So, I am not surprised when my friends from the Southwest try to speak ill of boko haram and feel irked by wholesale attempts to brand MUSLIMS as Terrorists because of the Actions of a few but determined Extremists!!! The arguments as to which version is the true interpretation of islam, i am afraid my be settled at the other side of eternity. but for now, there is a Devil to fight & conquer!!!

Say ye: "We believe in Allah and the revelation given to us and to Abraham Isma'il Isaac Jacob and the Tribes and that given to Moses and Jesus and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord we make no difference between one and another of them and we bow to Allah (in Islam)."
So if they believe as ye believe they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them and He is the All-Hearing the All-Knowing.
(Our religion is) the baptism of Allah; and who can baptize better than Allah? and it is He whom we worship.
Say: Will ye dispute with us about Allah seeing that He is our Lord and your Lord; that we are responsible for our doings and ye for yours; and that we are sincere (in our faith) in Him?
Or do ye say that Abraham Isma'il Isaac Jacob and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say: Do ye know better than Allah? Ah! who is more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from Allah? But Allah is not unmindful of what ye do!
That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case.

The Same Religion as That Enjoined on Noah

To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: He enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to whom He will: for He knows full well all things.

Allah Sent down Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) Before the Qur'an

He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. There is no god but He the Exalted in Might the Wise.

Allah Sent Jesus the Son of Mary Confirming the Law, Sent Him the Gospel

Qur'an 5:45-47 Surah Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread)
We ordained therein for them: "Life for life eye for eye nose for nose ear for ear tooth for tooth and wounds equal for equal." But if anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity it is an act of atonement for himself. And if any fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed they are (no better than) wrong-doers.
And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary confirming the law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light and confirmation of the law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.
Let the people of the Gospel Judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed they are (no better than) those who rebel.

Friends on that Day will be foes one to another except the Righteous.

O Allah Our Lord! Send Us from Heaven a Table Set

Those who reject faith and do wrong Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way.
Except the way of Hell to dwell therein for ever: and this to Allah is easy.
O mankind! the Apostle hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: it is best for you. But if ye reject faith to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise.

"And (appoint him) an Apostle to the Children of Israel (with this message): I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I make for you out of clay as it were the figure of a bird and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave; and I heal those born blind and the lepers and I quicken the dead by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe.
"(I have come to you) to attest the Law which was before me and to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah and obey me.
"It is Allah who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a way that is straight."

Mary, the Daughter of 'Imran, Guarded Her Chastity

This similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam: He created him from dust then said to him: "Be" and he was.
The truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt.
If anyone disputes in this matter with thee now after (full) knowledge hath come to thee say: "Come! let us gather together our sons and your sons our women and your women ourselves and yourselves: then let us earnestly pray and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"
This is the true account: there is no god except Allah; and Allah He is indeed the Exalted in Power the Wise.
But if they turn back Allah hath full knowledge of those who do mischief.

Allah Too Planned and the Best of Planners Is Allah

Qur'an 3:52-58 Surah Ale-'Imran (The Family of 'Imran)
When Jesus found unbelief on their part he said: "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the Disciples: "We are Allah's helpers we believe in Allah and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.
"Our Lord! we believe in what thou hast revealed and we follow the Apostle; then write us down among those who bear witness."
And (then unbelievers) plotted and planned and Allah too planned and the best of planners is Allah.
Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject Faith to the Day of Resurrection; then shall ye all return unto Me and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.
"As to those who reject faith I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help.
"As to those who believe and work righteousness Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong.
"This is what We rehearse unto thee of the Signs and the Message of Wisdom."

They Killed Him Not Nor Crucified Him

Qur'an 4:155-159 Surah An-Nisaa (The Women)
(They have incurred divine displeasure): in that they broke their Covenant: that they rejected the Signs of Allah; that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; we need no more)"; nay Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy and little is it they believe.
That they rejected faith: that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge.
That they said (in boast) "We killed Christ (Maseeh) Jesus the son of Mary the Apostle of Allah"; but they killed him not nor crucified him but so it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge but only conjecture to follow for of a surety they killed him not.
Nay Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power Wise.
And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment He will be a witness against them.

samkoro: All u just did was to pick out some verses which where born out of the violent and turbulent pasts of world history due to the sin of Adam and eve.It was a dark period when salvation did not exist.Man was very much afraid of the destiny of man after death.There was no insight into that life,they were only sure of condemnation by Jehovah.Then Gods annoyance "faded" and he promised to send christ as a messiah to show the Dark world the only way to paradise.Islam is living in that past.

