Both Courses are good.Men,follow your mind.Do what you like more. |
@dezobo, Racial discrimination to some extent is extinct.I'm more concerned about integrating into the society. If you've been to the UK for instance you'll undestand what I mean.Or even Finland not too far from st.petersburg.In these areas I've just mentioned, nobody looks at you. They are used to foreigners already. But in a place like Kiev(thats the capital of Ukraine),men, check out the looks from those guys as if you are from a different planet. Well, forget about racial discrimination.I've never encountered it.Though I know guys who've had encounters. In the university, you'll feel at home. But you won't be staying on campus all day long. It's integration into the society that really matters.Anyone who has the financial buoyancy and feel he can fit in,then you are gonna have a swell time.Guys in the western world hustle--here boys spend.Thats the difference. You aint allowed to work so you've got to be consider the financial aspects before making any move!!! |
Hey, Get the words from me.I'm presently studying in Russia. All the hype about racial discrimination is true and at the same time, false. It is going to be a great ordeal for you to study in Ukraine.Mind you,I've got lots of Ukrainians studying with me.I think racial discrimination is less in Ukraine compared to what obtains here in Russia. All the same, before you make any move, weigh the options available. If you were my relative,I wouldn't advise studying in any east european country. The socialistic trebd is still in their bllood. It might be difficult to fully integrate into the society and that hamper your advancement. But if you can integrate which equally possible like some guys here, you'll have a swell time.Life in Russia and the like aint boring at all compared to what how most people live in the western world. My words--don't hope to come work here or to get a scholarship. There aint no stuff like that.If you don't have the means, bros, just chill and continue where you are.Any more info you need let me know.I'll happily let you have them.My regards. |
Hi, Sorry,I was really busy with lots of stuffs.Finals at the corner you know.Try the 3000+ list in the Barrons GRE preparation textbook and on vocabulary you are almost ready. You really need to prepare for the GRE conscietiously and not just writing it "very fast"as you said if really you are aiming for a very high score.Practice is the Key and with dilligence, the technique will be mastered.I've got some e-materials,if you are interested holla at me--I'll send them across. How's PH? Let's hope we gonna crack the GRE in flying colors. |
If you want geniuses to work for you,put up an advert in the national dailies.Be sure to provide a challenging environment for them to work in else you be working for them. |
oyb, Bros, men be cool. You hot!!!You crossed the 700 mark in the verbal.Accept my congrats, men.I'm a telecomms engr major in my junior yr and will be writing the GRE sometime in summer. The verbal brings down my score always-probably because I've been in Russia for too long.If you are confident of anything above 600 on the verbal,I'll recommend you retake the GRE so as to boost your quant score as thats most important when it comes to engr grauate schools esp elect/elect where you are expected to have a high aptitute in quantitaive analysis.A high score in quant in your case might make you more qualified for some oustanding fellowships. My Kudos once again for that great verbal score--it rocks me off my feet.I rarely advance above 550 in my preparatory tests. I'm using the GRE Barron.Though haven't yet gone through it,getting used to the 3000+ new words is really proving hectic. Can you suggest what I can do to get used to such a huge list? The quant aint no problem--I'm always getting above the 780 range--hope same it's gonna apply in the real exams. Where you applying for graduate studies?Guess you are a fall'08 applicant .Maybe we can rub hands together during the application come fall.My best wishes, boy.Holla!! |
Hi, Yeah ,as a PH brought up though now in SPB and preparing for the GRE,maybe we can work together virtually. My GRE comes up in June and it aint really been easy combining studies and preparations. The verbal section freaks me out.My score is always below the 70th percentile. When are you writing the GRE? How have you been preparing?I guess you are a fall'08 applicant.Which schools have you picked as your choices?Hope to hear from you. |
