But maybe we will start with a Seminar for freethinkers, deists, pantheists, atheists, agnostics, irreligious and with time we could consider putting christians and muslims into the picture.

no matter what you call your god my faith does not allow me to know it, because my faith is already established on my god. I am blind to your faith and so are you to mine So you and i will always walk different roads. Every faith leads to a different path, it is why we have so many religions, gods and doctrines.

This is just beautiful. Love is the only 'RELIGION' that can triumph. Love is the only cosmic energy that unites. Where there is no love, there is no God. God is love, it is what preserves us.

neither does the Quran God or Amen-Ra have any country or race, being a christian doesn't equate to knowing God, neither does being a hindu, muslim, buddhist or traditional african worshipper equate to knowing God. The Bible God is just one version out of many. You should know that the different versions of God all have their different priorities and agenda. The ALMIGHTY would not reveal himself differently to different people, that will lead only to conflicts and confusion. So let no one religion try to claim that their's is the real thing and at the same time dismiss that of others as fake. The ALMIGHTY is found everywhere, not in books. Anyway lets not derail the thread.

the real God is the one we know as CHUKWU in Igbo, OLODUMARE in Yoruba the general commander of the universe or multiverse whichever it is. The bible God is Yahweh, the god of the jews, just like Amadioha or Horus. The bible is the word of God(yahweh) according to the jews, same as the Quran or Bagavat-Gita according to the Arabs and Indians respectively. The words of God<the Grand commander of all> are written in all things pertaining to life and not in any one religious book or compilation of books. The word is everywhere, please open your eyes. Why did religion become a tool of division instead of unity, why do our spiritual leaders differ so much about what the spiritual is all about, why is there so many versions of God from said spiritual leaders and their books, why so much confusion about you?

Una no dey watch oyibo film? In 'The sound of music' Maria married a man with seven children and they were happy (true story).
On a more serious note i know a french man who married a woman with 2 kids from her previous marriage and its not a big deal to him. He even chose not to have his own kids but plays the father role to his wife's kids, its just sweet. We live in a new age, there's no time for jealousy and selfishness.
I have seen a number of women who cannot love other people's children, its simply pathetic. You dont need a blood connection to be a mother/father. Thumbs up to those women who can do it.

You say this only because you live in this part of the earth. Try other places and see how deeply rooted people are in the concept of God they believe that they just can't be wrong. Then it'll dawn on you as an intellectual that something is off. I dont think any sane person will delibrately want to dismiss the Truth if its something that penetrates every single being in the world. I am sure no religious belief penetrates everyone in this world. So no one can claim they know the way to God, and expect everyone to go that way. Our existence itself is a riddle.

Why do people believe that there's nothing to lose when you die and find out there's no God. If there's no God other theories are bound to be true..

1. The alien conspiracy theory might just be true and you'll end up having your soul harvested by these aliens you already submitted yourselves to.

2. Blackroot science claims that we're gods, what if it turns out to be true and you find out you've been living under an illusion of some made up God, while ignoring the true God(you), therefore unable to save yourself due to your willful submission to the manipulation of the creators of the false gods.

3. What if your ancestors and the God of your ancestors were the only true way to salvation, having shunned them to embrace other people's own, thereby cutting yourself off from your ancestors, your only real channel of existence.

4. What if God(the true one) accepts only those who decide to exercise their God-given faculty of 'REASON' and employ it in all they do and believe.. I.e the sort of people who surrender everything to reason, to which more atheist
than theists belong.

There's alot to lose if you're not right, you cant carry a wrong concept all your life and expect to lose nothing in the end.

So my advice is this- Live Life, accept the good, play a role to reduce the bad, prevent the ugly if you can. Forget about heavenly race, face the present, lend a hand, save a life, make a sacrifice, nurture the earth that you've been given. Make your own little contribution to the progress of mankind. Leave a mark in someone's heart. Believe whatever you want but Live free, love yourself and love others. I think this is the way to go.

You can claim all the superiority in the world my friend, thats your cup of tea.

A a single experience, a single encounter, a single word can change a person's life, so Yes marriage 'CAN' change a womanizer, there's no impossibility here. Some people when they get the love and stability that marriage presents they can change tremendously. Though this does not apply in every case. Nevertheless marriage can change a chronic womanizer because it delivers the needed pressure to abstain from old ways.