John 3:16 --once one is in christ,he is a new creature ,the old has passed away and behold the new has come.The new way is to follow christ so as to make heaven.He sacrifised himself cos his blood is costly and oly and can save mankind rather than the human sacrifice the moslems are doing to attone for sins to make heAven,not knowing its a highway to hell fire.Thus christ did not preach murder and human sacrifice.He only thought,love,kindness,purity,benevolence and all goodness.

Try and read the book of revelation in the bible.It a part of the bible christians fear to read cos things revealed there are happening.

When u talk about context I laugh cos I know what context means.All moslems are in that context.Are we not non moslems again? Are jews not jews in some situation ? Are christians not christians when reject mohamed thus they are bombed.

My beloved brother,the biggest mistake a human can make is to allow himself or herself to be decieved by satan through his prophet mohamed.The bible said satan will come as an angel of light to decieve.Satan is already doing that through mohamed and the koran.

Repent and go to heaven.

Commonalities:

Warnings:

"If only they [i.e. Christians] had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course, but many of them follow a course that is evil" (5:66).

"Oh People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion, nor say of God anything but the truth. Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, was (no more than) a messenger of God, and His Word which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him. So believe in God and His messengers. Say not, 'Trinity.' Desist! It will be better for you, for God is One God, Glory be to Him! (Far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is going to control the present - fundamentalism or freedom? History is being distorted by many preachers and politicians. They are heard on the airwaves condemning atheists and routinely claim Adolph Hitler was one. What a crock! Hitler was a Roman Catholic, baptized into that religio-political institution as an infant in Austria. He became a communicant and an altar boy in his youth, and was confirmed as a "soldier of Christ" in that church. The worst doctrines of that church never left him. He was steeped in its liturgy, which contained the words, "perfidious Jew." This hateful statement was not removed until 1961. Perfidy means treachery.

In his day, hatred of Jews was the norm. In great measure it was sponsored by the two major religions of Germany, Catholicism and Lutheranism. He greatly admired Martin Luther, who openly hated the Jews. Luther condemned the Catholic Church for its pretensions and corruption, but he supported the centuries of papal pogroms against the Jews. Luther said, "The Jews deserve to be hanged on gallows seven times higher than ordinary thieves," and "We ought to take revenge on the Jews and kill them." "Ungodly wretches" he calls the Jews in his widely read Table Talk.

Hitler seeking power, wrote in Mein Kampf. "... I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews. I am doing the Lord's work." Years later, when in power, he quoted those same words in a Reichstag speech in 1938.

Jesus prayers became mandatory in all schools under his administration. While abortion was illegal in pre-Hitler Germany he took it to new depths of enforcement, requiring all doctors to report to the government the circumstances of all miscarriages. China has started diversifying away from the U.S. dollar, yet another sign that it's time to invest in the yuan.

A report from Standard Chartered Bank last week showed China's foreign exchange reserves expanded by $196 billion in the first four months of this year. About 75% of that investment was in non-U.S. dollar assets.

This is the biggest gap between accumulated reserves and purchased U.S. debt by China in at least five years.

As the dollar's value weakens, China has taken steps to distance itself from the currency, and attempted to strengthen its own by investing more in gold and other assets.

Money Morning Chief Investment Strategist Keith Fitz-Gerald said China's diversification means the yuan is backed by better assets than other countries' currencies.

"That is why the yuan is likely to emerge as a new reserve currency, and yet another argument for owning the yuan as an investment," said Fitz-Gerald. "This is the full circle nobody expects and one of the reasons I frequently refer to China's yuan as the only currency on the planet with adult supervision."