Boy, Just read. You know yourself better so your study guide should be made to suit you.Jamb aint o big deal.I wrote Jamb when I was in SS3 like you I guess and scored 272.The score is just average but it goes to show that you only need to believe in yourself and know your stuff.Forget all the rantings about the so called "runs".It won't take you nowhere. My best wishes as you prepare to crack the exams. |
Iren Ison ho!!! Mkparawa Isonho!!!! Iban i no uyooooo!!!! Men, My2cents kudos for bringing this topic on this forum about the Ibibio people. I'm an ibibio boy and a proud one indeed. Gonna get the book. Hope to read more from fellow ibibio people. We need not forget our root no matter where we are. Just my 2 cents to My2cents!!!! |
Just wanna switch 'em girls as I like.F**k the institution called marriage.I switch everyday and I'm loving it.So why get married then when I'm damn sure I'm still gonna continue switching and finally get divorced?Men,slam as much as u can and babes, have ur fun and forget about marriage except u sure wanna get divorced. If you love that, then I'm ready for you baby.Just holla and I'm exchange rings at your convenience. |
Hey, That was the past you know. That was the old gone year(2006).Apologies if I offended you.Trying to make amends with all peeps I had beef with be it virtual or real.Hope you accept it?My regards and hope all's well with you. |
hey Katherinae, Whatz up?Long time. It's been a while you know.So whatz papping in ATL? |
well, does switching chicks everyday makes one a dog-scrot( whatever thgat means)? |
Me I like girls with the height and with those long skinny legs.Men,U've got to try them out.Erotically stimulating 24/7.Oh,should make some calls-already going randy. |
Radiant, Come on, don't pretend like you don't know!!!! |
Girls, Pls stop dreaming. The subject was who a "Real Man" is and not who an "Ideal Man" is. A real man switches chicks everyday.A real man is either Rich or Dies trying!!!THe Ideal's the opposite. So Ladies, if u want a Real Man,just holla ama get back to u, |
Men, try hard.A first class creates opportunities for you.You are entitled to many job opportunities and more likely to get a research fellowship for your ph.d if you are interested in latest research in your field. All the same,I'll say do what you are suppose to do and relax.4.48 is a great GPA especially if more of the A's are in those areas you intend to specialise on( I'm assuming you are interested in cutting-edge industrial research). Make sure you make the best use of that GPA.I'd advise you apply to US unis and get higher degrees now that you are still hot and fresh from college. My best wishes. |
yeah, calculus is a very great mathematical tool.It really has great real life applications. The russians are amongst the pioneers in the field of calculus although the world tend to know about it cos some great works of past russian scientists wasn't translated. Wish u the best in your research.I'm also a research student in mathematical and computational cryptography in wireless telecommunication systems. So in case you are going into the areas of number theory, the we could inetrate and might break and create strong and long-lasting cryptographic algorithms. My best wishes. |
Greatest malabites!!!! Greatest Malabresses!!! Action!!!Action!!!Action!!!! Enough Gbosaaa!!!!! But then let the ever great and world-representing LIONS AND LIONESS cap some real stuff. All the same,Aluta continue. Let 'em deckers sail safely. |
@English1, hey, girl, pls don't in anyway insult the Nigerians in this forum.Making a generalization based on the comments of a few guys here is really baseless. And besides,I even doubt your professed knowledge of human Biology. There are lots of high school students in here based in Nigeria who can teach you stuffs in Biology.ou've got to have a rethink on the IQ of Nigerians. On a general note, taking to vasectomy is highy preferential. He who thinks he needs it should go for it.I have never thought about it-but if it's "necessary" then for real,I'll go for it. |
@saintsam, In that case, people should differentiate those who couldn't conclude their studies due to academic inability from the few prodigies who INTENTIONALLY withdrew from studies. Most people assume a drop-out to be someone who was thrown out of college due to incompetency.I only wanted to stress this point.Your contributions I think have got good sides to it.My regards and when are you concluding studies? |
