Siena: My li'll sis Oghenerukevwe, why not? Is the age gap too big?
I think it's great. Don't forget that in 12 years time, after probably 4 children, time will MOST likely take it's toll on a lady. A 10-year gap is ideal, so she doesn't end up looking older than hubby!
I respect your choice though. Good point you've got there about nurturing of child which takes its toll on women except they had the offspring when they were younger. |

Rukkydelta: My opinion not yours.........Old guys irritate me and I think ladies should also marry young men cause men tends to die early than their wives [Counter to your reason stated ] I do not agree with this 'men tend to die early than their wives'. From my observation, women leave first before the husband except the wife is very much younger than the man; say 10-12 years younger. |

greatgod2012: Each to his/her own! Some can and some can't? And that doesn't make none of them better than the other.
If you can, that doesn't make you better than those who can't. And if you cant , that doesn't make you better than those who can. It depends on individual preferences. In summary, go for what works for you. |

Politicos: Introverts, I strongly encourage you to hook up with extroverted females for marriage balance and procreation importance so that you don't bear kids who would become socially dysfunctional and unhealthily reclusive.
My best relationship ever was with one finely outgoing damsel sometime ago. Her bright personality truly shone on my general outlook on society. With her loving shove, I appreciated the social benefits of occasional outdoor engagements and recreational activities. She was superb! I miss her every day of my life. Right now, I've been forced into a single world until there is a worthy replacement. I was enjoying the comments until I saw yours. What did you mean by 'unhealthily reclusive' I also detest your submission that all introverts are socially dysfunctional. I am not because I like going out with people that matters to me; those I can easily unwind before them. |

Family › Re: Will/Can A Feminist Make A Good And Wife Material? by Mattin(op): 5:07pm On Nov 06, 2015 |
taiwoti: There is nothing like feminism but equal right, all those claiming feminism are confused like the DEVIL.
The Equal Rights Movements wanted things such as the right to vote and more equality in the work force, a law against domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay and a law against intimate harassment and intimate violence. Feminism is a movement started by men hating, lazy, angry and demonic women.(sorry I'm loose with words sometimes). Feminism arose from the extreme frustrations of women who wanted additional and unnecessary freedoms like abortion, etc. Ever wondered why Woman A's feminism is not always Woman B's feminism?? That is because they confuse equal right movement with feminism. I hate feminism because it has failed to acknowledgment that there is any inequality that oppresses men, and they are hell bent on keeping this oppression. I hate feminism because they tend to want equality only when it benefits them. Their money is their money but their husbands money is for the two of them yet they claim equality. To hit a woman is wrong but to hit a man is self defense. I hate feminism because they actively seek to overthrow any vestige of male dominance in society, to the point of opposing the biblical roles of husbands and wives, defending abortionon demand, and promoting lesbianism. I hate feminism because it is based in arrogance, and it is the opposite of the call to the born-again believer to be a servant. I hate feminsim because they are breaking up the traditional role of the woman in a family and society. It also causes confusion among men and women as to where they stand in the family that's why you hear people say my husband is the head and I'm the neck. I could go on and on but lemme stop here. To The Christian Feminist. Please think twice. Feminism is from the pit of hell. God outlines the roles of women and men as different but equally as important. He created us different physically, emotionally. Men and women can never be equal. You can say 2 + 2 = 5 if you want to, but the truth is intolerant... 2 + 2 will always equal 4. Don't allow end time teachers to tell you otherwise. While equal right movement is fighting for all of us, Feminist is attacking men, marriage and promoting lesbianism and being single. The tussle for power in marriage is completely unnecessary. And before you start thinking that Tallesty likes to oppress women, lemme clear you. NO he doesn't. Tallesty believes in equality as much as anyone, but WITHIN the teachings of the Word of God. It is sin in the heart that causes inequality. It is sin that causes men to treat women in ways that are meant to demean or objectify them. And it is sin that seeks counterfeit solutions to counteract these inequalities. The only true cure for inequality is obedience to God’s Word. If men and women would walk in obedience to God’s Word then their won't be a need to for feminism or equal right movement.
Not my word, but courtesy of a nairalander. And its indeed wise. I can't agree less. |

Hmmmm, valid point Larai I won't argue with that logic.
But me I like and I want both things in place i.e well spoken English & well written English.
It's not like I want access to a man's bank account, just something as simple as good English - it's a huge turn on for me. There is nothing like this expression "But 'me' I like and want both things in place." 'Me' is always in object position in sentence. It doesn't take subject position like you used it. E.g But me I like and I want both things in place-wrong But I like and want both things in place- right. Note: No repetition of 'I' in the second main clause. Regards Reach me for more correct usage |

citizenisb: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/10/nigerias-economy-may-collapse-in-the-next-3-months-if-fayose/
Speaking at the 22nd Convocation of the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, Fayose warned that unless drastic action is taken, the economy might collapse in the next three months.
Fayose, who is the Visitor to the College, lamented the deplorable state of the nation’s economy, noting that rather than address it, the All Progressives Congress- led Federal Government has been employing propaganda to deal with the issue.
He said: “This is the time for the Federal Government to come out and tell Nigerians about the state of the economy rather than employ propaganda.
“I foresee serious trouble ahead because in the next three months, the economy may collapse. Oil now sells in the region of $40 per barrel.
Things have never been bad like this. When I returned from the Holy Land yesterday (Wednesday), I was told that Ekiti got N1.4bn whereas my wage bill per month is N2.6bn.”
Governor Fayose, however decried that Ekiti people don’t pay tax, wondering how government could work for the people with depleting allocation from the centre. 'Nigerian Economy' wrong 'Nigeria Economy' right. Nigerian means a citizen of Nigeria. Nigerians means Everybody in Nigeria. Was it Fayose that committed the blunder or OP? Lol. Just joking OP, please correct the error, thanks. |