Japan's plan to buy Chinese government bonds worth up to $10 billion (780 billion yen) is expected to help China's bid to promote the yuan's international use

Every time the Muslims talk about Prophet Muhammad (saw) to the heretics, they use a point against the saintly character of Prophet(saw) by pointing fingers towards his marriage with a girl named Ayesha(ra), who was presumably, 12 years old at the time of her marriage to Prophet and another woman named Zainab, whom he married after she divorced a man named Zaid whom Prophet had adopted as his son. Muslims on the other hand are commanded to hold her in highest regards according to the will and decree of Allah(swt) as is evident from the verse above. Moreover, it's a historical fact that A'ishah (ra) was one who possessed exceptional qualities, and Holy Prophet saw in her a great woman of the future who was best suited to perform the duties of a wife and of a teacher whose words and deeds had to be preserved for the guidance of mankind. A'ishah(ra) turned out to be one of the greatest woman scholars for Islam, thus setting an example for future generations of Muslim women. Aishah(ra) was said to be the most knowledgeable in Islam, even by the male companions of the Prophet's times and was in fact one of the most learned amongst them. Companions had to come to her and seek the knowledge that only she knew that only she was privy to. Her significant example of being highly regarded especially among the men plays an important role in removing beyond a shadow of a doubt any uncertainties regarding women to be inferior to men in aspects of faith or false notions condemning women to be hindered from earning a high status in society, especially in terms of spiritual growth and morality. Compare this to the history of other major religions in which women were regarded to remain subordinate to men especially in terms of spiritual development. All his wives, especially A'ishah(ra), transmitted many scholarly works (sayings, deeds, and actions) from Prophet Muhammad pbuh. Aishah's father, Abu Bakr, was a key figure in the history of Islam as well as a close friend and trusted advisor of Muhammad. The joining in marriage of Muhammad and Abu Bakr's daughter solidified the relationship between him and the Prophet. When Muhammad(saw) died, there was a need for a new Muslim leader. Abu Bakr was chosen khalifah due to his close knit relationship with Muhammad and the marriage between Muhammad and his daughter, A'ishah.

From the non-Muslim front, there is a terrible hypocritical approach to this whole affair of Prophet's multiple marriages. It has been effectively proven by scholars that the age of Ayesha(ra) which is written in few Hadith books is contradictory and can be false. See, 'How infallible are Sahih Hadiths?' in this regard. Nowhere in Holy Qur'an, even a passing reference has been made to this aspect of Prophet's wife. But, before I direct you that part of the scholarly study, let's agree for argument's sake, that the charges are true and you still want to hold this argument against ethics of Islam then try to have a look into your own backyard and let's see, what other major religions talk about such marriage concepts.

Ayesha(ra) was engaged to someone else before she got engaged to Muhammad(saw):
Lady Ayesha(ra) was already engaged to a non-Muslim man named Jober Ibn Al-Moteam Ibn Oday. Back then, the people of Mecca did not object to Ayesha(ra)'s engagement to Jober because she was physically mature enough to be considered for marriage. Her parents saw that and they engaged her to Jober.

The only reason why Ayesha (ra)'s father, Abu Baker Al Siddeek, broke her engagement with Jober is because he was a non-Muslim. Later, a woman named Kholeah Bint Hakeem suggested for Muhammad (saw) to marry Ayesha(ra), because Muhammad (saw) and Abu Baker became best friends. Muhammad (saw) engaged Ayesha(ra) for 2 years before he married her.

Abû Bakr (ra) is also recorded to have spoken these words: "There are three things I cherish most: a look at your face, to spend my wealth on you and that my daughter is thy wife."

All Muslim scholars agree 100% that Muhammad(saw) and Aisha(ra) were engaged for 2 years before marriage.

Prophet Muhammad(saw) was a Noble Messenger of God. Muhammad(saw) lived in a society and culture that existed 1400 years ago, and we must not judge what he or others did based on the standards we have set today. It is wrong and foolish to do so!.