@saintway, I don't think anyone should use a third party as a parameter of success. But I doubt if you wouldn't graduate summa cum laude if you are really good in your field(I mean academically). Wish you the best. |
@saintway, You need to get something right here.Bill Gates wasn't a drop out.He was on the dean's list for three semester's at stretch. He made perfect GPA's.Thats to tell you you that the guy was really good.People really confuse this issue of being a drop-out.He suspended his studies indefinitely and I don't think that makes him a drop-out.I see a drop-out as someone who'e unable to complete studies due to academic inability. |
@lioness, your emoticon is blinking at me and I'm not finding it funny.Whats up girl, where u a Lioness?Identify with a past Lion cos we are everly the best in Nigeria and beyond. |
@saintsam, Men,you are correct. You just nailed it right perfectly.I love the way you composed the writeup. As a word, first class can be the simplest grade to get out of college.Just follow and apply the idiomatic principles spelt out by saintsam above. Saintsam, did you graduate or will graduate with a first-class? |
Men,Dunnies, leave 'em peeps to do what interest 'em.There aint no damn shit like your "wannabees"!!!Damn, aint you a wanna-be in your own way of life!!!F**k you haters.Their fofo makes sure u guys become lovers. C'mon, dudes, spark some shit around. If you are fit to take 9,then u r damn fit to pop 9's and pop 'em unendingly. We Nigerians are known to make things happen wherever we are.I'm not a Gangster and I tell u dunnies to ya face, those jiggas are far better in thoughts n smarter than yo acclaimed faked-assed dunnies with silly holier-than-thou attitudes. Don't let 'em do it to u cos they gonna overdo it.U had better watch what u say about we Nigerians u guys portray as wannabes else u get ur jaw shattered into shackles. Damn mothafuckass!!!! |
By the way,why the " " do you want a "decent " girl? And besides, who's a decent girl? Come on,Jigga, you wanna be a lover boy?Damn, you've got to first rub some dirts off your shoulder and have a rethink."Em girls are pimping tight and playing their games aight,so why complain? You just join the spree and ooze out some good stuff-u gonna feel good,I promise u!!! Hope you get your flows tight first.C'mon, there aint no indecency in any girl. What seems decent to you might be absurd to a third party. You had better look for someone who's goin' be compatible with you other than keep searching for some decent ever pimping babes in whatever facet you see it.I feel for you lover-boy to be.Wish you the best in your search for decency but remember you've gat to decent in the first place. |
@Seyigoy Please, guy a first class is possible. The nigerian universities produce lots of perfect GPA holders on annual basis. In fact, they are numerous and are making the country proud overseas. The issue of saying is unattainable or practically impossible is unfounded. If you desperately need something you'll surely get it.But first class should be your aim.You should aim to develop yourself in all the facets of life.I don't encourage being the stereotypic always-nose-in-the-book first class geek. In a nutshell,Summa cum laude is something that lots of people get and more are gonna get it .Just do your best.I don't believe in working hard to get a first class.Work hard if you are on a research project. If you are brainstorming to come up with interesting discoveries, thats where the issue of working hard comes in.But if it's just getting the A's,what should stop you if you attend all lectures, ace yout problem sets, get everything as they are being taught and not going to "crash" 3 days to exams. All the same, thats my approach to getting my A's.I work smart cos I need to keep up with current trends in life, movies, music, sports and the like.I only work hard when I'm on an internship!!! |
The great malabites should holla. Some 2 and a half gbosaz to em all.I wasn't a malabite but a greal LION of the pioneer UNN.Malabites are great but the LIONS and LIONESS would rule anywhere. Hope some Malabites would help you out here. Aluta continues!!!! And the rogged Lords should everly sail safe!!! |
Hello,I studied C++ for the first time when I was a freshman.I want to continue studying it independently now.Do you you think it's advisable in the present day software industry? If not, then what should one delve into. It's more like a Hobby to me and I hope to turn professional after graduation. Sbucareer and Ynot,Hope you are going to comment. Hoping to hear from you. |
