I just discovered that crazy traffic has reduced on Lagos roads since the fuel price increase. Even people with rickety vehicles that can't afford the new prices have resorted to parking the vehicles at home to join commercial buses. Must everyone go out in their rickety cars in Lagos just to show off? If this is the case, maybe govt should maintain the current prices so that we can all cut our coat according to our cloth in Nigeria. Free or cheap petrol is making us inefficient on the road.

This has nothing to do with loyalty. So, Shuaibu wants to spend 16years either as gov or dep gov in a state that has many qualified potentials. Is he the only one loyal to Obaseki? Why can't office rotate round the state first among other zones to give sense of belonging to every part of the state. Greediness won't allow that in Africa. A typical greedy Nigerian politician wants to spend 8years as dep gov, another 8 years as gov and then unlimited years as senator until he becomes Vice President and the vicious cycle continues.

Any President in a democracy or capitalist state works through processes and laws. By giving more allocation to states he has empowered them to pay their workers higher salaries. How many of them has done so? Has LP gov done so?

Those that are romancing Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger militaries don't know what they are doing. They are embittered souls.

It's time we focus on how the state governments are spending our money. What each state got for last month is the highest in recent years due to the redirected subsidy payments. Instead of blaming the FG we should now ask what our govs are doing with the extra resources. Tinubu has given each state what is due to them, he is no longer the problem unless you simply hate him for the sake of hating.