Another major (seemingly oldest) religion of the east, Hinduism, finds it's roots in early marriages of the girls. Child marriage of daughters 5-6 years old was common due to the custom of dowry and to avoid scandals [Nand 17] [Basham 167-8] [Yadav 70] [Altekar 16] [Banerjee 70]. Hindu Law books prescribe that the best partner for a man in one-third his age. Thus a man 18 year old should marry a girl 6 years old! –

"A man, aged thirty years, shall marry a maiden of twelve who pleases him, or a man of twenty-four a girl of eight years of age; if (the performance of) his duties would otherwise be impeded, he must marry sooner." [Manu IX.94]

This was meant to prevent any scandals. Narada states that some of the defects to be avoided in brides are if they already had a relationship with another man or have their minds set on another, they should not be selected [Sheth 67].

So, what we have to keep in mind is, not only was it a custom in the Arab society as well, to Engage/Marry a young girl it was also common in the other olden world societies. Also, the case of Mary the mother of Jesus comes to mind, in non-biblical sources she was between 11-14 years old when she conceived Jesus (peace be upon him). Mary (may peace be upon her) had already been 'betrothed' to Joseph before conceiving Jesus. Joseph was a much older man and Mary(ra) was younger than 11-14 years of age when she was 'betrothed' to Joseph. We, as Muslims, would never call Joseph a wrong doer, nor would we ever refer to the 'Holy Ghost' of the Bible, that 'Impregnated' Mary as a "Rapist" , and Allah Almighty knows best. Not to mention, the present day misguided Priests of the church, painting the world red with their escapades that involve countless crimes of 'Pedophilia' and Rapes', where Susan Archibald, 37, a now retired Air Force officer who said a Catholic Air Force chaplain abused her starting in the 1980's, when she was an 18-year-old cadet at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He was 38. In her testimony she said that, "When my chaplain first began to abuse me, he told me that God had sent me to him as a gift." A gift to use and throw.

What I will say on this subject is that we should be wary of latter-day converts, pretending to be on the side of the people. Femi Fani-Kayode, as OBJ's Aide, used gutter language to abuse all and everyone who suggested to the government then to convene a Sovereign National Conference. And now this same man has turned around to recommend what he called some elderly people "mad and senile old men" for.

It must be that he is either becoming senile and old himself, or broke and seeking another means of patronage, or both!

Whenever i wake up and i still find myself in nigeria,still being a nigerian the whole essence of being alive just vanishes cause i know my hopes and dreams of a peacefull and succesful life in this country is almost impossible to achieve.It is only in a cursed country like nigeria that someone like fani kayode and ibb can wake up one morning, make pronouncments and still have thier supporters fighting at each others throats.A fool at fourty is a fool forever.If you cannot see the writing on the wall you will soon hear it on the street.this country is headed for the duldrums.If chekoslovakia,soviet union,the sudan all can disintergrate all in this modern age then nigeria isn't immuned.If their can be mass killings in rwanda and serbia,fighting in congo what stops it happening in nigeria with all the hatred we have for each other.Corruption,oppression,vote stealing and rigging,outright banditry by security services especially the police,extra judicial killings,vices everywhere in the land,homosexuality,lesbianism even cannibalism is even practised checkout okija shrine and the law maker caught bathing with blood.
Yet we expend our energy on tribalism and religiouse bigotry.I for one wont stay in this hell for long,by the grace God.The slightest opportunity i get i'll check out .The war i see on the horizon wont meet me.I better die were people are seriouse than unseriouse.

Jesus was not of this world, he was of the kingdom of GOD and came to reveal it's essense to mankind and to shed his blood as an atonement for our sins.

Now , he was not helpless on the cross, he willingly gave up his life and he clearly stated in this bible verse :

The right question to ask is should boko haram also be blamed for all the assassinations,armed robbery and armed banditry that is taking place in south east nigeria.What of the communal crises that took place in enugu about a month ago were about 60 people died in sensless killings?Are those not igbo killing igbo.I will give you an incident that happened in adamawa which again was wrongly blamed on boko haram.A curfew was placed as a result of the mubi killings,three passenger's on a bike who defied the the curfew were flagged down by the police but refused to stop,police opened fire and killed two the spot.News outlets wrongly carried the incident as an attack by boko haram.I am by no means a fan of boko haram,i wish they are all brought to justice swiftly,and there can be justification for any killing be it a christian,Muslim,igbo,hausa,fulani,yoruba or any other tribe.I hope we learn to differentiate btw the wheat and chaff.
